Went here with some of my co workers near my new location in fancy bellevue. This is a nice dive bar, large open floor plan with plenty of tables and pool tables as well. My buddy warned me not to get a burger says it will make you sick so of course I ordered a burger and I got really sick. oh well, it still tasty good, and the wait staff was friendly and very attentive. This has been my spot for a couple years now and while at times I've lost interest I always come back. The bartenders are sweet, sassy and give awesome service. The menu is great for a dive, and the the bar is very responsive to any feed back. I jokingly said that I thought the bar needed to start a fund jar for new pool sticks ... about one week later, the bar had new pool sticks! The only thing I'm sad about is them discontinuing karaoke! They had the best karaoke book in Bellevue! Guess they weren't getting enough people interested. Awesome dive bar. I'm not going to ding this bar for lacking historical charm and the like. It's a dive bar, with all the kitsch that characterizes one. My five stars are for the excellent food, drinks and service. I had a tuna melt and salad. The salad was just the right size with just the right ingredients. Stopped in for a quick bite with about 40 minutes of time to be able to eat. I grabbed a beer and the lady working said she would come by to grab our food order. Then about 15 minutes passed... In hindsight we probably should've established our sense of urgency, but being 2/4 people there I thought service would be good enough. Not really too much to say about this place. its your typical local pub, which was actually pretty comforting to be at considering its proximity to downtown Bellevue, so it was surprising that the prices for food and beer were what they are. I enjoyed my food, though I do wish they had more of a selection of beers on tap. Its clean and the staff was super friendly, so thats always a plus for me. Pretty normal low-light dive bar/sports bar. Pool tables in decent condition, food, we'll you know normal dive bar food. Accessible parking every time I've been. One strong downfall of this place is the service is extremely slow. I often sit at the bar and it takes 10-20 minuets to get new pull tabs. Or 10 minutes for another beer with less than 20 people in the bar. This results in my rating. Do something about the service please, bartending is a coveted job, there should be some sense of urgency. read more

This place has potential. But the service totally kills it. I really wanted to like this place. The service is just too damm slow. I had to go down and get the waiter to serve us. What an awesome little dive bar. We came here after a friends wedding, and after frantically yelping to find a place open after 12 am we stumbled on this little gem. Scary on the outside, oddly welcoming on the inside. Dive bar in the best sense of the word -- honest, reasonably priced (on drinks), with 2 dart boards, 2 pool tables, and multiple TVs set to SportsCenter. But alas, I must deduct a star for the boring and overpriced (at $8) Cheese Nachos -- essentially, a plate of tortilla chips with shredded cheddar on top that's been microwaved. My advice would be to skip the bar snacks, but hey, go nuts on drinks! read more

I usually go here for lunch with coworkers once or twice a month. The food is delicious and cheap. You can get a meal and a soda for about $10. Didn't appreciate the snot on my beer glass, nor smudged into further beer glasses with further boogs lingering on the exterior of the beer glass. I'm a polite customer. And, I tip at least 20%. I was too embarrassed to share with the person I was with as I didn't want to put him off his food. If you don't like a specific customer, I get that. You don't have to smear the beer glass with snot and act like you wish they had never come in. I won't be back. BTW, where's the guy with the shaved head and crooked teeth (slightly). Let's get this right, the goose pub is the spot ! Turned 21 back in March and I've explored the east sides nicest bars, and all the way to the worst of the worst in Seattle. I come here a couple times a week and the service is always the same. Super friendly staff and awesome recommendations.. the deep fried Mac and cheese bites. Say. No. More. Overall experience is a must try if you haven't been here. Darts and pool table with tons of tvs. The fact that they do such a good job with sometimes 1 maybe 2 workers there in general is baffling. Only thing I would change is maybe update the bar a little bit looks like it hasn't been touched since it opened, but that's why you don't judge a book by its cover ! Been there 3 times now. A bunch of us that work in a high end restaurant in Bellevue go out a few nights a week to drink and bitch. First night we came to the goose was a Wednesday night our bartender was awesome. Next time was a Saturday it was super busy two girls working one was amazing the other was ok her attitude needed some adjusting but for the most part she was cool . Probably just overwhelmed. But this last time it was a Tuesday and the girl working was rude. She forgot Part of my order and when I went to the bar to remind her she rolled her eyes then help at least 4 more people before getting the rest of my order while my food just got cold. It took her literally 20 for me to get the ajus and bun for my burger. It was not that busy and she wasn't moving fast. It's extremely hard for me to leave less than 20% but she seemed to deliberately take her time to get the rest of my food and was not or apologetic about the delay. We will return I just don't think it will be on a Tuesday. One tip .. no your customers. It was obvious we we're in the industry you should have respect for people that do what you do especially if you want to be tipped well. I usually tip 25-35% read more
