Do yourself a favor and don't shop at Good Feet. Once purchased you are locked in. There are no refunds and that was not made clear to me at the time of purchase, even though I specifically asked if they were returnable. I got a generic "well, we'd like to work with you first" which to me doesn't say "you can never return these." Now they are falling back on "it's on the receipt" which is such a cop out. I work in retail and we are always very clear with customers at time of purchase what can and can't be returned. It's that simple. So now I'll have to follow up with my lawyer friends and the state to see what kind of legal recourse I have. My question to Good Feet: why make it so hard? wouldn't really kill you to be gracious? The sales rep remembered us, and made the excellent suggestion that I consider purchasing a pair of shoes there that I love and was on an exceptional sale. (They are no longer carrying them.) Order: Arch Support Pros: like everyone, I heard about Good Feet from social media (i.e., Instagram). I will say they have great marketing skills!!! The store was clean and I was able to walk in no problem. Cons: Well upon walking in, im greeted and immediately walked through what I would later find to be a sales pitch. During the process, I asked about pricing and I was told $499. However, it was briefly brushed over as they went back to selling their item to me. The arch supports were decent no lie. But its hard to tell in under an hour as I have flat feet. The lady then proceeds to tell me that my flat feet would be fixed after 6-months lol. She tells me the story of a lady who had feet like mine. She saw changes to her arch after using their system. I then asked what if your arch is a bone that cant be moved unless broken. She says their product can fix/address that. Well hell if that was the case id have new feet lol. Now after wrapping everything up we get to payment and she turns the screen and I see $1497. Upon inspection, I noticed that every support is $499 and the complete system isnt $499. Booooo. How can every arch be the same price if they are different products??? We didn't know exactly what to expect when we went here because we'd never bought custom insoles before. I was a bit concerned with all of the 1-2 star reviews, but they were mostly regarding price, and we knew the inserts were going to be spendy because they're medical devices and anything medical isn't cheap. We were helped by Joey and he gave us THE BEST customer service experience. We never felt pressured to buy and he didn't talk to us like a salesman. He answered all our questions confidently and I had a lot of them. These are a bit pricy but what you get is absolutely worth it. They back up their products with a great warranty and that says a lot about the company. If you were on the fence about popping in you should absolutely do it. read more

Save your money and go to an actual orthopedic doctor instead of a retail sales person give false medical advice to sell a product. I went in a year ago not for any foot pain, but to alleviate siatic pain. the person said absolutely yes, these will fix that. they then had me do a foot print, then went in back to get these "custom orthotocs". she then put them in a pair of their super cushioned shoes and walk around the store. she smiled at me and said "feels good right?!". well of course it feels good, ita super squishy shoes. I took the bait and plunked down $1500. a year later and my sciatic issues are only controlled through stretching and excersize. the insoles have caused me more foot pain than I've ever had. I've thrown them away and am working with a physical therapist to fix the problems that they caused. They falsely advertise these as "custom" and they are anything but. simply off the shelf for your shoe size. read more

Working all day on my feet has gotten really painful. So, one night I visited my local Good feet store with my MIL. I expected to but some expensive insoles and go home. This was more than an hour long presentation ending in sticker shock! $1,398 for 3 insoles. Not a typo. On the plus side, I'm sure if you put in the work to reshape your bones and tendons over months, you may have a winner. The guy who did the presentation was fabulous, so if u ever want a lot of attention, I say go. Also, even one insole was $499 & if you're not paying outright, it is a soft credit inquiry. The in-depth care provided by Good Feet has changed my life. Before, working all day on my feet would give me pain that would distract me for half of the day. I also had back pain and stiffness. Now, although it took a few weeks of adjusting, I have none of those problems anymore, and upon going back for another visit to their welcoming office, my high arches have already changed for the better after only a month. Even though the insoles are expensive, they will always replace or change your insoles whenever you want, and they will ensure that you have the exact support your body needs. Like another reviewer below said, it's taken me 3x to find the right support (I've purchased 2 of the 3 options now, the strengthener and the middle one, sustainer maybe). I've also purchased multiple rubber insoles which they sell as well, but unfortunately the plastic insert still protrudes at the arch, and if you're running or exercising, it can leave a painful mark for the rest of the day. I've tried shuffling the insole around, but nothing seems to help. I returned to the store and they gave me a softer arch support, but that didn't resolve the issue. I was told that the insoles weren't designed with the arch support in mind, and they're too narrow at the arch, so... that's that, I guess. Dr. Scholls however does have a fabric over their inserts (in comparison), and are far more comfortable. I'm not always excited to work with folk on commission since it feels more like the "sale" is the focus, but thankfully the 3rd time I worked with someone who appropriately listened to my problem, fitted me appropriately, and had me come in for a follow-up to make sure there were no issues. I wore an insert too large for my step for about 8 months before I gave up on them due to discomfort, but then I had someone remeasure my foot and found the correct size, unfortunately that was a lot of wasted time, but I eventually found the right one (not every salesperson is an ace). The Good Feet Store for some reason has a system in place where the first person to measure your foot or help you out will get all commission, recognition, and credit on the sale, even if another worker (at a future date) does all the work, so I wouldn't give credit to the first person I spoke with, I'd prefer the credit and commission go towards the worker who actually resolved my issues. I feel awkward every time I go in knowing that my information on their computers says who that first person is, but I still choose to work with another salesperson that understands me better. Conversationally, everybody's nice, and I get along with anyone I spoke with, but even after 2 years now, I was learning new information about the inserts that I hadn't learned prior, including the option of different strengths or softer inserts depending on the activity. One worker, a self-proclaimed "sales champ" was far too arrogant to feel comfortable, and his whole approach felt mechanic and far too rehearsed. This was a year back and I think they were only helping at that store temporarily. In the past doctors told me that these high-end inserts are no better than the Dr. Scholls inserts, but I got tired of paying for continual replacements, so hopefully this lifetime option pays off in the long run. I'm hoping the strengthener inserts do help reshape my arch and offer more support to my knees and posture. Lastly, it'd be nice if corporate could fix the heater inside that Johnson Creek location, as it was apparent that the workers were freezing to death, and it wasn't all that comfortable myself sitting there freezing. All in all, I recommend speaking with a health professional about your actual physical issues, whether that be knees, feet, back, or posture. These workers aren't medical professionals, they're just trained to know their products, and speak from personal experience or share other's testimonies. That's equivalent to, "well this worked for me and Martha, so it's gotta work for you". We'll see what happens with my feet and knees, it might be worth the gamble, but for now, that's all it is. read more

