I always receive excellent service and genuine care. Liar for a manager. I walked in the store this afternoon and had to wait 30 minutes or so because we did not have an appointment. OK So we waited listening to some LOUD, almost heavy metal music for the whole time. I asked the fat man with dark hair if they could lower the music. He said NO because they want us to play it at this volume. So we waited another 15 minutes and getting more and more irritated. I Finally asked the slimmer man if he could lower the music because it was really irritating me. He reached over and immediately lowered it ????? Then he walked over to the fat man who was not happy about the change, but changed the station too. The buttons were right in front of him, earlier that same guy said he had to go into the back and the only thing he could do was maybe turn it off, but the Corp wanted it at that level/volume. Then I said that I would work with the man who lowered the volume, Fatty said that that he is going to lunch after his customer but I could wait if I wanted too. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? I had a lovely staff member at The Good Feet Story, but the more time I spent here the more time it just didn't feel right. When I learned that orthotics would be anywhere from $2,000 - $3,000 and that they were not custom made and not refundable I really started to question The Good Feet's "system" - it seems to rely on people not realizing they can go to a podiatrist and get custom made orthotics for $600 (that's the price I was quoted by several podiatrists in the area). Please do your due diligence and if you find that The Good Feet Story system works for you then fine, but I think there are other options too to check out as well. read more

BEWARE, we went to the Oxnard Store, the sales person talked my husband into buying those cheap plastic inserts at a cost of $3000. The overall concept is good but as for my husband who had 4 back surgeries it caused more harm than good. And, once you purhased you are stuck with those cheap inserts. All I can say is, "buyer beware." My wife stopped by the Torrance store to buy a simple pair of inserts. Before she had left, the saleswoman had talked her into a $2,000 purchase for junk she will never wear. Granted, it was my wife's responsibility to say "no," but before she knew it, she was pressured into the stated purchase. " I never thought inserts would be $1500"! As a sales executive and owning my own business, I have the following review. I felt the sales person was properly trained and robotic. It was way too by the numbers, sales presentation. It seemed to be overly rehearsed with their questions and their conclusions, which I thought, they likely say the same thing to everybody They were very nice but I never thought their recommendations for three inserts would be for $1500. I ended up buying a new pair of shoes, sandals, without any inserts. When I left their store, I had the wrong color of sandals in my box and I had a box with the proper size on the box but the wrong size of shoes in the box. They should've inspected my boxes and made sure I had the proper product. I bought some great socks, which they were recommended to me and the size was also too small. I've had experience with inserts and I didn't find very much of a difference between online products as compared to their $500 per insert product. I guess if you were in a lot of pain, after trying other inserts, and maybe these may be an alternative. I did in the same day return the sandals that were about $185. They weren't as comfortable as I thought they would be. Again, the sales lady was very nice, but she should've checked my boxes for the proper product and shoe size. I had to drive back to the store about 10 miles to return my product which I wasn't happy about. read more

I spent over $1,500 in total at this store, was refitted 3-4 times over 2 years, and these insoles did nothing for me. I went to Roadrunner Sports and had them make me insoles for $80. And these work better than Good Feet! Don't believe their commercials, it's a marketing scam! read more

