The doctor was not thorough at all. When the session ended and I paid and was about to leave I asked if I could have another body part adjusted. Only then did the doctor adjust two additional areas. Why weren't those adjusted the first time? I shouldn't have had to ask, this should have been a complete session from the start. If he had actually read the intake form, which he clearly did not, he wouldn't have missed crucial areas directly related to the reason for my visit. It felt like the person who asked me questions and the conversation we had about why I was there had nothing to do with the adjustment itself. As for the adjustment it was painful, awkward and careless. Chiropractors I've been to in the past knew how to gauge when I was prepared but this doctor just slammed his entire body onto mine when I wasn't ready. I was left in shock and in pain and I had to ask him to stop and give me a break. He came across as more of a talker than a listener. The setup offered no privacy. The short dividers did nothing. There was a woman with her dog listening and watching the entire time which made me very uncomfortable. On top of that he dismissed my concerns telling me it's all "in my head" because other people are telling me I have issues but I actually don't. Who are these people? Why didn't he have a direct conversation with me instead of making assumptions? read more

Drove 45 minutes and came in for our appoint to get adjusted and go over our X-ray and they said that they had us scheduled for the following Tuesday. But at the time we booked the appointment which was Saturday they just said come in on Tuesday. And we just thought meaning the Tuesday following the Saturday. They didn't even show that they were sorry or even try to fix this misunderstanding given it was 3 of us and the mistake was from their end. I've been going to TGC for over a year now and the staff and Ken Gee have a pleasant demeanor and juggle a constant influx of clients and their demands nonstop- kudos to them for their hard work! However, earlier today was my first visit during the pandemic, and I was quite taken aback to see Ken without a mask, up close & adjusting people. Regardless of his personal views on masks and their efficacy, he should take the extra step and offer extra peace of mind to his customers, especially the elderly and those with prior health conditions. The onus should not be on the customers solely, and when the whole staff is wearing masks aside from the person treating people up close it sends a conflicting message. Once this all blows over I hope to resume getting adjusted by him, but for now I have my personal views and compliance standards and they're not being met by his refusal to wear a mask. It's his business and his rules, and I understand that. When I told the staff I was leaving there was no mention that he would be willing to don a mask for my adjustment, so I guess that isn't an option. For a forward-thinking, attentive and customer service-minded business, I'm surprised by this. read more

The best chiro in town! They are not afraid to actually crack your bones. I have neck, shoulder and neck pain from years of standing on the job and I have seen improvement in my neck. When the doctor cracked my neck I felt relief and tension release on my right shoulder, which tends to freeze up. I highly recommend Dr. Kengee! Four months ago I suddenly started to experience excruciating pain in my neck and shoulder. As a yogi, I thought I took great care of myself with all of the fancy yoga poses from my 15 years of practice (ha!) But I soon learned that my habits (looking down at my MacBook/phone and shoulder stand//plow pose) were contributing to a neck curving the wrong way - hence my pain. Who knew? Dr. Kengee knows!
