There's limited seating options if you come in the afternoon when the restaurant takes over the first floor seating. I really wanted to like this restaurant. I had seen pictures on social media and it looked great, so went for lunch to try it. I went on a weekday with a couple of friends. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, so I was surprised that the service was poor. We had two different waiters. I guess it was in the middle of them changing shifts. They were both bad. Didn't come to check on us often after taking our order. Food took a while and it was just average. Won't be coming back. read more

Great drinks and great food! The birria tacos were unexpectedly amazing, I did not have high expectations for them as I did not think they would taste authentic or have good flavor. I had two drinks, a cucumber fresca and a blueberry mule, both of which were nice and refreshing. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly despite the place being packed. I enjoyed the quick meal close to my hotel along with MNF. Although my salad and pepperoni pizza bites were tasty the overall noise from the kids in the loft upstairs and noise from the games made my experience challenging. Pros: Food was DELICIOUS with reasonable prices, the restaurant was cute, and we were seated quickly. Cons: Service was the slowest I've ever had, the music was loud and it was hard to chat across a small table. They messed up our side order and didn't bring out the replacement and the second drink I ordered when they set down our food until after we were completely done with our dinner. *Our server did comp the late arrival side and drink but then took another 10-15 to bring our paid check back to us. *They were a full restaurant and a party of 10-12 sat down just before us so I tried to give the benefit of the doubt but it was ungodly slow which greatly impacted the experience and joy of it all. read more

Inside is uncomfortablely loud during prime hours. It's impossible to have a conversation as it's so loud with the noise just echoing. The live music just makes it worse. Install sound panels for cut the echo down. Another downside is the cocktails have done downhill. My old fashioned was a hot mess. Cloudy ice that was already 3/4 melted, ingredients were misproportioned (too much simple syrup and bitters all at the bottom, clearly did not mix). Food has not improved. Nachos are still stale and the "pork belly topping" still hard like chewing pebbles. read more

This place has potential but is just missing the mark right now. We stopped in for happy hour and asked about the local draft beer list and she wasn't able to remember any of them. I have tons of grace for human moments like that but I wish she would have offered to grab us a list or go ask someone else to get our questions answered. 10/10 the food, vibe, and service was great. We are in town for a tournament and found this place just behind our hotel. We had the pizza roll which had the perfect crisp outer crust yet soft and gooey on the inside. The chicken bacon ranch Mac was so good, I recommend tossing the chicken in buffalo. It's not spicy but adds the buffalo zest perfect compliment. The drinks are fun but not too high brow. Wish we lived in Pflugerville as this would become a regular spot for us. read more

Yes,Yes,Yes!! I absolutely love it here!! I've been twice at 2 different times. First for dinner before they had completely opened up the place and it was great. Food on point, drinks on point, and staff on point! We tried so much and it was all delicious. The shrimp and the pizza roll stand out for me but again, nothing we had was a disappointment. Second visit was for brunch and this time everything was up and running. The outside patio areas overlooking the pool and the little Cameroon upstairs with the bar was super fun! read more

After reading the mixed reviews, I decided to give them a shot. Went during lunchtime before it got crowded. The food was very good however, I had to send an entrée back three times because they did not have all of the ingredients included. The staff was very nice and apologetic. Unfortunately the game area outside in the front had broken equipment. It was a bit offputting as we walked in to see that these were just left out in the open. These need to be picked up and discarded immediately. The upstairs arcade area has not yet opened because of some faulty equipment. Hopefully they can get these issues addressed soon. read more

Tried this new place yesterday after seeing an Instagram post about it. I am so glad they have added a new spot in PF to hang out and has lots of options. It has a nice outside area up front w yard games and seating. Upon entry you are greeted by a hostess, the wait time for a table was about an hour so we opted for the bar. Service was great, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Behind the building but attached is an open pool area w expansive seating options both covered and uncovered. I am not sure if that's a separate paid amenity but did see people coming and going from inside the restaurant to pool area. Our drinks were the blueberry mule and a standard old fashioned. We couldn't try the old fashioned on the menu due to a tree nut allergy, it had walnut bitters and walnut liquor. Our bartender Wyatt was excellent and the old fashioned he made was delicious! We tried the drunken shrimp appetizer and the Birria tacos. I've tried many a Birria across Austin and I really liked this version because they use grilled onions not freshly cut ones. The consume is more of a thicker sauce/dip and very delicious, adds so much flavor to the tacos. Overall I was so pleased with the experience and I'll have to bring a bigger appetite next time! read more

Huevos Rancheros with corn tortillas was so tasty! Loved the caramel latte and great cold brew with sweet cream. Hayden was our server and she was awesome, super sweet. I tend to be the person with menu questions/requests and she was so patient. When my husband's food came out before mine, she was honest and apologized for putting in my order incorrectly causing the delay. Honesty and updating the customer goes a long way; I appreciated her customer service. Overall great experience!! read more

I was excited to try this place out but left a little disappointed. The restaurant itself is adorable and loved the space. We ended up sitting at the bar and service was a little spotty. They could have been more attentive and asked how everything was. The food needs more seasoning. I got the chicken sandwich and the chicken packed flavor. The bun wasn't toasted and it didn't look like a brioche bun as described on the menu. I wanted to be excited about the house made tots but they came out cold and the cheese sauce had a film on it. Both the tots and cheese sauce lacked flavor. I know this place is still new but improvements are needed especially when it comes to seasoning the food. It just fell flat for me but I will give it another go once they get the kinks worked out. read more

