    The Southampton with pasta

The heart of the Hamptons for both breakfast and lunch. The service is always on point. Although there can sometimes be a long wait, it is well worth it. I got the specialty sandwich #1 "The Southampton". The Turkey and Brie combo with honey mustard was really good. The ambiance screams hamptons vibes. They always have a large selection of flavored coffees including flavors decaf coffees to choose from. If you have never been to the hamptons. This place is a must for all. If you haven't been to the Golden Pear, you haven't been to the hamptons.

I think the Bridgehampton location of the Golden Pear is good for what it is. It's one of the cheapest meals in the area and great for lunch. I placed an order online for pick up and it was ready at the promised time and waiting on a set of shelves by the front door. Our food was still warm by the time I picked it up. There is a little parking lot just to the right of the shop which makes picking up orders really easy. They have a few tables set up outside which seem to be on a first come, first served basis. I had the scrambled eggs and cheddar sandwich on a croissant. The sandwich itself was solid and the fruit that came on the side were all fresh. My husband had the spa burrito and enjoyed it. This is by no means a fancy place, it's a step up from a basic diner and it gets the job done.

$20 for a small piece of quiche and some pieces of melon. I know we're In the Hamptons but Sorry but that's a ripoff. Ps: they should give a salt packet with that because it has no flavor

The Golden Pear has locations in many of the main towns in The Hamptons. They are a cafe that aspires to be above a deli, is on main streets, with good sized stores, easy take out and always some tables for sitting. They are ready to make you an espresso coffee or you can choose from a variety of teas. Even off season, as my most recent visit in January, in Bridgehampton they had hot food and it was all fresh. I tried the mac & cheese and meatloaf. I didn't like the soft bit too tangy salty//carroty/tomatoey- lol- flavor of the latter but it was fresh and I would happily try other things here. They have a good oversized chocolate chip cooke! and they had some fresh blueberry baked cake of sorts when I was there.. tried both. Go for the cookie. And the hot tea. They didn't wow me as much as relieve me that they were there for good quick takeout. They certainly try to put out a variety of fresh baked items for people coming in for coffee or tea. Very nice to have that too.

This is easily the best café on Long Island. The service is great, the food is excellent. Great for everything from lunch with a large group to a quick stop for a snack. I could not recommend it more hoghly. The have a range of food, so there's something for everyone. The croissants are excellent, escpecially the chocolate ones. They even have great vegetarian options, is spite of the distinctly tex-mex vibe. I don't see many people trying the smoothies, but you should because they're delicious.

Prices for the menu at the Golden Pear this summer 2017 - the hedge fund omlette is well named as you need a fund to afford this !!!!
    Jeffrey B.

The prices are going up, up, up but it remains a staple for the summer... TIP: register your cell phone for text updates and when you purchase give the number - you will get a text giving you a $1 discount on your next visit... every little helps This 2017 the Golden Pear in Southampton has removed all prices from its menu boards on the wall. Thankfully other outlets have the priced menu still available.

Im a big fan of the food here. If it wasn't for the fact that its priced very hamptons, id give it a 5 star. ($13 for a sandwich is steep)

This place not only sucks it super sucks. Worst experience with the staff. No one there knows that…read morethey are doing. We were seated the. Told hald the things on the menu we wanted either were not there or they told us to go out back to the outhoise which was a bkery. Upon entry to the bakery we were told the place know for baguettes was out of baguettes! So i ordered a ham and cheese on sour dough. They told me no and only had prosciutto and cheese bouquets. I thought you were out of bougettes. They barely spoke english. Did not understand my order and was charged for something i did not ask for and because they didnt know how to operate the machine machines they told me they would trade the wrong order for two extra sandwiches, which is what I had ordered to begin with that they told me they were out of. Then after waiting 15 minutes, I was approached by a gentleman who came outside and said we can only give you one of the sandwiches. And that I would have to pay an additional $16 after paying $54 for two croissants. Seriously you can go kick rocks. You're serious with shit from the beginning and not only me, but the customers in front of me had issues and the customers behind me also had issues. I don't know if this place opened up yesterday but they need a serious course and how to treat customers and how to work your system once again this place is super sucks. They could shove their baguettes up there. You know what
