Directly behind the Limestone Village shopping complex is this massive place. Huge game room/arcade complex is upstairs and the restaurant on the bottom floor. The service & food was MUCH better than the reviews on this platform stated. Drinks: water (nice & cold) and the Jellyfish ale, Food: we shared the MASSIVE nacho platter w/beef chorizo which we didn't finish - it was too much for us both and it tasted Great! The size of the serving platter will utterly astound you so be ready for a stuffed gut! We both ordered the Baha chicken wraps & fries; we had to take these home with us and consumed them the next night: best wraps I've had served from any establishment and this was a day after we purchased them. My wife and I stopped by, at her recommendation, for a "Sunday/Funday" brunch. We had tried several months earlier, but the wait time was outrageous. Now, I understand why. We did the mimosa kit for drinks and had some delicious bone-in wings and pizza rolls. The atmosphere, the food and drinks were all amazing !!! We had the buffalo cauliflower wings which were perfectly breaded, sauce comes on the side keeping the perfect crisp on the cauliflower. The buffalo sauce was mild and ranch/buffalo both had a great flavor. the herbavore pizza could have used more pesto but otherwise it was good, I like the thin crust and added a side of ranch for dipping. the margarita with champagne was okay, wouldn't order it again - maybe it was just the tequila that was used but this wasn't a great margarita in my opinion. My espresso martini was good however last time I had one here, it was more flavorful and a bit more creamy! glad to see items on the menu have changed since first opening and i'll definitely stop back by to try more of the menu. read more

My friends and I came here for dinner and really enjoyed the food. We walked in with no reservation which was nice. Our waiter was nice and the inside atmosphere was inviting. I loved the goat portrait inside. We got the burger, a wrap, a salad and a side of Mac and cheese. The burger was Amazing!!!!! The Mac and cheese was hot and had a lil spice to it. We really enjoyed our time except for the smashing that was going on upstairs. We were told there was an arcade upstairs but turned out to be a bowling alley. With college vibes and the biggest goat mural I have ever seen, come here if you are young and want food both creative and delicious! The banana foster French toast blew me away with the cinnamon cream cheese and caramelized banana sauce. The farmhouse tots were made in-house and had this dish down to a science. The December cocktail cookies & cream was delicious for creamy alcohol lovers. I gave it 4 stars because the biscuit boards biscuits was a bit dense and dry but their spice cheese dip was fantastic. My Fiance and I went to the Goat for the 2nd time a few Fridays ago for happy hour. They had specials on mules and margaritas so we tried a few different flavors of mules and they were all good. The highlight of the trip was the hot chicken dip. So much flavor with nice spice and it was so good, we wondered what all was in it. We sat at the bar and got good service. Being in this area all the time and never heard of this place! Tried for the first time with my kids and definitely will be back! Clean, fancy and pleasant inside. Staff is friendly and nice. Food is tasty and coffee is great! Exceptional service. We did mot get to play on the second floor, now next time. Our waitress was Tara and she was super professional and prompt. One note to the management: you may adjust prices, menu was saying extra $2 for pepperoni to add to the pizza, but it rang up as $3. Just a suggestion. Granola bowl was gone quickly, no photo, but it was not too sweet and my toddler loved it. I will go back, and would recommend too! My son is already planning next visit. I have been here a couple of times and every single time has been a great experience which is confusing to see the bad reviews. Anyhow great place with great lighting, and friendly staff. Today in particular they were busy for their brunch menu and they were very accommodating to us, because first we opted to sit outside then changed our mind since it was too chilly. They even offered to turn on the heat lamps. All the meals I've had here so far have been delicious from burgers to the chicken and waffles. We still haven't checked out their amenities, but it's a nice touch. I don't think any other restaurants offer something like this in the Pflugerville area. Must try their biscuits! read more

