Went for a Washington football game. The staff was really attentive until after the game was over. The burger and fries were ok, but nothing special.

If you are a university of Washington fan, this is the only spot in the city to watch the games! The back half of the tavern is reserved for the watch party. Despite the large crowds, the small staff make consistent rounds and took care of everyone at the bar as well. Very impressed with the service. During the holidays, the place is decked out for Hanukkah as well, with dradles and blue/silver decor.

Awesome place ! Chi was super cool. Dillon was great to talk to as well. Highly recommend this spot to hang out and grab a beer

I ordered via Uber tonight and it was my first experience with this place. Despite the Uber driver kicking butt and getting my order to me in record time, the impossible burger was burned, the lettuce was wilted and disgusting. I had to throw it out. 2 stars because the cheese curds were completely on point. Not enough for me to recommend or order again. Soooo disappointed. Please get some QC going in the kitchen.

Solid bar. Good drinks and good food! Nice because it is couple blocks away from Wrigley Field. They have a juke box which is cool but it only plays like 1 minute of the song you choose. Normally most Juke boxes play the full song. The service was so so. I think they were understaffed. We asked our waitress for a menu and a water 3 times when ordered our beers. Never ended up getting the menu or water. They ran out of chicken wings(tried to order 12 wings). We got the last 6 wings in the restaurant.

My friend and I stopped by to watch the Chelsea v. Manchester game around 2pm on a Thursday. I thought the overall bar had a very friendly atmosphere filled with people who are passionate about football! There were plenty of open tables when we walked in and the waitstaff were quick to come around and were super friendly as well. We both ordered a diet coke and I got the honey butter chicken tenders with a side of curly fries. I thought that the chicken was a bit dry, but the sauce that came with it was super good. Probably the best part of the meal. The curly fries were good as well and cost an extra $3! The serving sizes are a bit smaller than what you'd expect, but I was definitely full by the end. I would definitely come back for the friendly service and fun atmosphere!

We came here before the Cubs game and had a great experience! They have many indoor tables as well as a spacious outdoor back patio which was adorable! Everyone at my table ordered chicken tenders with fries and I tried the wagyu sliders which were SUPERB. There were 3 in the order and each came on a pillowy and perfectly buttered and toasted brioche bun and was topped with perfectly caramelized onions and a delicious burger sauce. The burgers were cooked perfectly and the whole meal was juicy and delicious. Would absolutely come back just for those sliders!! I would also have to add that the sweet potato fries were not worth it.

This was our very first stop in Chicago while awaiting check in for our Air BnB. This is right down the street from Wrigley, and get quite crowded around games. We enjoyed our time here. We had great service, terrific beers, and met some great people! Would definitely be back!

I had the best time at Graystone recently in their patio area. Even on a chilly January night, it was kept to a comfortable temperature. COVID protocol was followed- social distancing and masks are definitely in place. The food was awesome, especially the tacos. They are huge and definitely not your typical taco. Definitely a spot to check out while in Wrigleyville!

Greystone Tavern at 3441 N Sheffield about 1 block north of Wrigley Field. I met my Cubbie die hard friends to be there for the home opener for the Cubs 2017 season. Right after arriving it started to rain postponing the beginning of the Cubs Home Opener about 90 minutes. Part of the delay was the rain and the Cubs raising their 2016 World Series banner (F--in A). 108 years in the making. To say this was long overdue would be an understatement. Greystone is a restaurant/bar with a ton of TV's to view the sporting events. There really isn't much to differentiate this place apart from any other bars in the neighborhood They have a small food menu, but I grabbed a bite before I got there because my friend doesn't eat anything. Much to my surprise she actually ordered food and she actually ate it. Like I said the food was very non de script. The chips were straight out of a bag. I ordered a Korean taco that was very spicy. The meat was poor quality picking out pieces of fat & gristle (ehh never order that again) The only saving grace was Amy our server. She is such a sweetheart & was awesome always checking to see if we needed anything. She comp'ed us a few shots which was very nice. She was rewarded very well for her personality and excellent service. Thanks Amy for stellar service you are very much appreciated

