Service is always attentive, but not pesty. Burgers on the menu are always a great casual lunch or dinner. The 007 burger is my favorite. The specials rotate regularly so if you want something different that option is available too. This visit they had a mascarpone ravioli with scallops, spinach, sundried tomatoes, and lobster-butter sauce. Outside seating is a winner with umbrellas for the summer and propane burners for winter. This place has a lot of variety for whatever mood you are in.

The service was already terrible when we were told to sit down wherever and then this guy comes out of nowhere and sits us down at a terrible spot, and keeps coming back to asks questions even when we ordered steak he came back to ask what temperature which is very odd because it's normally asked when you order THE steak. Ambiance is okay very simple and bland, could be more vibrant.

I was really looking forward to trying the oysters, but I didn't realize their menu changes often so unfortunately, no oysters this time. A little sad about that! We decided to order pretty much everything off the à la carte menu. Overall, the food was just okay to me. The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. The mushrooms, though, were absolutely BOMB! If I didn't know what it was, I would've thought it was some sort of meat dish super soft, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely the highlight of the meal. The Wagyu, on the other hand, was a big disappointment. For the price, it was tough and chewy when it should've been buttery and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Overall, the place is cute and the vibes are nice, but the food was overpriced for what it was. I'd only come back for those mushrooms they were that good.

I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol

OUR SERVER NEVER PUT OUR ORDER OF SHORT RIBS IN. after abt an hr and no short ribs i asked where it was and waddayaknow our server made a mistake and never put it in. at that point i was so fed up me and my coworker just left. HOLY HELL that was a mouthful. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Seriously, you walk in and it's like a warm hug from a cloud wearing a fancy hat. You just know good things are about to happen. My mission? Speedy sustenance! So, naturally, I zeroed in on the unsung hero of the snack world: French Fries! And let me tell you, Sweetsong's fries are doing the Lord's work. Fresh? Check. Crispy? Oh honey, they were practically crackling with deliciousness! Each bite was a perfect little golden crunch of potato perfection. Seriously, forget your troubles, just grab a handful of these bad boys. Now, you know I'm all about the experience, so a stellar snack deserves an equally dazzling drink. Enter "Just Peachy." This isn't your grandma's sweet tea, folks. This is a symphony in a glass! Elderflower whispering sweet nothings, zesty lemon doing a little tango, spiced tea adding a touch of intrigue, all topped off with delightful little bubbles that tickled my nose and made my tastebuds sing! Non-alcoholic drinks are officially my jam if they all taste THIS good. Move over, boring beverages! BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! (Insert dramatic pause and a spotlight effect in your mind). My eyes did a little happy dance when they landed on the LEMON CHESS PIE! Let's break this down, shall we? A ginger crust that promises a little spicy kick? YES. A classic lemon pie filling that's tart and tangy and everything right in the world? DOUBLE YES. Then they hit you with the lychee gel - a little burst of exotic sweetness that's like a mini-vacation for your mouth. And the pièce de résistance? A delicate, crispy Coconut Tuile perched on top like a tiny, elegant crown. Y'ALL. This dessert was like they reached into my brain, grabbed all my favorite flavors, and mashed them together in the most glorious way possible. How could a human being with a soul say no to THAT lineup? It was a culinary "meet cute" of epic proportions. I sadly missed the grand opening festivities last year (life, you know?), but mark my words, Westin Gwinnett! I will be back. And it won't be a fleeting visit. This property has officially stolen a little piece of my heart (and my stomach!). The ambiance is truly something special, and the tastes? Oh. Em. Gee. If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and make a pit stop at Sweetsong. Your tastebuds will thank you, and your soul will feel just a little bit brighter. #ashsaidit #WestinGwinnett #Sweetsong #AtlantaFoodie #GwinnettEats

Everything was outstanding, especially the egg. No wonder this is Michelin recommended! We then met chef Jared and he is amazing. The care and craft he puts in to his food makes sense hearing his stories, especially that he serves the art community with specialized food to match the art on display; what a cool concept! He even assisted us in buying a piece on display from a local artist. As yes, they have local art up on display - a great idea for a restaurant! Note for parking: use the valet. At first there was a mix up with who was serving us do we got explained the drink menu twice. After our appetizer, we waited about 30-40 minutes for the rest of our items which took longer than we thought. They did give us some house made popcorn to keep us busy. Jahjoy pork belly: Tasty & tendor. I loved the papaya salad which left a refreshing contrast. A bit too saucy for me. Flavors were strong. Squid ink bucatini: our favorite! Must get dish - bucatini is perfectly al dente & the spicy sauce was very flavorful. Jumbo shrimp was delicious, and the anchovy on top left a nice strong flavor. Red snapper: This has some Vietnamese influences with the sauce. It was a lighter dish which was just OK for me, I would have liked the fish to have a crispier skin. Not much flavor besides the sauce which is inspired by canh chua. Wagyu flank steak: cooked to perfection and flavored well, loved the celery puree which was much tastier than we expected celery to be. Dessert was mint chocolate cake which was very tasty. I wish the cake was softer and meltier in the center but it was still good. Malt gelato was delicious. Could def taste the mintiness. Creme pat along the edges was a nice add to the cake with cacao nibs and popcorn for a textural contrast. I enjoyed it!! Overall we had a great meal and could tell the ingredients were very fresh. The presentation for all the dishes was beautiful!! We can tell the chef puts care in his food :) Appreciated the personal touch - they gave a handwritten card to my husband for his birthday!