I screamed and shouted to get someone's attention and finally I was let into the backyard of Hanovers Draught Haus. I went to the truck and gave my name. The Goat is a multipurpose space, a restaurant, a bar, a game room, coffee bar, a pool and two volleyball courts. Upstairs, you'll find the game room, photo booth, a bar with several craft beers on tap and even a karaoke room. Downstairs is the bar and restaurant which can get quite noisy due to the acoustics. However, the thing that had us walking out instead of dining in was their limited menu, and the fact that there is nobody to greet you at the door, seat you or explain anything. It was like arriving at a private club and we stood out as non-members. I give them a lot of credit for all the amenities they offer here, but there's nothing here that would have me coming back unless I had kids. Plenty of photos and videos for more insight. read more

From the moment we walked in, we had great service. From seating to table to food recommendations, we were set. We showed up during happy hour and it was no mystery, our waiter made sure we were aware. $5 house margs and house mules, both Kentucky and Moscow. $2 off App's and Burgers $1 off Beer and Local Cans We started with the app trio...a decision nightmare of pic 3 when you want to try it all... Pickle Chips, Pizza Rolls and Buffalo Cauliflower made the cut. Great portions, great flavor. Colin told us the cauliflower was originally only a Super Bowl special, but on the menu based off all the feedback and requests. You ever get a pizza delivered and it took a little too long, and it's not fresh hot? Well the pizza rolls' dough was amazing, so crispy. The cheese was still stringy...but it was barely warm enough. Like a frozen hot pocket a little more that 3/4 ready to eat. The cauliflower was lightly breaded and so good dipped into their buffalo sauce. Fried pickles also lightly breaded...all good but not winning any awards. Our table was situated near the bar area...the bartenders were rocking it! From drink order to drink to bar patrons and all with a smile... no stress found here... there vibe matched the ambiance We honored the happy hour special with the NashVegas Burger. Consisting of pimento cheese, bacon, onion straws, whiskey sauce, on a brioche bun. We also had the Burger of the Month, Hawaiian burger. We savored the Tropical flavors of bacon and pineapple, with baby spinach. The patties were well seasoned BUT.....when you ask for pink in the middle and get grey... and it's not overcooked.... Hmmmm... ***I'm not hyper sensitive but I've grilled enough to recognize the flavor....when I've let hamburger meat turn from pink to grey and grilled it anyway... the burger patties had that not so fresh taste.*** the consistency said loose and pink in the middle but the visual was gray with the taste to match. **** I feel like the vision of this place doesn't make it to the plate. First time here and had a wonderful experience. We got the Nash vegas burger and the feta burger and then chips and queso. Loved the cheese for the queso. Burgers were great. My friend and I checked this place out after doing yoga at the pool behind it and enjoying a mimosa provided by the restaurant. The restaurant is open and inviting with a nice brunch menu. We sat at the bar, and received excellent service. We ordered the biscuit platter to share, and their biscuits are amazing! So light, fluffy, and huge! We each just ate one, and I took the third home to my teenager. The biscuits are served with honey (always good), fresh house made strawberry preserves (yum!), and spicy pimento cheese spread (yum and heat!). We tried all of them. I had a great visit to the Goat! We arrived on a Saturday around 8:45 and were seated immediately as a party of 4. Our server took a while to greet us but they were busy in there and it gave us time to look at the menu to decide what we want. The interior of the restaurant was nice and new but it was a bit loud since they have games upstairs and one of them is duck pin bowling. I do not recommend the espresso martini here, I have absolutely had better elsewhere. I do recommend the Blueberry Mule though because it was tasty! We then got our trio appetizer and it was a big hit! Our group of 4 demolished it in no time at all! Once the entrees came we were all silently eating for a good period of time. My friend and I shared the special which was a delicious smash burger with fries. They split it for us and brought it with sweet potato fries when we requested regular. The guys got the wings one dry rub and the other sauced and said they will get them again. Needless to say we ate everything and it was perfect! I want to try their dessert. Stopped by on a Saturday night. The place was pretty busy, but no wait. They have a bunch of TVs in all directions with loud games going on on the second floor. Service was great and the food is in the realm of elevated bar food. We started with the Drunken Shrimp. The shrimp was fried well and the sauce was pretty good and slightly sour. I ordered the Smokehouse burger with regular