First time visiting last month. Stopped in to get a new grip on a recently purchased second hand putter. The staff was friendly and quick to assist me picking out a new grip, as they had several options in their selection. It took approximately 5-10 minutes to remove the old and install the new. The place was clean and nicely decorated. They have many different options for entertainment. Now I know they have a batting cage, I'll be back to smack some frozen ropes to let off some steam...when my team loses! Also, would like to check out their driving range and mini-golf with my wife. This place has plenty of options, so I'll have to make many more returns...looking forward to it! read more

-Review for the driving range only- This driving range is great! There's two levels where you can play. I've heard there are heated sections but have not tried them yet. Grass is maintained well and large targets where you can see how far you're hitting. Prices are pretty reasonable, in my opinion. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. read more

I've been going to this place for the driving range for about a year. The bays are nice and heated for when it's cold. I get lessons here from Gary Danback who is fantastic. My one complaint is that if your website says you close at 9 why am I getting turned away at 7:30? I was told by the person working there that they turned the ball machines off at 7 because they always turn them off ab hour before they close. But your website says 9pm. on top of that, a week before I came at the same time and was able to hit balls for an hour. this is my go to winter range as the one by my house closes during the winter. I would rather not have to find a new range, please update your website. read more

Great mini golf course. There are actually 2 course options to choose from. At the time of this review one of the courses was closed for maintenance. The course i played this round was the one on the left and was very impressed by the overall design and upkeep of the course. There are small ponds and streams throughout the course as well as a large amount of foliage. This course is challenging enough to keep the 'pros happy and inviting enough for the kids. Besides the mini golf there is a driving range, paint ball area and batting cages. Inside they have a large pro shop offering all kinds of golfing gear. They also have a staff of golf pros available if you want to improve yourself on the driving range. read more

We come here because one of my friends will only play at this mini golf course. If your expecting windmills and animals think again. As another friend put it, this is just a miniature golf course, not mini golf. With that said its fairly well maintained, there are 38 holes, Its 8 bucks for 18, and 10 for 36. Before you decide on 36 stop and thing how many holes that really is. I was excited we did 36 holes the last time i went until i got to the 14th hole, then i realized we had 24 more to play and i wasn't as excited anymore. It will definitely take you 2+ hours to complete everything if your trying. but 10 bucks for 36 holes is a fantastic deal. read more

This review is for the driving range. It was fine. It is a covered tee box so that's nice in bad weather. Looks like they may be heated too which would be convenient in off season. It was a little tough to decipher the distance of the pins. There is a map on the wall but it doesn't really match all the pins in the range. It needs to be updated for sure. They should really just add distance signs to the range and get rid of the map altogether. read more

This place is incredibly run down. It is in a great location and it really wouldn't take much to make it a hot spot. The mini golf is nothing fancy but it is in disrepair. There was no water in any of the water features. No landscaping. Generally everything was falling apart. It would be nice if they fixed everything up and added a snack bar to give you a reason to stay a little longer. Could be a great spot for date night or a little family outing. Went here for a nice game of mini golf. The course seemed like it was shut off for the season. None of the water was running and what water was left collected in the pools. It was an awful site. There were leaves all over the course and collected all along the sides of the courses which caused our balls to be deflected in weird ways. The holes were not numbered so we never new which hole we were on and had to go by memory to figure out who went first. The course was very simple and not challenging at all for adults like us. Even the 2 air hockey tables and few arcade games they had inside we all powered down. All in all this might be a great park for young kids in the summer when the course is running at its peak and the owner cares about it. I wouldn't go back, there's better, more challenging courses in the area. read more