Last of my Wrigleyville bar hopping, this intimate bar offers a unique Hanukkah experience. Within these walls, the neighborhood bar is beautifully decorated with bright holiday lights, and of course has food, and drink specials. Vodka jelly doughnuts sounds interesting doesnt it? Alas I chose the tasty matzo ball soup. The perfect end to a long day of enjoying festivities before the holiday. I would suggest taking public transportation as the Red Line Cta train is nearby.

Every time I visit, the decor never ceases to impress. It's classy but unpretentious and you can tell folks are there to have a good time. We arrived at about 8:30pm on a Saturday and it was packed. Luckily, we were able to snag seats at a bar before a table opened up around 9pm. A note that they don't take reservations (but I kind of wish they did!), so this isn't the place to go if you're in a rush. They had a special seasonal menu going for the holiday, and we started with the reuben hush puppies. While they were more like croquettes, they were extra crispy, cheesy, and juicy with the most delicious thousand island dressing. I wish they would offer this year round! For mains, we ordered the corned beef and buddha bowl. I really liked the horseradish aioli that came with the beef- while the meat could've been more tender, it had a great flavor overall. The cabbage actually tasted pickled and the carrots sweet; non-traditional, but tasty! The buddha bowl had a very wide range of veggies and perfectly cooked rice. I could drink that spicy peanut sauce. I appreciated how large the portions were, which definitely softened the price as we left with plenty of leftovers. All in all, we had a great experience- if you haven't checked Wilde out, I highly recommend doing so!

(Kari's Rating 8/10)…read more Came in on a Friday night about 8 o'clock, and I didn't realize there was a basketball game tonight, so the bar was really packed with IU fans. I heard off this place from an Instagram video from a food blogger. There wasn't initially seating when we first got in, but the bartender/hostess helped us make a makeshift table. We also didn't have a chair so she had to go find a chair and she found one so really appreciate her hustle. The wings came out pretty quickly, the honey barbecue wings were really sweet, and came with a substantial amount of sauce. The ranch was impeccable. It was not too thin and came with celery. The birds nest hot sauce was relatively hot for a medium. I was definitely feeling the spice after two or three. I think there was a little too much sauce on the wings for me, personally, but overall very good. The volume is really loud because everyone was there for the game, so we kinda had to yell over each other to have a conversation. We got our check pretty quickly and the servers were really attentive. I would definitely come back if I was in the area, but I probably wouldn't come all the way from River North for this again.

We were there on Friday, so the fish and chips were all-you-can-eat. So crispy on the outside and flakey on the inside. So yummy. If you've never had proper Stovies, this is your chance to try them. Potatoes and onions with bits of roast kind of like mashed potatoes or a very thick stew. So yummy. Whiskey fans, you'll love the huge selection along with the impressive beer selection. Yelp should really hype this as a whiskey bar, too. It more than qualifies. The cuisine is phenomenal. Definitely a place to bring a large party on your first visit, so you can sample a multitude of wonderful creations. Pro Tip: if you can tolerate a large quantity of fish, visit on a Wednesday for their AYCE Fish & Chips. I've had many hum drum AYCE dinners that are drab and only fill you up. Not this one. It's a great meal and a great deal. The Shepherd's Pie was fabulous, as was the Bangers and Mash. They've created a Haggis Burger that has to appease Americans, yet, still be haggis. A tall order since most would hate "true" haggis. Fear not, it's not your grandfather's haggis, it is a tasty burger. The fries were great but I'd recommend the Tattie Skins. We tasted so many different malts it was hard to pick a favourite. No foolin' they had island malts, highland malts, speyside and even a couple from the lowlands. Easy to spend over two hours in this public house. We did. Can't wait to get back to this town. This is a must! 02/26
