You can't expect much from this place but the basics let me down. The service was extremely slow, the food server kept bringing food to the wrong tables and when you asked for sauce, they had to go and tell your server to get it for you which is super inefficient. The happy hour isn't very clear. My beer definitely tasted off. It was a Blue Moon but very sour...and it wasn't just mine that tasty funky, definitely the draft. The burger bun was stale and so were the fries. The actual burger was not horrible but nothing amazing.

World Cup and UFC playing. WTH?!

The food is terrible. The wings are dry, the apple salad with vinaigrette tasted like straight out of a bottle (tasteless). I asked my server to change the channel in one of their tv to play the World Cup game and they refused. Anyway, they should improve their food menu and be more friendly with customers.

My husband and I recently visited Dave & Buster's, and we were pleasantly surprised! We both love arcade games, so finding this place so close to our place was a big plus. They have a nice variety of games, and since we're both competitive, it was so much fun to play, earn tickets, and feel that one day we can take something from their "store". The only downside, and it's partly our mistake, is that we didn't realize you can link your food and drink purchases to your Dave & Buster's Rewards account to earn extra credits. We found out about it later. We also plan to buy a Power Card Pass next time since it saves money if you stay for a while. The food and drinks are on the pricey side though. We ordered two cocktails for $36, and honestly, we didn't like them. That part was disappointing. We haven't tried the food yet, but I've read after our visit that members (Silver, Gold, or Platinum) get 10-30% off, which is nice. I also love that they have Trivia Tuesdays, I've never tried quiz games here in the U.S., and it sounds so fun! Wednesdays offer 50% off games, which is awesome, although it's a bit tricky since it's during the workweek. Still, it's smart marketing and a great incentive to come back. Overall, despite the drink issue, I'm giving this place 5 stars because of the atmosphere, the variety of games, and how much fun we had. We'll definitely be back soon, especially to check out those Tuesday quizzes! P.S. If you think that some machines took your tickets but you didn't play them, don't hesitate to ask a worker, they will reimburse you.

Took nephew here to celebrate his birthday. Arrived at around 6pm and we were seated quickly. Dinner first and then games. Usually go just to take the kids to play and don't usually stay for meals there. Surprisingly, the food was good. Nephew (9) said he wasn't hungry and only wanted fries. My suspicion - he wanted to eat fast so he could play. Hubs ordered the ribeye - decent ribeye portion and flavorful. I ordered the steak bowl which came with cauliflower, arugula, peppers and onion, tomatoes, hard boiled egg and guacamole. Everything was seasoned well - just wished there was more steak. Server checked on us often and was attentive. Good to know that the food is decent - would definitely consider returning for a meal next time kids want to play.

This place is amazing! I've been coming here for few years now. Mostly recently yesterday. Perfect hangout place to chill and enjoy the company of your favorite people. The employees here work very hard and are always friendly and helpful, considering the high stress environment they are in most of the time. They have a very impressive number of games to play for kids and adults. FYI, They have someone taking pictures for you, THEY ARE NOT FREE! Pictures cost $20 each and they give you a discount if you buy more than one. We ended up paying $90 for five pictures + tips.

Went with group of 8. The service was attentive and quick, even quick free soda refills. They have a lot of promotions, they had a trivia contest with game card prizes (we won 2). As the restaurant is in the mall, parking is not a problem and the restaurant is enormous, so on a week day there is a LOT of extra seats. The food was reasonably priced and good. The really big games are fun, but the unlimited play games are the non-ticket less exciting games

