Upon returning, she rang me up for %150 of the original price, due to the watch being "more difficult than anticipated" (I was still out of the store in less than 8 minutes). She did not let me know at any point they were going to change the service required and add on the watch specialist charge. Had that been communicated, I would have gone to Robert Goodman, another local Zionsville Jewler, who resizes free of charge (highly reccomend him). Althought it was still relatively inexpensive, it was a breach of our contract and there was a lack of communication on their side. Which shouldn't happen at all. Furthermore, the staff lost a piece of my watch during the resizing (one of my pins) and had kept that information from me, until I spoke up after receving the watch back. Although again, it was a relatively small piece, the principal and integrity of the matter still should be held in high regard, even with the little things. After all this happened I asked them to honor the original price and was met with a no. Their other reviews are stellar, I just wish I was met with that same standard today, but unfortunately I was not. Just stopped in here to look at wedding bands and had a very poor experience. My partner and I have…read morebeen together for a very long time, but haven't legally tied the knot. We bought my engagement ring here in 2022 and have contemplated where to get our wedding bands from. When I stopped in here last Saturday to have my engagement ring cleaned, a staff member told me they were having out of town designers fly in this weekend for a big sale and to come back and have drinks and hors d'oeuvres. We both work Monday-Friday and were already busy on Saturday, so I asked if they would be open on Sunday for the event. She said they would be open 12-5. We decided we would get brunch in Castleton and then pop over to look at weddings bands today. The older woman who is always at the front door greeted us and we went to peruse the wedding bands at the back of the store. Not one other employee greeted us, asked if we wanted to look at anything, if we needed help with anything, etc. There was no additional stock or outside designers there today like I was told last week, so I guess they only came in for Friday/Saturday. Which is frustrating since I expressed that we would only be able to come in on Sunday and she didn't mention anything about them not being here today. We looked through all of the wedding bands we have already seen before and had to keep stepping around staff members who were blocking display cases while having personal conversations (not anything to do with jewelry). At one point, several men started yelling and jumping up and down because they had the Colts playing on the TV. Super weird vibes for a jewelry store. The last straw was when a woman who was sitting inside of the wedding bands area, but again never even greeted us, asked another staff member if he wanted something and he came over and sat his soda down on the display case we were actively looking at and then leaned back on it and started blocking it. We promptly decided to leave since we weren't being acknowledged. We previously had a very bad experience with a customer service staff member when we came in to have an antique tanzanite ring resized and appraised that had been gifted to me by my great-grandmother. After today, we are just going to only come here for maintenance/warranty needs on my engagement ring and look elsewhere for wedding bands.
