    Pastrami Sandwitch

Placed an order to go: a pastrami sandwich with onion rings, and a turkey melt with sweet potato fries. The ranch is homemade and really good. The pastrami sandwich was just okay, and I personally wouldn't get it again. However, the turkey melt is really good. The turkey is freshly sliced, and both the onion rings and sweet potato fries were solid. I've also tried their breakfast on a previous visit. I ordered the spicy omelette with home fries, along with biscuits and gravy. The staff are friendly, and the food is consistent. The turkey melt and the spicy omelette were definitely the highlights for me.

4.5 Stars Not sure why I've never posted a review before, but we've frequented this place many times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and always had good experiences. It's popular, so there can often be a wait, especially for breakfast, but we love to sit at the counter bar which will usually get you seated much quicker. The service is always good, the staff is very personable, and the food is delicious. The décor is diner-like but showing some wear. Plenty of parking is available on street, or in a city lot, but there are several restaurants/bars and other businesses in the immediate area. All food is very good, but here are a couple of my standouts: Biscuits & Gravy, homemade Bleu Cheese dressing, Creamed Corn, and their Giant Cinnamon Buns. No matter what you order, you can't go wrong.

I met a girlfriend for breakfast here last week. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. I prefer when they use real corned beef rather than canned corned beef. Before I placed my order, I asked the server what they use. She told me that they use canned corned beef, but she said that everyone loves it and she was sure I would too. I went ahead and ordered it. I chose Homefries and a Biscuit with Gravy. Unfortunately, I just didn't care for the corned beef hash and would never order it again. However, the rest of the meal was good as was the service. I would go back here again, but I would order something else.

    Chili Verde Omelette

Do NOT sleep on this place! Their Chili Verde Omelette was so yum- hit the spot. I got corn tortilla with it and it had a little spunk where my mouth is still tingly. I 100% will come back. It's a cute little corner diner and they let me hang out while my car was getting worked on. I sat outside with my dog and the weather was nice and breezy. Highly recommend. Staff was so friendly too Never felt pressured to leave immediately, so I was also able to do a work call at my table.

Decided to try Georgia's for breakfast today and it was good! I got the half French toast combo which was your average breakfast, bacon was crispy and French toast was good! My mom got the open faced biscuits and gravy and it was delicious! The biscuits were nice and buttery! Would def come again! I can't wait to try other things they have on the menu

    Veggie Omelette Breakfast

I debated between giving this place 3 versus 4 stars because the food is pretty good and prices are reasonable (which is why my mom loves coming back here), but service is slow (took about 20-25 minutes for the food to be served on a Monday morning) and the waitresses seemed curt and not very friendly on both occasions when I visited this business. For example, it felt like my server thought I was asking a dumb question when I asked what she recommended for the sides and if the potato chips were made in-house, based on the look on her face and her curt response. Overall, I felt on edge and not super welcomed while I was there. Maybe they are short-staffed which makes them irritable. Today my mom and I split a veggie omelette and a Mexican cheeseburger. For sides, we got the hash browns, potato chips, and pancakes. Veggie omelette was good. Portion size has definitely shrunk since the first time I was here, but it was still filling. The Mexican cheeseburger had a thick meat patty that was fresh and juicy. Flavor-wise it was good but did not stand out in any special way. Pancake was a little dry and was served not hot. Hash browns were average in terms of flavor and texture. Potato chips were good and not too salty.

Rancher Omelette with home potatoes and coffee

I had breakfast here for the first time and the food was delicious. I ordered a Rancher Omelette with home potatoes and wheat toast. They have a variety of jelly packets at the table which I love because I like lots of jelly. They have my favorite orange marmalade too. The atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable I like the nostalgic decor. The service is excellent and my coffee was kept full. I will definitely come back again and try the biscuits and gravy that seems to be popular.

I recommend Georgia's Original (Covina). The food is filling, well-priced, and freshly cooked. It's charming, clean, and welcoming. Surprisingly, Georgia Original's classic diner interior aesthetic and upbeat music reminded me of those thematic 50s diners in Downtown Disney. Concerning the food, it's a mixed bag. I ordered the Country Fried Steak & 3 Eggs ($16.99). I chose scrambled eggs. The meal also includes two other sides; I selected home potatoes and a pancake. The Country Fried Steak & Scrambled Eggs is cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, the home potatoes and pancake tasted mediocre. The Country Fried Steak's creamy, peppery gravy is thick and savory. The Country Fried Steak's center is soft, hot, and tender. And the Country Fried Steak's crust is crisp and comforting. Phenomenal!! The Scrambled Eggs are generous and filling. Each bite felt hearty, and the Scrambled Eggs tasted velvety, hot, and buttery. As mentioned prior, the Home Potatoes and Pancake are forgettable. The Home Potatoes were not crisp; rather, these potatoes tasted mushy and squishy. Its outer layer tasted dry. It tasted like leftover potatoes that sat around for too long. Concerning the pancake, its batter tasted slightly bitter. I needed to slather it with butter and syrup to mask the large pancake's off-putting taste. The entire meal arrived quickly. I waited seven minutes and 35 seconds. Regarding service, I enjoyed the efficiency. One main hostess is assigned by the door. She directs you to a seat. Later, another staff member takes your order. Eventually, the staff leaves your paper bill on your table; customers are expected to bring the paper bill to the hostess at the door to pay. Although the food runners don't really check-in on the customer, I felt the hostess' bright and welcoming personality made up for it. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Georgia's Original (Covina). The ambiance is charming and clean. The food is hot, filling, and satisfying. Despite the mediocre potatoes and pancake, I sincerely enjoyed my Country Fried Steak and eggs. It's a solid breakfast choice. 4/5

I'm always looking for new diner options in my area. Some of my best memories were made with good people eating good food at some of the best diners and diner chains across the country. While Georgia's might not be one of the best diners I've ever been to, it's certainly one of the best nearby. The breakfast hit solidly with one of the best hot link/sausage offerings I've ever had. The sourdough too especially hit the spot because they were two sizable pieces instead of being economy-sized like other places I've been to. The space was good; it has that lived-in feel that doesn't need to be modernized or updated or otherwise cater to being anything other than it is, a solid place to grub no matter the time of day. The service was amazing too. They were on the ball with refills and generally checking in without being obnoxious. Just a good food joint top to bottom.

I've been coming here for well over 15 years and it's always been that place you think of when you just want something solid that won't disappoint. The food itself is exactly why people love this place. Everything tastes best fresh, especially the fries and the teriyaki bowl. That's the kind of food you want to sit down and enjoy right away, not throw in a bag and rush out the door. Which brings me to the only reason this isn't a five star review. We showed up with about 30 minutes left before closing and were told we couldn't sit in the dining area, even though it was still open. That felt a little off and honestly kind of disrespectful, especially when the food is meant to be eaten fresh and hot. That said, the food was still really good, even to go, and I'm still recommending this place without hesitation. It's right there in the same shopping center as 85°C Bakery, super easy to find, and absolutely worth trying if you're in the area. Please try it. Seriously. This place has earned its reputation over the years and it's a true classic for a reason.