It does get a bit crowded in the front with all of the people but if you have a reservation you usually won't wait long. We had one and waited a little less than ten minutes. Not bad. Joe's is always pretty lively. Everyone's having a good time. The wait staff will be often chatting up different tables of people which does make the service take a bit long. It was at least 10-15 minutes until our server finally approached. We ordered the calamari and cheesy garlic bread as appetizers. The calamari was a generous portion and was perfectly crispy and seasoned. The cheesy bread was good too though maybe unnecessary since joe's gives you sourdough for the table which is delicious itself. I'd probably try the spinach and artichoke dip instead next time I got their famous hamburger for dinner and added cheese to this. When I tell you this burger is incredible I am putting it lightly. The meat is so juicy and succulent. The seasoning and flavor of the beef is the real star. The cheese adds even more richness. The sturdy sourdough bread has a such a satisfying chew while holding everything together and not getting soggy. No notes. The banana peppers on the side give you the break you need from the richness to go back in for more. The sandwich is so big I always end up taking the second half home. Fries are great too they're very reminiscent to a fresh McDonald's French fry. We finished by sharing a butter cake. It came with assorted berries, vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. I couldn't think of a better dessert to end this meal because every dish we had shined in its simplicity and execution. And the dessert was no different. The caramelized edges of the cake added so much texture and flavor. The berries gave that much needed tartness and the ice cream brought everything together. Overall the food is consistent, classic and shows a deep understanding of what people want to eat. I'd only take a star away because of how slow the service is. Being able to order drinks was a long process and wait. It was hard to find our waiter at points or anyone to get our check for us. But I get they're busy so I won't hold it against them. The food more than makes up for it and if they manage to get quicker service and ticket times this place would definitely be a 5/5

Let's start with the food. My partner and I had the Mexican Hash and Elvis pancakes, respectively. My partner (who is Mexican) was not impressed by the hash, and said it didn't taste very authentic. I enjoyed the Elvis pancakes--named for the fact that they're made with peanut butter, honey, and bananas. The flavor profile was good, but the pancakes were chewy and dry. I enjoyed the flavors, which is the only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1. Beyond that, the service was not great. Our table was dirty and while the server said she would come clean it for us, she never did. The table only had one set of silverware and I was never brought any during our meal, I had to grab them off of an adjacent table. We were not given water, or asked if we wanted any, and our server checked in on us so infrequently that we had to flag down a different one just to ask for water. The prices were fine. Nothing unusual for the Bay Area, so that was a bonus at least, but there's no way I'm ever going back.

1-Star Review - I Wish I Could Give Zero Stars…read more I wish I could give this place zero stars. We came in on a Sunday, and there was hardly anyone there--no wait and plenty of open lanes. We started by trying to order drinks, but were told there was no bartender. Fine, we moved on. When my fiancée asked if they had socks, the employee simply shook their head. No explanation, no "sorry," nothing. We ended up going to Goodwill to buy a pair just so we could bowl. Once we finally got on our lane, it malfunctioned three different times. After the third issue, I asked for a refund because it was clear we weren't going to have a smooth experience. The only positive thing I can say is that the facility was nice and clean. Unfortunately, clean floors don't make up for poor customer service and equipment that constantly breaks down. If your bowling lanes are having issues, the least you can do is be friendly, apologize, and try to make things right. Needless to say, we won't be coming back.

Overall this place could probably use a lot of TLC - the lanes had a bunch that weren't working, but since the place was pretty empty when we arrived it wasn't a problem for us. Balls and lanes were a bit beaten up and dinged up. There's a whole back section with arcade games, a section for a bar, and a small seating area in the front for food. The lady at the front was a bit stoic at first, but actually pretty funny and friendly as we were just chatting while I waited for my colleagues to arrive. The lady at the bar was nice enough as well. Food was probably 1-2 stars for me - menu was limited and even the food on the menu wasn't necessarily available. The pizza was edible and my colleagues said the tacos actually weren't that bad, but the soda was super watered down and I did end up with a stomachache after dinner. I probably wouldn't come here unless it were another team building event, but at least it got the job done.

The restaurant has a full bar and dining area. The place has the feel of a family Italian restaurant. It is quaint and comfortable. I think I could've easily just eaten the soup and salad and would have been very happy. The house salad - 8/10 - had a wonderful homemade Italian dressing. This was the best house salad I have ever had. Calamari steak - 7/10 - this was cooked very nicely and was piled high with garlic. The garlic wasn't overpowering at all and mixed well with the tartar sauce. The mash potatoes - 8.5/10 - were amazing and creamy. The menu had a wide variety of dishes. Given how good everything we had was, I would guess everything on the menu is likely just as good. Last but not least our server Audrey was great. She was attentive, pleasant, always there when we needed something, but never there too much. Audrey made the whole experience just that much better. I would highly recommend.