Very disappointed that when we pulled into the parking lot it looked dead! Soon found out why...no happy hour till 7:00 any more and none of the daily specials. We had been taking advantage of this deal for months because the 7:00 time gave us time to get home from work and head out. Unlike other places that end their HH at 6 this was a real plus for us. It's a beautiful evening (80) and outside is dead, bar 1/2 full and more than 1/2 the tables are empty. I'd hate to see this place fail but the happy hour change is a real bummer. Food and drinks are decent but over priced for the portions. Service is awful and management is rude. Took over 30 minutes to get drinks from the bar and meals were not brought out for the whole party in a timely manner. I was standing by the table for at least 15 minutes waiting to get boxes and the check with very little attention or action from the employees or management. We were looking to host a large corporate event at this space but after a simple dinner with a mid size group we could tell they cannot accommodate or support. Easily the worst customer service I have experienced in the Pflugerville area in the last 13 years. read more

The Goat is in a nice location behind the hotels and shopping restaurants. I honestly don't think you would know it exists if you don't frequent the Pfluger Town Center. It has a modern open space that provides access to a community pool in a home complex. It has plenty of parking spaces if you come in different vehicles. Specifically convenient for Cowboy Fitness Gym goers and hotel visitors across the parking lot. Our server Sam was the best. He was an active listener, attentive, and took care of all his assigned tables. A crow accidentally got in the restaurant and Sam came to the rescue of the frightened bird. I mainly tried the appetizers for the visit last Sunday but I am keen on trying their entrees with ingredients that add depth to than your regular burger. This is my first choice if I were to hangout on a date, group of friends or a family brunch. It sets itself apart from other restaurant chain in the shopping area with its warm atmosphere and diverse staff. read more

First time here. I was not impressed. Basically it's bar food. Shareable pizza rolls and the shrimp were average! at best. The birra tacos had very little inside. Flat basically. The pork was delicious but less than a tablespoon was in each taco. The harvest bowl was the best thing we had! The drinks were very good! Another thing, you can see into the bathroom from the dining room. and there is no privacy in the ante room all open air community concept. It was a huge turn off for our group. read more

I'm traveling for work, so it's my first time to The GOAT. I sat at the bar and I was warmly greeted by Sibo, the bartender. I wanted a healthier option from the menu, so I asked him what was the best option in his opinion. he was so kind and gave me a couple of great options. I went with the whipped feta sandwich , no bread, and added grilled chicken. It was great! Stopped in after golf (lunchtime) and had the Double Dip - WAY TO MUCH BLACK BEAN! - Remember that you Are in Texas and QUESO should be main ingredient But black beans were Way Over Powering & QUESO not even tasted- should have tried the Friday Special Sheet Tray Nacho..... Did thoroughly enjoyed the Double Dirty Chai-very tasty, refreshing! Spouse had Bleu Buffalo pizza, which He enjoyed but I found overpowering of Bleu cheese flavor so could not eat that either but Manager John came by and took the QUESO off and tried explain that GOAT is from the Midwest, and We Know they do things differently.... The worst experience we've had in a long time. Sat out in the patio on a lovely afternoon and place was busy but not packed. Our server couldn't have been more awful. We ordered four of the mezcal margaritas - OFF THE MENU - and was told they were out of "the mezcal" they use and all they had would be Casamigas. We simply asked what the up charge would be and he didn't know but should be "around $20." Guys, we pay $20 a margarita but that should be one we've been able to confirm is a good one! So we ask to have a regular margarita but ask which tequila would be used to replace the mezcal and he was confused when we said...we just don't want rail or well tequila for a $14.50 drink so is it...Don Julio? Something else? Just let us know! Also...it's Saturday afternoon. You're out of the one alcohol you need for a main drink on your small cocktail menu? SEND SOMEONE TO PICK SOME UP. You had tons of workers standing around doing nothing. He disappears and we figure he's asking the bartender. 10 minutes go by. We're thirsty and hungry but whatever. Manager comes out. (?) She says she hears we have questions about the tequila. Uhhhh...I guess? We explain and just say yeah we're fine substituting the mezcal for regular tequila but just want to know what our option(s) are. She says they'd up charge for Casamigos. Yup. Already covered that. Then didn't know what tequilas they had at that price point so we say Don Julio? Herradura? Does that work? She says sure. I'll skip to the end where they were an up charge that she didn't mention. They were $20 each on the bill, lol. After all that. Margaritas were pretty good when they finally came. We order queso while we enjoyed outside and while that took 20 minutes...ok we're usually chill so no problem. We flag him down and order four cucumber cooler things -again, from the menu. We finish our queso and drinks. No waiter. No drinks. After ANOTHER 20 minutes, I finally go up to the bar and three bartenders are there chatting but not making drinks but I also don't see four cucumber drinks ready to be picked up. I ask if they know if they've been put in. She doesn't know but will check. She disappears. Another 10 minutes and the waiter finally comes out and ASKS IF WE STILL WANT THEM. Hadn't even been started. I'm so pissed. No. No we don't and we're headed somewhere else now because this was the absolutely worst experience we've had in a while. This place is made for people who order Coors Lights and nothing more. read more
