Customer Service skills with the crew was great everyone helpful but expect for their manager Don which killed my mood instantly..likes to talk down to u like u don't know anything...even tho he couldn't even do his job as simple as glueing on my brand new driver head to a brand new shaft I bought through them. After he did it, it had glue all over the adapter and ferrel and looked like shit ,he had nothing to say about it ..so anyways when I first got out to swing It(2 days later)on the course, #1 tee box the head flew off and went about 60-70 yards. Like I said brand new everything!!! Luckily the driver head didn't get to beat up but still got blemishes so now it looks used.. so when I went back in to get it reattached guess who helped me again?.. Don and he had nothing to say about it was more my fault then his in his eyes! Haven't been out yet fingers crossed it's solid this time!! But when I picked it up the second time theres now glue all over my brand new head cover!! How in the Hell do u do that!!! Guess my brand new driver is used already even before I can get 1 hole out of it!! A case of TP5's would of been nice but no Just blew me off like I was a nobody!! Don't recommend this store ,the San Rafael store is way better!! But if you do go to this store Tanner's your man! read more

My recent experience at Golf Mart left me with buyers remorse. I came in looking for a new putter and after much deliberation I decided to buy a more expensive Scotty Cameron putter as I liked it the best. While the selection was great, the staff was friendly and it was fun to try so many putters, my buying experience left me feeling a bit cheated. At the register, the staff member said he would find a head cover for me, which I wasn't expecting. After going through several boxes, he found a box of Scotty Cameron head covers! At that point, he was approached by other staff member and a manager and was told not to give me a head cover because it was not guaranteed. I accept that it was not guaranteed, and I wasn't expecting one. For the very reason I watched them pull a box of head covers out and was told you don't get one, I walked a way with my new expensive Scotty Cameron putter unhappy. This was a situation where the staff could have made my purchase better then I expected, and wanting to come back, instead I walked away questioning my purchase and not wanting to go back. read more

I'm very impressed with the Golf Mart's RP location. After years of shopping at their Seaside store, I'm pleased to say that every representative I've spoken to has been cordial, cooperative, and willing to go out of their way to help me out. They have the best "buy it and try it" gaurentee in all of golf, and they are always well stocked with new clubs in all varieties (although their left-handed section is lacking like 9/10 brick and mortar golf stores). As a left handed golfer, it is often hard to get fit for new clubs -- hitting booths are normally set up to track a right-handed golfer's swing and I've been to many stores where they "don't have the right cord," or where they were too lazy to switch it to a lefty setup. Not here! Every time I've been interested in buying or upgrading, they have accommodated my lefty-needs and fit me with great expertise and precision. I ordered a driver and fairway wood from them and during checkout there was an issue with a manufacturer's promotion that was misleading and poorly written. Golf Mart did everything they could to sort out the issue and kept in touch with me while the issue was sorted out. Thanks to their amazing service the whole thing was solved in a fast and friendly manner. As long as I'm in town, the Golf Mart will be my go-to for everything golf. read more

This place dominates the retail golf world because of their 90 day play and return policy. They let people play and see how the clubs fit and hit, and use store credit to find the perfect club. Only negative is the store is littered with "golf guys" Me: "so yeah, i need a driver for my five foot seven build and slower swing speed." Golf guy: "well then you need my six foot two frame and amazing good looks, that would definitely help you. since we cant do that, lets try this..." Me: "wow, yeah nice, i like this big bertha driver..." Golf guy: "yeah man i swing this at like 150 miles per hour and hit it like 400 yards, they gave me one for free at the callaway store because i am god and they bowed to me." What a fantastic experience! This was not my first experience, but now we have sights like this to shout about it. These guy's know how to treat people. I called and asked if they could adjust the weights in my Taylor Made driver, I spoke with Casey and he invited me to come in. Casey watched me hit the driver for a while. We made the determination that no adjustment would be necessary, just a lot of badly needed range time. After hitting three other drivers we found it, my next driver! During this painful process he never wavered and we also got input from others,so patient and helpful , I was so impressed. I then asked about a new wedge he showed me three and recommended the Callaway PM MackDaddy, I bought it, honestly at this point I would have bought a rock tied to a stick from these guy's ! I will be working on my game and I will continue to use The Golf Mart. Whatever your skill level this is the place to go for Golf. read more

Golf Mart is the only place I will buy golf equipment. They have a huge selection of both new and used clubs. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and accessible. I had a great experience there when buying my iron set, and another great experience more recently when buying a golf bag. I actually ended up buying two bags the deal was so good; travel bag and cart bag. They were completely accommodating when I asked to use a coupon on top of a price match. I walked out of there felling like I stole from them, so figured the least I could do was write a good yelp! To top it all off they have a no questions asked 90 day return policy... Whaaat?! Great staff that is really helpful and know their stuff. I had no idea how helpful their swing monitor would be for helping me to select the right clubs. Last week I went in to have my clubs re- gripped and with their amazing deals I walked out with a set that already had the grips I wanted. You can purchase clubs with confidence with the 90 day return at Golf Mart. Purchased the new 2016 XR Pro 3 wood 14 degree stiff Speedster shaft. The data looked great and proceeded to the range and I hit 6 balls and wanted more ball flight and returned the club without any questions. Ordered a 16 degree and it is sweet as Tennessee Ice Tea. The sales staff is always very professional and attentive. No question is to low below them or above them. This is what separates them from the other shops. They will listen and spend time to help you with your golfing needs. Never pushing product but finding your need and offering solutions. Hands down, The Golf Mart is the best place to buy golf equipment in Sonoma County. Their ninety day return policy is not the only thing that sets them apart. The staff knows golf, and has done a great job fitting the right clubs for my game. I have had to take a club or two back after using it for some rounds in playing conditions, and the exchange policy kicks in so I can replace the club with one that works better for me on the golf course. The store has everything you'll need, and if they have to order it, the staff is very prompt with getting back to you when it comes in. Don't waste your time going anyplace else. Go to The Golf Mart. Broke the shaft on a new driver that I ordered with credit card points. Had no idea how to get it taken care of. Stopped in for advice and showed the receipt from the credit card company to prove the club was new. It was a club they carried and after a quick inspection they handed me a new club.