fries. The burger was delicious. The patty was cooked well and I loved the crunch from the crispy bacon. Their BBQ sauce was fantastic; sweet and addicting. The fries were okay and not very crispy. Will maybe try the taste tots next time. The All American was only okay. My phone died the night I was supposed to have dinner with a friend, so we agreed to go back to a place we'd been before, that would be easy for me to find without GPS. This time around, our experience at The Goat was just ok. It struck me that it was trying to be overidealized "Austin Hipster" in Pflugerville. The food was the best part of the experience, other than catching up with my friend. I'd say it earned 4 stars - good but not outstanding. I ordered the pizza rolls again, and I'd order them again if I ever come back here. We also ordered the hot chicken dip, which was good but too spicy for me, even after putting the hot oil on the side. (It was nice they were able to fulfill that request!) One other detail I liked was that we were given real silverware and fabric napkins. Medium-casual dining is in such decline we can't even take this for granted any more. Unfortunately the place was just so loud and cold I couldn't fully enjoy myself. Not only was there normal noise from talking, but the games upstairs were loud. It's cool they had those games, and noise is to be expected, but they did not design this place with good acoustics. It could be a lot quieter if everything wasn't glass and steel. Service wasn't great either. I assume our server was doing her best, and busy on a Saturday night, but if I'm paying for service, I'd like service. At least we were given a full water pitcher on our table so we didn't run out of water. After our meal, we waited so long to wait for the check, we joked that they must not want us to pay. Of course we did, but... I found it very tacky that employees let some pre-teen boys come in and walk around selling candy for some fundraiser. If I'm out to relax, I don't want to be pestered. Plus, who's buying candy two days after Halloween?! If I need a mid-point to meet up with friends who live North, I may come back to The Goat, but it's not at the top of my list. read more

Food quality has gone down while prices have increased. They used to allow you to swap out fries for sweet potato fries with no additional charge. I always get a buffalo ranch wrap and the last couple of times I've been there since prices increased they skimp on the chicken. My husband used to get a BBQ burger that had 2 patties it's no longer part of the menu. They're always short staffed, people are always uncomfortably looking around for their servers to try to ask for something (water, drinks, check etc.) I used to frequent the place to weekly but after 2 not so great experiences and food quality diminishing I won't be back. read more

Great service, great food, great prices, great atmosphere! I've come here plenty of times and I've never had a bad experience! I've come during football games, to work, Sunday brunch and to vibe on random days; 10/10 experience each time. The servers are always so sweet and attentive. Some of my favorite dishes are the biscuit with strawberry preserves, brunch board, Devil on Goatback, Buffalo wrap, hen house tacos. The mimosa kit, cucumber Fresca with tequila and the Riesling are my favorite adult beverages. The coffe is also good - americano and salted caramel cold foam brew I've never had a bad experience and I've been about 10 times since they opened. Good afternoon, fellow yelpers and foodies! We were heading to Pflugerville for my 16 month old son's first haircut and needed a place to eat for lunch. When I tell you right now, this place did not disappoint. When we first walked in the ambience of the restaurant was absolutely perfect . Full SERVICE bar with multiple seating areas as well as tables.. I think this is connected to a townhome complex or condo complex however, right out the back of the bar area is a full pool where you and your guest can hang out for $25 a day. Unfortunately, you can't bring your own drinks for food, but who cares because the food and drinks here are fantastic.. We walked in around 12:15 and waited a few minutes at the front door completely understandable as it is lunch. I've also worked in the service industry for 15 years and know how it is when your short staffed and or limited staff due to business. We were sat within about seven minutes and when we sat our service changed everything. Shame on me for not remembering the ladies name who waited on us, but when I tell you, she was fantastic is an understatement . She had a wonderful recommendations whether it be food or drink. You can most certainly tell she loves her job as she explains all the dishes and drinks with passion and intent.. I got a couple alcoholic beverages