The mini golf is pure awful. It's $8 for 9 holes, so a little pricey for this area. However, I went at night and there was barely any lights. It was impossible to hit the ball due to the darkness. It's also so rundown and crappy. The bricks are broken and will top over if you touch them, the gates to lean on aren't sturdy, and the small ponds they have are filthy. Went here to drive some balls. $10.75 for a large bucket! You go outside type your special code in the machine and all you balls fall out. Grab your club and than practice practice practice! They have a nice little area inside where you can practicing putting a gold ball if you are purchasing new clubs. The mini golf is not the typical fun themed party in a bag type. THE GOLF TWILIGHT ZONE It's shocking how run down and neglected this place is. It's dirty and it's obvious that the owner is just milking it for whatever he can, without putting a nickel back into it. It has potential but not under the current ownership and management. I have been coming here for years to bang out a bucket of balls. In recent years, the range balls are so old and overused that they fly funny and often do loop-de-loops before nose-diving into the dusty turf. I told the kid behind the counter about the defective balls. He said that he already knew that but offered no explanation or concern. This review is for The Entire Facility & Everything they offer. While I have read every single review and have been a regular customer here for several years, I can tell you these reviews are incredibly over critical, not to mention incorrect information. Maybe try supporting the facility instead of bashing it based 1 criteria out of 5+. I can't imagine the effort needed to keep 25 acres in as good of shape as it is. Driving Range: Distance sheets are spot on and in my opinion a better way to do distances as these distances are measured per booth so geometry is accounted for. If you think a pole that says 100 yards is actually accurate to every booth go back to highschool math class. Ball quality is the best in the area. Stance and hitting mats are changed out seasonally and typically in pretty good shape. However you may run into a missing tee at your booth due to theft; go in and ask for 1 or 2 of their 4 or 5 different sizes. Heaters are excellent in off season. Mini-golf: 36 holes that get better every year. Yes occasionally lights do go down on the course and are fixed. Yes bricks may be loose, mostly from people walking on them or smashing them with putters, but the majority of them are in fine condition. Yes some algae grows in ponds; the pictures posted are of the ponds during maintenance periods. Until the owner listens to the manager and installs pool vacs no amount of chemicals will keep them 100% clean. Would love to see some props out there soon. As for the mud on some of the carpets I am sure its not all 36 holes because I just played the upper course. I can't imagine how long it takes to power wash 1 hole let alone 36. Their website also mentions that this issue is in the process of being cleaned. I would say it's a safe bet that heavy rainfall has something to do with this. Paintball: Always a good birthday idea for teens. Private aspect is great. Pretty standard pricing if not cheaper than most of their competition from what I have seen. Been to 2 parties and have not had any issues with equipment, fields, or referees. Simulator: New and Amazing. Multiple Courses and functions. staff knows how to work it, and always allow FREE demos. Lessons & Fitting: Dan & Gary know their stuff. Go see them if you have any questions about your gear, or what gear works best for you. Batting Cages: Old system with obsolete parts that they do their best to keep running; But what they do have works well for baseball, hi arc softball and low arc softball. Timed sessions are hassle free and a very good value. Proshop : Seasonal sales and pretty standard pricing across the board. No they do not match used ebay prices ... why should they? this is brand new warrantied product. I have personally gotten great deals at The Golf Zone. Downside is no trade-in program. While this is the best mini-golf course option in the area, they've definitely let the maintenance go on this place--missing pavers, poor numbering of holes, dying shrubbery, and poorly functioning water fountains. Could be a potential for Mosquitos with all that standing water. Again, still the best course in the area, but needs some better upkeep, and a soda machine! read more

We came here to use the batting cages. First time went in the evening and we were told they were turned off. Came back the next day and paid the money, go to the cages and not one worked. No attendant, and clearly no maintenance. Told "well they were working yesterday", but they did refund our money. This place could be really nice. They need to invest a little money in upkeep and restoration and perhaps some employees who seem to care. Big disappointment. read more

we used to love going here, however, our last 2 visit were not very good. I think they are letting the mini golf part really fall apart. It was DIRTY and SMELLY. I understand they have to deal with weather elements, but the "greens" were starting to turn brown, the fountains/river were so disgusting and smelled horrible that we rushed past the holes to get away from it. Awesome paintball field ! Half speedball and half rec ball so truly anyone can play no matter what experience level !!! Amazing staff as well ( offered hamburgers hot dogs and watermelon no charge !) My friend and I went to golf zone today because we were so excited to hit some baseballs at the batting cage. Upon arrival, the two boys behind the desk wanted absolutely nothing to do with us, and seemed rather bothered by our request for anything (including baseballs and helmets). Out of the six cages, only one was working, so we killed some time hitting golf balls at the driving range while the few people in front of us hit some baseballs. The entire facility is poorly maintained, and a giant bug bit my friend when we were in the bathroom. When it was our turn at the cage, the machine was slow, and the transition between baseballs and softballs required assistance from the staff (the one boy came out quickly to help us and gave us an extra token). We had a great time because it was a gorgeous day and we weren't too serious about it, but I wouldn't go back which is too bad because there aren't many places like it nearby. read more
