Wow not a fan. The food was okay not great. BYOB which we didn't know. They have a liquor store close but the mgr pointed me to The Dublin for wine. Their sister company. The wine was a good bottle however 50 bucks?? Wtf. Bring a bottle or go to Liquor store. The garlic bread was good with ricotta and olives chopped. The bolognese was very good the shell pasta not so much. Ok fontina cheese turned off my wife. Waitress return it We then went for the shrimp crostini with raisins. Not a fan. We then split the pork chop, my wife and I were ok. Our waitress was friendly but all in all, that place needs help with servicing tables. Granted new place. The food didn't wow me.

There is room for improvement but it has great potential. Manager called me back because I called the day before. It would have been great to be reminded that the restaurant is byob and about parking. Seating by the door and we would get some waves of cold breeze. Unclear if the ac was on or if the cold is coming from outside. Seating for two is a bit tight. I understand the restaurant wants to have as many table as possible but I would prefer have more personal space during my dinner instead of sitting so close to another table. We loved the food. The pasta is great, fresh, and original flavors. We got the squid ink and had a great flavor. It comes with neonata which is spicy but I wasn't aware. It would be good to mention it on the menu. The spicy rigatoni wasn't spicy but it was still great. The esthetic of the restaurant, the ambiance, and music fits the place well. The acoustics are good and I don't need to scream to talk to my husband at dinner making it very pleasant. The restaurant could use a coat check. I don't think they have one. The service is attentive. Our water was always full. They have plenty of stuff working and doing a great job. The desserts were ok. I would have loved the pistachio gelato to be more flavorful but it wasn't quite sweet enough. The olive cake was good.

They've been at this location for five years, but their roots run much deeper in Morristown--and you can feel it in every detail. From the start, the atmosphere was welcoming and refined, and the energy in the room was lively without ever being loud. Families, friends, nice mix. The staff was phenomenal, and the owner himself made the rounds, greeting guests table to table like it was Sunday dinner at his own home. We kicked things off with meatballs, calamari, fried zucchini sticks, and fresh bread--simple, classic, and done exactly right. The olive oil for bread dipping had full cloves of roasted garlic, absolutely delicious. For dinner, we had a spread: * Eggplant Parmigiana - tender, rich, and perfectly layered, over a bed of pasta * Chicken Parmigiana - crisp, juicy, and deeply satisfying, our son's favorite * Spaghetti Carbonara - creamy, balanced, and not overly heavy * Penne alla Vodka - a comfort dish done with precision, just right. The authenticity stood out in every bite--you could tell this is a kitchen that cooks with pride and history. The portions were generous and we can't wait to eat the leftovers. The crowd was a great mix, and the overall vibe felt elevated without being pretentious. We went with my soulmate and one of our adult children, and it was the kind of meal you look forward to repeating. Final word: -Highly recommend. - Would absolutely return. Guerriero's is the kind of place where tradition meets hospitality, and it hits the mark on every level. A true gem in Morristown.

The waiting was not too long as well, other reviews said the waiters were mean, but my waiter was kind and understanding, he also checked up on us to make sure we were ok. The food again was outstanding, the whole actual vibe of the place was just family's all talking, outside seating was very nice, the waiter made a joke that made everyone at the table laugh! Overall I would like to come back and venture out to eat more foods -Scarlett, your biggest 10 year old fan

We're all glad we did. We were seated downstairs, which was a little 'basementy" (not a real word)... but not terrible either. It was a bit more quiet than it was upstairs, so it evens out. We had 2 orders of Chicken vino bianco, 2 orders of branzini (o), one order of Veal piccata and my bucatini with clams, shrimp and bay scallops. (in a nice white wine sauce) and everyone enjoyed their meal. Decent sized portions and very good service will probably find us back here next time we're in the Morristown area. ... and it's a BYOB.

The waitress came over to tell us the specials and take our food/drink orders. We were served fresh bread, which was delicious and we were able to request more once we finished it. Food: calamari to start was crispy and lightly breaded, definitely something I'd order again. I got the special, which was handmade papardelle with short rib ragu. It was good, but could have used more short rib - there was only a few pieces for a pretty hefty portion of pasta. My boyfriend got the shrimp parm, which was a huge portion and also really good. It's BYOB, but still perfect for date night or a celebration - the seating isn't too close together and it isn't too loud. Would love to come back and try something else!

While I liked the lounge vibe, the only downside for me was that I booked this place as a family dinner. If youre coming with friends or on a date this is great spot. If you're bringing family then the low lighting and loud music might not be ideal. In terms of food, I was really satisfied with everything I ordered, but I especially enjoyed the penne vodka and the eggplant parm. The vodka sauce was creamy without being overtly heavy making it easy to eat without getting bored of the flavor. The eggplant parm was also crispy but well layered with cheese and sauce that made each bite tasty. We also ordered chicken parm which was much larger than expected and chicken masala that was also seasoned well. For apps we did a house salad which felt fresh and ended with the chocolate layer cake for dessert. The cake was rich and indulgent with multiple layers ensuring each bite was layered with flavor. Our server was also very friendly and came by enough that we didn't have to flag him down but also had privacy to enjoy our meal as a family. I will definitely be coming back here with friends or as a date night. While I enjoyed the food, as a family meal I'd probably stick to takeout from here instead.

They are bound together with a little egg, milk, and perhaps breadcrumbs with some herbs and spices added to the mix. Located on a busy South Street in the heart of Morristown, my partner and I decided on dinner last night at Millie's Old World Meatballs and Pizza, named after the owners' grandmother, before the Mayo show. The location was ideal just a block away. The reservation was easily made via OpenTable. Upon arrival as first-timers, we were greeted by the staff and got a table inside the main dining room evoking modern Italy with an open kitchen, brick walls, chic red and black accents, and ambient electro music. Weather permitting, their loft-style garage door opens to the sidewalk for outdoors dining. Their menu features their specialties ... meatballs with both coal-fired and Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas as well as other traditional Italian recipes, which are fairly extensive. We decided on the Fettuccine Tartufo and a small Coal Fired Millie's Meatball Parmesan Pie. The food took some time, but we knew they were made with the finest ingredients and were absolutely delicious. The pizza was made from scratch, loaded with decent meatball slices, and had the right consistency where the crust was crispy and not burnt. Each dish on every table looked fantastic. We saved some room for dessert and shared their homemade Tres Leches cake. It was light, moist, and just the right level of sweetness. A little pricey across the board, but one can tell everything was made fresh. Our server was very pleasant. A perfect ending to an outstanding dinner, and our bellies approved. Definitely worth coming back for more than just meatballs and pizzas.
