This place is great - nice atmosphere food always solid and we recently had lunch and the waitress was very friendly and interacted with our 3 year old . She complimented her dancing and building skills , super friendly.

    Steak Sandwich Very good!!

This place is great all around. Nice atmosphere, you feel like you're at a countryside restaurant. Food is amazing! Big portions fair prices and I haven't had a bad thing yet. Lots of parking a big bar and lots of TVs. Different seating areas around the restaurant with different vibes so whatever mood your in you can pick. Only problem I've ever had was yesterday we were in and the men's bathroom was like a skating rink. Soooooo slippery and wet with what I'm crossing my fingers was just water.

This is one heck of a great local pub food restaurant. The atmosphere is great for families, parties, and the like. The food was delicious! We like our burgers rare and told them mooing please, and that exactly how we got them! The meat was tasty and juicy. The cheddar cheese was perfectly melted and tasted great. The bun was a fresh and delicious brioche. Lettuce and tomatoes and onions all ridiculously fresh - tomato red ripe. The onion rings were crispy and tasty. Service was great. Highly recommend!!!

Haven't been here in years & it's blocks away from me. Wasn't disappointed at all. Still hot and fresh all the time. We sat outside patio area which was really nice as well. Service was great as well . LOVE the thin crust pizza. Can't go wrong.

PROS: very nice bar with good tasting food and decent prices that come out quickly with a long menu variety. The atmosphere was good with the bar on one side and restaurant on the other CONS: the waitress was cold towards us and wasn't friendly at all. OVERALL: great place to come and eat but the service aspect of it could improve

Walked in on a Saturday night and the place is packed. Hostess said it's about an hour and a half wait. We were in the area to see a friends band so we couldn't wait that long Fortunately a couple was getting up at the bar and we grabbed seats. The bartenders were super friendly and very attentive. I got the ribs on a recommendation of my friend. They were nice and tender and had good flavor. Not smoked like a BBQ joint but a solid choice for sure. The hostess walked by and said she was happy we found a seat and asked if we enjoyed our food. That's above and beyond, and does their employees actually care. It's not local for us but I would definitely make an excuse to go back.

The whole experience brings out a sense of nostalgia for one's childhood at grandmother's house. Today, many scratch kitchens pride themselves on making something particular. Located at a strip mall off of Minnisink Road in Totowa, my partner and I decided on dinner at Robert's Scratch Kitchen for some of us as first-timer. The reservation was easily made via OpenTable. Upon arrival at this cozy, inviting, and relaxed BYOB establishment, we were greeted by the owner, Robert, and got a table immediately by the window. The menu featured a variety of Italian, seafood, steak, pork, and veal dishes that change with the seasons, including a full gluten-free option catered especially to those with celiac. Their usage of an iPad shows the rotated specials was a novel idea. For starters, we decided on the Artichoke Hearts and Apple Salad. Our main meal consisted of Linguini and Clams as well as Eggplant Parmesan. The food was constantly fresh and prepared exactly how we had ordered it. The portions were healthy portions. The price was comparable to the area. The staff was attentive and wanted to ensure that we were happy. Our server was Juan. We had a wonderful culinary experience.

We didn't have a reservation, but they were still able to seat us in the dining room as long as we could wrap up before 1:30, which we appreciated. I wasn't super hungry so we shared the crispy cauliflower and lamb ribs from the appetizer menu. The crispy cauliflower was excellent -- hot, actually crispy, and not drowning in sauce which I really appreciated. The lamb ribs came over labneh (a yogurt base) and the first plate arrived with the lamb cold. I asked our waitress if that was intentional and she said only the labneh should be cold. They immediately replaced it with a fresh order and handled it really well, which I appreciated. Great service recovery and overall a really enjoyable brunch spot with a lively atmosphere.

The website states it is "A five star dive bar" and it did not disappoint. It is a gem of a place that is tucked away in a Little Falls neighborhood. The restaurant / bar was recently renovated and it has a great look and vibe. There is a large beautiful bar with tables surrounding it. We sat at a high table for two at the back end of the bar. The menu has so many interesting options to choose from. Instead of ordering a meal, we decided to split a number of appetizers while we quenched our thirst with drinks from the bar. We started with the Moroccan spinach & mushroom soup which was a silky broth, very tasty, and enjoyable. We slurped up every last drop. Next we had the home made potato and cheese pierogi and we added grilled kielbasa, both of which were delicious. The pierogi's were nicely pan fried adding a crispy texture which was very enjoyable. The caramelized onions added another dimension to the plate and left me wishing there was more. The lightly herbed sour cream for dipping tied all of the flavors together. The grilled kielbasa had a nice snap with each bite and a great flavor. We followed up with the rice balls. Perfectly cooked with a super crispy outside. Breaking into them with the fork, we were delighted to find a soft center with melted smoked gouda and rice. To round it out, they were plated on top of a nicely spiced tomato sauce base for dipping. All the flavors worked perfectly. Last we had the meatloaf cupcakes with the mashed potato frosting. One word... scrumptious. They were so moist and tender with a wonderful brown beef gravy that complimented the meat and mashed potatoes. We cleaned the plate!!! Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.
