    If you have even slight discomfort in your ski/snowboard boots, stop what you're doing and go see Scotty. The man is a gift to those of us who love alpine sports but suffer from painful boots. On my last trip to Mammoth, the pain in the instep of both my feet was so severe that I had to take a break every few minutes. I knew I didn't want to experience this on my next trip. Scotty took the time to listen to all the pain points I was experiencing with my new Burton Step On boots, and addressed each point one-by-one. Custom insoles, heat molded liners, inflating the instep area of my boots, and some additional foam in the instep gave me the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever experienced. I can now ride again without pain. The 5 star reviews are all legit. Avoid getting your boots fitted at the big stores and just go see Scotty. His wife, Angela, is also incredibly nice and hospitable.

    Scotty is the man! I have been to many qualified boot fitters and nobody has been so informed, patient and enjoyable to work with. I rarely post on Yelp but I felt compelled by the incredible service and results that Scott delivered. His prices are also extremely competitive. Do yourself a favor and skip the big box shops and go to Scott and get a truly custom insole, liner or boot. You will save money and get a world class experience and product.Thanks, Scotty!

    I work in retail and let me tell you- I have the worst uniform shoes. So bad that it started unbearable pain to work a full 8 hour shift. I did my research and found my way here. I didn't know what to expect but i needed something to relieve the pain. So i thought maybe custom insoles. Scotty sat me down and looked at my foot. I told him my symptoms and he told me what was wrong. He also suggested what i can do to help with recovery and prevention. I took all his advice and I'm already feeling better. He made me custom insoles which he molded to my foot and i can transition those into many of my shoes i currently have. Price is not bad either for insoles that'll last 5 years. He really does cater everything to you and your lifestyle. Scotty really wants to learn about you and genuinely wants to help you be comfortable. Definitely will refer him to others.

    I wish everyone knew what a jewell this service is! To have a great boot fitter locally is a rare find. I recently purchased a pair of stiff ski racing boots knowing I would need custom fitting. Jeff was amazingly talented, patient with my needs, knowledgeable and had the tools and ability to execute the tasks. I am not one to normally stick my neck out and rave about an experience but must in this case. If you have any orthotic needs or custom fitting look no further. We need to support businesses like this rare gem. Trust me you will be treated fairly and get great service. Update: A very special thanks for making my ski racing boots fit to perfection. I recently was able to take gold in the Mammoth masters slalom. This could not have been possible without this service.

Upon entering, there were three employees visibly working in the store two male employees on the sales floor and one female employee behind the counter. Despite walking directly past the two male employees, neither acknowledged us, greeted us, nor asked if we needed assistance. Instead, they appeared to be engaged in a personal conversation with one another. As we continued browsing, I spent time in the women's section while my husband looked at shoes. I walked past the two male employees a few times, and on one occasion, one of them made direct eye contact with me, yet still did not offer a greeting or assistance. Shortly afterward, a female employee came from the back of the store, walked directly past me, and likewise failed to acknowledge my presence or offer assistance. At that point, I became disappointed by the complete lack of customer service. After this treatment my family and I decided to leave the store. After exiting the store, I remained outside briefly and observed one of the same male employees assisting another customer who had entered after us. Wanting to give the store another opportunity, I returned inside and continued browsing in the women's section. Even then, several minutes passed before a female employee finally asked if I needed assistance. While I understand that employees may be busy, there was no indication that these employees were occupied with customer-related responsibilities. Instead, they appeared focused on socializing while completely ignoring my family and me. As a consumer, I should not have to repeatedly walk past employees, make eye contact, and spend time browsing before receiving even a basic greeting. Every customer deserves to be acknowledged, welcomed, and treated with professionalism and respect.