just to try My WIFE-being three months pregnant obviously couldn't partake so I drank enough for her as well! I had the chai coffee and I wanna say I had the mule. I can't remember the flavor but when I tell you, both of them hit the spot. For the food, we started with a pizza log or pizza roll half order and it was everything you wanted it to be to start your meal off right !! My father-in-law ordered the all American bacon cheeseburger as he is just a plain Jane, but he said that this was one of the best burgers he has ever had from flavor profile to the temperature it was cooked . My wife ordered the loaded tots and added pulled pork. This dish is nothing you would expect it to be.! These were the largest tater tots. I have ever seen stuff with potatoes and cheese, and everything about the dish prepared perfectly. We got our son a side of mac & cheese and he absolutely murdered it from the crispy exterior to the cheesy delicious goodness in the middle a perfect dish for my son. I ordered the Birria Tacos... I am a snob for Birria and I ordered these anywhere I go no matter what else is on the menu. However, I am not gonna say that these weren't good but they were definitely different. I guess I'm just used to the amounts of cilantro and onion or pickled red onion or the different versions of consumé. These were not bad, but like I said something I'm not used to. We elected not to get dessert as we were completely stuffed from the appetizers as well as the food. Ask for the overall experience a 9.9 out of 10 and the only reason why it's a 9.9 is because I wasn't a fan of my tacos, but everything else was out of this world. We will most certainly be back as the menu is so eclectic and gives a wide variety of food options so I most certainly want to try 12 more things. Thank you for a great lunch. We weren't too sure what this place was about, so we stopped cause.We just saw that it was called the goat. When we first came in, it was super busy, so we were like, okay, this place has to be good. It's actually part of an apartment complex that has apartment units and has a pool has a little arcade as a breakfast spot has a dinner spot actually a really cool place. You can actually even rent the pool if you don't live on the complex. My wife and I had a burger, and it's happy hour from 3 PM to 6 PM. We came in at five forty five, and because they're so busy.It took us a little bit longer to order.But we ordered like five minutes after six, and the server was kind.Enough to still give us the great for the happy hour on the burgers. I would say this place is a fun little spot to stop by if you want to watch some basketball.I have a few dreams.Have some breakfast.Maybe take a swim or maybe even play some arcade games. As for the drinks, your enjoyment will largely depend on your personal preferences. I ordered the walnut Old Fashioned and, unfortunately, found it lacking. It didn't live up to the standard Old Fashioned experience I'm used to. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Regarding the shareable nachos, the cheese was served cold and needed a bit more kick. We asked for some jalapeños, which the waiter promptly provided, and they gave the nachos the extra spice they needed. Overall, the seasoning and flavors were good. Our burgers were a special that wasn't on the menu, adding a nice surprise element to our meal. The ambiance here is a major plus, giving off cool, modern vibes. The space is open and inviting, and they even have an espresso bar with pastries. Upstairs, there's a bowling alley, and out back, a swimming pool--definitely not your typical bar setup! Good morning cousins, so my Forever said let's go find something to eat. I remember driving around the other day and finding this location - however I was looking for a different store and found The Goat! When we got in, we were seat it right away, the game was on, and everybody was having a great conversation. It was a beautiful day to go out and eat, and it was not super crowded but the lobby was full of great smells and fresh coffee. With both of us watching what we eat, we are not able to even finish our food. It was quite tasty and amazing. I wanted some jelly with my toes and they brought out the fresh strawberry jam. There is nothing like fresh eggs being provided to you and I feel like they have chickens in the back somewhere however, they did have a swimming pool looked quite delightful. The swimming pool is part of the community, however, you can actually pay a fee to hang out at their pool and swim in it all day. Location does have an option of coming for brunch, but they do also have a lunch and dinner menu to select from. Because the service was so efficient and the items that we ordered were freshly scratched and made for us, I would definitely encourage you to come here.