I have plantar fasciitis and I got the 3 steps and new shoes. I walk dogs every day. I have had a lot of relief. The strentheners work great in the morning before I put on the maintainer for the day. The relaxers feel great after a long day on my feet. It does take some time to get used to them but so far I think it is improving. The people at the store in Redondo beach are all great. I saw an advertisement on tv and I have bad feet, so me and my wife went there for a fitting and I really wanted them to work but after 24 hours my feet and hip had so much pain I went back to the store requiring a refund and was told all sales are final. I was never told before I purchased the, the sales man talked very fast and kept telling me how much taller I was and how much better I could walk but never said all sales were final. I have had plantar fasciitis in my left foot for some time, which was initially solved by throwing out all my flat shoes with no support. Then the pain came creeping back when I put on a little bit of weight. I decided to check out The Good Feet Store in good faith. Penelope helped me out and she did a wonderful job from start to finish. In fact, I've never spent so much time in a shoe store before with one-on-one attention. Even Nordstrom doesn't even spend that much time on their customers looking at shoes. I learned about their three levels of shoe inserts (plus a bonus one if one is interested) and felt the difference immediately after trying all the inserts. The store mainly has Brooks brand shoes. I used to shop at runners shoe stores, so I'm familiar with the brand and I can attest how comfortable they are. The inserts are not cheap, not gonna lie. I financed them through a third party and a portion was covered through my health spending account. I've tested the maintainers inserts (the second one, black colored) at the gym and so far so good. I am going to keep testing them out during workouts and I'm hoping the new spinning class place in Torrance will help me lower my weight a little bit and thus mitigate plantar fasciitis pain. I'm so glad there's now a Good Feet Store in the Los Angeles area. Before that they were way down south in the OC. When you go there I suggest you enter and exit the parking lot off Artesia unless you are already heading north on Hawthorne. There's plenty of free parking and they share the shopping center with several other stores. This is a very nice, new, bright store. If you're going there I suggest calling ahead and making an appointment for a fitting, but you can also walk in if you want. It takes a while to get fitted properly, so make the appointment if possible. I've been using The Good Feet Store orthotics for over 20 years and I wear them every day. They are not cheap, but they last, and they are guaranteed for a lifetime of use. I brought in a pair of orthotics that were showing signs of wear that I bought over 15 years ago at another Good Feet Store and they cheerfully exchanged them for a brand new pair. They even refitted me for the new pair to make sure they were just right. All I had to do was pay $20 to ship my old orthotics back. If I would have had to buy a new pair it would have cost me $399.95. People complain that the prices are high, but I think it's a case of you get what you pay for. You buy them once and you never have to buy them again. If they wear out, they'll exchange them for a new pair for free...for life! Not many companies can/will offer a guarantee like that. Diane, an arch support specialist helped me out. She's terrific. She's been with the company for a long time and is very knowledgable. I'm a believer in The Good Feet Store orthotics. My doctor diagnosed me with plantar fascitis along with tendinitis and suggested I get inserts. I found The Good Foot store online so decided to check it out. I was there for a couple of hours with a lovely salesperson. My gripe is of my own fault as I should have paid closer attention to the "fine print". No refunds once you've spent over $2000 (I don't make a lot of money so that is a lot for me personally) for shoes and inserts. Turned out they made my feet worse and my doctor advised me to stop using the inserts immediately! Don't get suckered into spending over $2000 for shoes and inserts. read more

I was having bad heel pain because I'm always on my feet at work. I thought I'd give this place a try since buying random inserts from Amazon and dr scholls wasn't working. I was a bit sketchy and almost didn't purchase the items because of the cost and of the instructions for use like having to switch out the inserts for different uses. While their products are good for most straightforward foot conditions and their staff is knowledgeable, the pricing varies widely depending on which franchise you walk into :-( That said, the Torrance store has the best pricing around and, even more important, the best replacement policies for growing kids!!! read more

Insoles did not work for my plantar fasciitis tried several different ones and none worked, worst part was I could not get my money back! I spent over $1k there for nothing! Horrible service. Faced with several weeks of painful heel Spurs I found myself in The Good Feet Store in Torrance last Friday. As it turns out, I was not the only one as the store was busy. Dominic, the store manager, welcomed me to the store and let me know appointments are strongly recommended as they spend 45-60 minutes per customer for specialized arch support analysis. Okay, I scheduled an appointment for Sunday and Dominic told me she would call me in an hour after her appointment. I returned to The Good Feet Store in Torrance after an hour. Heel spurs are very painful and the idea that relief might be possible, well. Yes. I returned in the hour. Dominic let me know she was just about to phone me. Yay!!! There was another customer in the store that the manager, Dominic was assisting. She was a septuagenarian and the exchange was one of great patience and care. I was so impressed with the service given to her by Dominic that we were already off to a great start. When I left The Good Feet Store in Torrance.
