This is a local small bar in Downtown Covina. It is a nice spot for a quick drink and some good food. We had their a burger, salad, cucumbers and pork Swearers. The salad was excellent with a delicious thai peanut dressing. It was my favorite. The cucumbers aguachile are on the spicy side. Too much for me. The pork skewers were my husbands favorite. The burger is not your classic burger. It is a bao bun burger with ground beef and pickles. It is really good and worth trying it. Oh yeah, they have beers, cider and wine.

Man! I was really looking forward to trying some of the food that other yelpers posted but their menu completely changed. I was excited to try something different than the usual bar food that the rest of Covina bars offers. I added a pic of the current menu as of 8/5/2025. Hopefully they will bring back some of the items they had a month ago cause those dishes looked really good and different from the other Covina establishments. The service was stellar and the beer was great! I also got the pink lemonade seltzer and it was delicious. Hope they expand the beer menu as time goes on!

I heard that the chili cheese fries here were the best in town so I had to come by. Unfortunately they were out of chili so I just had cheese fries. The cheese fries were pretty good so I'm sure the chili cheese fries would be also. I wanted to love this place because the food was good but it took way too long. The server was really sweet but it literally took us 45 minutes to get our food. We had a toddler and a baby so that was rough keeping our toddler quiet with nothing to bribe her with. Also there was no salsa for the fish tacos other than Tapatio and that's a big NO for me. I'm willing to come back to try the chili cheese fries though.

Called ahead of time because I had my dog with me and I wanted to confirm he was allowed, which he was! Got there and was greeted by the man working (wish I got his name), he provided a menu and let me sit anywhere. I ordered the hot honey wings with a side of Nashville hot sauce and then fries with cheese. For drinks I got their double ipa and I believe my second was a hazy. The dipa came out and I LOVED it, so smooth and tasty. Second came the fries, they unfortunately were cold and the cheese was definitely a slice of sandwich cheese that was sort of? Melted. They were similar to Jack in the box curly fries but cold. Then the wings came out which unfortunately were also cold but the taste was okay. If the food was better the rating would've been too but the service was great and the ambiance of the restaurant was nice, it has a lot of potential if they work on their food quality.

Great food, great beer and an awesome vibe!!! The beer selection is good. Maybe adding a bit more to the beer menu would be great. Overall, we would come back for sure!!! I had the chopped cheese, insanely good. My wife had the chicken sando, also insanely good!!! We'll be coming back for sure

Great new local spot for our family. Casual dining. My son liked the wings (ordered plain not spicy). My husband loved the mochiko chicken bowl and the 2 bun combo was a great value. I had the cucumbers and veggie skewer. Jennifer was our server. She did a great job answering our questions about the menu. The food is Asian inspired. Unique and tasty desserts. We will be back.

Wasn't really sure what to make of this place. Drinks: can't beat $5 8oz beer! A deal! The wine was on the expensive side $15-$17 a pour. Food: I wish they had more description to the small plates (coming from someone with food allergies). I ordered fries but it wasn't on the menu. I think the menu is Asian infusion inspired? However, prices were good. I did enjoy the fried cauliflower. The individual taking our order wasn't familiar with the menu or what came with the food. I get they are new but staff should know the menu. I would come back for a drink. Not so sure for food.

This spot is neat. I like the ambiance and they have great customer service. I tried almost everything on the menu, and all of my selections were super flavorful and fresh. Great date night spot or a quick drink before a show at The Laugh Factory.

Chill vibe, great beer as well as the food! They have a great selection of arrow lodge brews. The food is great and comes with just the right amount. So far the Wagyu rice, kfc wings and Matcha Affogato have all been a 10/10. Great spot day or night to relax with great service.

The vibe was great. Small plates, beer and wine! We had the corn, pork bun, hamburger bun and cauliflower. All items were amazing! Favorites were the corn and the pork bun. They have sour beer!!! And it was actually sour. Service was great. She Made sure to offer refills even tho your order when you walk in. She engaged in conversation and made it feel welcoming.

Hidden gem in Covina -- worth the drive!…read more I've followed this brewery since construction began, and it exceeded every expectation. They've somehow created a campground vibe in the middle of an industrial area -- string lights, fire pits, the whole atmosphere. It doesn't feel like Southern California; it feels like a weekend getaway. The beer selection is excellent, but the seasonal rotation is the real draw. Fall is unbeatable -- grabbing a seasonal brew and sitting by the fire is one of my favorite local experiences. Food-wise, there are plenty of solid options. I usually go for lunch since it's a popular spot in the evenings and gets crowded fast -- go early or midday if you want a relaxed experience. Service has been consistently great. Most of the staff have been here since day one, and they're knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. Every so often one of the brewers will walk the floor and chat about what's on tap -- a nice touch you don't get everywhere. This is easily one of the top destinations in Southern California, tucked away right here in Covina. Highly recommend.

Amazing…read morebeers, delicious food, a cool hybrid restaurant setup, attentive staff with cool uniforms. The place was the sh*t. I've come here several times over the past couple years and it's more and more dead at the restaurant every time. The waitresses are absolutely dreadful. Every request is forgotten or takes 20 mins to arrive at the table. When we arrived we waited 20 mins for a waitress. We asked for some sauce, they forgot. We ordered a pizza, which was delivered to the wrong table. When we wanted to leave, the check took 20 mins as well. Now I have a crying baby and I'm waiting for them to try and split the check two ways and I eventually give up knowing that the task is too much for them to handle and just pay it all on one card. We had to track down the waitresses multiple times. It's like they have NO ability to anticipate the needs of their customers. "They ordered, pizza, maybe I should bring some plates". Nope! "They'll probably want their sauce before the food item is ICE COLD". Nope! Anytime we went into the restaurant the girls were on their phones. There were five tables in the restaurant tonight so there really was no excuse. I think this will be the last time I ever go to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the reputation of the old Congregation Ale House kept me coming back even when time after time, the service was abysmal, however, now that Congregation's former glory is thoroughly tarnished I can honestly say that I will not be coming back and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Quality like this cannot be tolerated. Travis, the former owner, would be ashamed of this fall from grace. R.I.P. Congregation Ale House

The bottomless mimosas ($29.99) sound like a great deal, but just know how they run it. There's a 90-minute minimum, and they don't bring a bottle to the table--you get one mimosa at a time, and you have to finish it before they'll bring another. The first one I got tasted like straight orange juice barely any champagne. I sent it back and to their credit, they remade it much better They mentioned they control pours to keep the environment in check, which I understand--but if you're expecting free-pour vibes, that's not the case here. Food-wise: French toast & breakfast potatoes were really good However the Chilaquiles were super dry and lacked flavor--wouldn't recommend Burger & fries were decent, but nothing special As for drink pricing, it does lean a bit on the higher side. bucket of 5 beers was around $42, $15 for a Tito's vodka shot, and even a basic Jack and Coke came out to about $18 with tip, which felt a little steep for the area. the best deal was definitely the green tea shots at only $9 I will say, our waitress Priscilla was great. She had a lot of tables and seemed a bit overwhelmed, but she still made an effort to check on us and kept my mimosas coming pretty promptly. I didn't have to wait long at all between refills, which I appreciated. Since we went for a special event, the DJs were great and really kept the energy up the whole time Parking was easy. It did say there was a $2 fee, but when we printed the ticket, we weren't charged--so it might be free, but I'd still double-check at the kiosk just in case. Overall: decent spot for the vibe, music, and brunch outing, but just be prepared for controlled drinks and slightly higher prices.