I drove my mom to the SE Portland location on Johnson Creek to find out options for refund or exchange. Brayden was compassionate and thoughtful during our exchange. He was thorough in explaining the refund process after conferring with Store Manager. I do know better! I heard a radio ad for this store, and on impulse made an appointment because I do need arch supports and better shoes than I have right now. I had a bad feeling when I got to my appointment and the 20-something woman "helping" me had the condescending "How are we feeling today?" tone. She measured my feet and got out three pairs of arch supports, each for slightly different life situations. She fitted me with reasonable shoes. That was it -- three pairs of arch supports and one pair of shoes. And when I got to the checkout counter, I had the most severe sticker shock of my life: $1,572! Yes, you read that right! Was immediately approached by a guy who came on like a used car salesman trying to hook me on Amway! A real turn off! When my wife and I first arrived, all was well they seemed happy to help us but once we got the process going things quickly turned sour. The employee helping us, was taking forever in the back that my wife and I began talking that before spending over $350 each we needed to explore more options and then come back if need be. We didn't know that the prices were this high, but figured one of us could get insoles if we were convinced about the product. We expressed this concern and figured that a good sales person would be like understandable. But no, this quickly turned hostile with the employee almost throwing paperwork at us. DO NOT GO HERE I have early osteoarthritis of my spine and have been experiencing extreme pain for a while now. My dad, being the good loving father that he is, called me and said he wanted to take me to the good feet sort for some inserts to see if they would help with my pain. Willing to try anything, I agreed and we drove from Sandy to Clackamas to check it out thinking we would just go and buy some inserts. HAHA! No, that's not what this place is. As soon as I stepped in there I felt uneasy. The guy that was helping me started laying on the sales pitch right away and I was like "am I buying shoe inserts or a timeshare." So he asks a bunch of questions about pain and all that and has me do this ink print thing for my foot and then hands me his tablet and shows me where to sign and where to click for prices and leaves me to it while he goes and gets all the goodies he's hoping he just sold me on. So I click on the link to the price sheet and I see $400 and start laughing. So he comes back and right away I say "I'm just telling you right now I'm not paying $400 for shoe inserts, but I'll look at the shoes." So the whole time I'm trying on shoes he is asking me if I want to at least try the inserts and I repeatedly say no. Then my curiosity got the better of me and I ask "how much is the system on the wall display?" And he said "$1200." I immediately started busting up laughing as did my 12 yr old daughter. My 75 yr old dad sat there like his life just flashed before his eyes. Then the guy says "well you can make payments and they have a lifetime guarantee." Yeah ok buddy. In the end my dad bought me a $150 pair of shoes that are super comfy and we told them hell no to the $1200 hocus pocus. My dad just wants me to be pain free and I figured we'll give the shoes a try. Working in fast food and having plantar fasciitis is not a good combination. Before coming to this store by the time my shift was half way through I was READY to be off my feet. Even the cheapest pair of inserts they have (tbh I was a bit surprised at how much some of them cost) worked WONDERS. Just a few days later and my feet hurt so much less than before at the end of my shift. I feel like I could work a few more hours. The store was very sanitary, staff sanitized everything between each customer, they even gave me a brand new pair of fairly nice socks so I could find the right fit for me. I'm a teacher, I stand on my feet all day. After months of horrible foot pain, I felt improvement on day 1 after getting my new inserts. They are not inexpensive, but weighing the cost vs. waiting weeks to see an orthopedist and have orthotics made (and insurance only covering a fraction anyway) was a very clear choice. Melissa was fantastic at going over my evaluation and explaining what I needed and how the system works. I can go in anytime and trade for different sets as my feet or needs change. I was even able to get some inserts that will work in my sandals this summer!! Overall, the experience of working with the company and the foot- changing results have been outstanding. I went here a week ago. The lady there was already with two customers and it looks like they have been there for awhile deciding on what to buy. Looking at the amount of boxes they had out on the floor. She asked what I need help with and I told her Im new to this store and what her recommendation is for shoes or soles for long standing hours are. She replied "all of them are good" Well that doesn't help because there is a difference and she already had an attitude with me. I looked around and read some of the descriptions on the wall and asked her from what four shoes are good for long hours of standing and she said all of them. Then she asked if I want to be fitted and told me to read about it on the wall. Seriously? Can this get any worse??? I started to fill out paper work. The prices were insane $399 for the custom fit. I wish I knew how long they last and what they do for your feet. But no explanation. I feel like she was lazy to even explain or even know where she works at. She didn't seem happy at all. Going into The good feet store he was nervous and not knowing that they cost $350 for the product! He couldn't afford that it was outrageous. I've been a customer for years and could not be happier with their service. The Good Feet people are the best and certainly take their jobs seriously. After I raved to a friend about how much I improved the the Good Feet orthotics, he said they were too expensive and ordered some knockoffs on line. Well guess what, they did not work and now he and his wife are Good Feet clients.
