It's a bar. With games. So expectations weren't high. The kids had a great time and that's what matters. The burgers were good. The cherry icees were a hit. Food came out fast. Would have been nice if the server could have pointed out the kids portions part of the menu before we ordered. Went here with a friend who had never been to D&B before and it was a great time. Parking was a bit tight since we coincidentally went during MMA fight night, it was definitely packed. We sat in the bar area and ordered some drinks and wings. Our waitress was extremely busy but she never forgot about us. She was very sweet and attentive. I unfortunately forgot her name but hope she is recognized for her hard work. After eating we decided to play some games which was a great time but the only issue was experiencing games being unavailable due to a reset I assume. When I asked a staff worker they said it would be turned back on soon but did take quite some time. After the second outage we headed back to the bar for a drink. You can't expect much from this place but the basics let me down. The service was extremely slow, the food server kept bringing food to the wrong tables and when you asked for sauce, they had to go and tell your server to get it for you which is super inefficient. The happy hour isn't very clear. My beer definitely tasted off. It was a Blue Moon but very sour...and it wasn't just mine that tasty funky, definitely the draft. My husband and I recently visited Dave & Buster's, and we were pleasantly surprised! We both love arcade games, so finding this place so close to our place was a big plus. They have a nice variety of games, and since we're both competitive, it was so much fun to play, earn tickets, and feel that one day we can take something from their "store". The only downside, and it's partly our mistake, is that we didn't realize you can link your food and drink purchases to your Dave & Buster's Rewards account to earn extra credits. We found out about it later. We also plan to buy a Power Card Pass next time since it saves money if you stay for a while. The food and drinks are on the pricey side though. We ordered two cocktails for $36, and honestly, we didn't like them. That part was disappointing. We haven't tried the food yet, but I've read after our visit that members (Silver, Gold, or Platinum) get 10-30% off, which is nice. I also love that they have Trivia Tuesdays, I've never tried quiz games here in the U.S., and it sounds so fun! Wednesdays offer 50% off games, which is awesome, although it's a bit tricky since it's during the workweek. Still, it's smart marketing and a great incentive to come back. Overall, despite the drink issue, I'm giving this place 5 stars because of the atmosphere, the variety of games, and how much fun we had. We'll definitely be back soon, especially to check out those Tuesday quizzes! P.S. Took nephew here to celebrate his birthday. Arrived at around 6pm and we were seated quickly. Dinner first and then games. Usually go just to take the kids to play and don't usually stay for meals there. Surprisingly, the food was good. Nephew (9) said he wasn't hungry and only wanted fries. My suspicion - he wanted to eat fast so he could play. Hubs ordered the ribeye - decent ribeye portion and flavorful. I ordered the steak bowl which came with cauliflower, arugula, peppers and onion, tomatoes, hard boiled egg and guacamole. Everything was seasoned well - just wished there was more steak. This place is amazing! I've been coming here for few years now. Mostly recently yesterday. Perfect hangout place to chill and enjoy the company of your favorite people. The employees here work very hard and are always friendly and helpful, considering the high stress environment they are in most of the time. They have a very impressive number of games to play for kids and adults. FYI, They have someone taking pictures for you, THEY ARE NOT FREE! Came on a Sunday football game day to cheer on the 49ers! We also played some arcade games--they have quite a few classics and some of the newer games as well, like this cool UFC one where you punch/kick at this lit-up bag. It was definitely more on the packed side, presumably because all the dads brought their kids to be occupied at the arcade while they watched football lol I loved the energy at the restaurant/bar area--they run deals like $10 wings. We just had some small bites to eat and shared a side salad (dressing was a bit overkill, but a good portion) and iced tea. Will be back to watch more football games!! read more

Eight year old birthday party...kids loved it of course which is all that really matters. Having the pass card for hours was amazing for the kids. They were very excited and it was fun to see them all so happy. However, from an adult point of view...omg...the millions of tickets got the kids all kinds of cheap junk and sugary candies. Pathetic. Luckily the kids don't know any better and again...they loved it. Now the food...OMG...terrible. Doughy, horrible pizza and cold french fries. Came for a children's birthday party on a Sunday and left with a splitting headache and ringing ears. During commercials they would cut the audio to allow a dj to play music at reasonable volumes. located in the back of serramonte center...large lot, but parking is tough on weekends...late afternoon/early evening visit...plenty of tables and not crowded...probably gets busier in the evening...full bar, table service restaurant and arcade/games...$10 gets you 48-chip play card and $20 for 100-chip play card...pay more for more incremental chips...food and play card bundles sold as another option...there are many options to just eat or play, or do both...many of the games take about 8 chips per play...less on some machines and more on others...there are games for tickets/points that can be traded for candy or toys...like a chuck e. cheese for adults or older kids...for the food, the fried items seemed okay...fried battered boneless chicken chunks, french fries, buffalo wings, etc. were all okay...hamburgers and pretzel dogs were okay too...pizza was really doughy and wouldn't recommend...fun for kids, but they go through the play card so quickly...$30 to $40 worth of a play card lasted about an hour for each child...for adults, there are better places for food and drinks, but might be fun for a date night for couples that enjoy playing games while getting drinks... read more

I decided to take the kids to the City for some fun, and we go to the DNB's in Modesto near where we live. Dave N Buster's is always a good time, you're better off splurging if possible on a higher priced player card for the games if you can swing as you get way more for your buck. This place is geared towards kids & adults which is smart, the kiddie places adults don't enjoy as much, DNB's has a restaurant, bar, places to watch sporting events, host birthday parties, and tons of options for video games. If you try and build your tickets though, make sure it's to have some fun while doing it, typically the money you're spending on the player cards to get a certain prize you can just buy the prize on the internet for probably 5-10 time cheaper. This place is located at the Serramonte shopping center/mall area. The place was pretty busy as there was 2 fights on this night, a UFC PPV, & Jake Paul boxing match. There's plenty of places to sit, & TVs too. Their video games seemed pretty similar to their other locations. Lots of games to try and win tickets, & others that are just for competition. All the kids got their food at the same time; nice & hot too. Adults served next. The little things; (glass of ice, mustard) was asked for and delivered with utmost courtesy. My kid and I came in after visiting the mall for some nachos and drinks. I had the Jack Daniel's Sour Cherry Slushy high was dangerously delicious since you couldn't detect too much of the whiskey. My daughter had the strawberry lemonade which she only drank half of. The chicken fajita nachos were lackluster because there was hardly any chicken. Despite asking for no jalapeños we got them anyway. That part is an honest mistake and we simply picked them out. The service was inattentive and seemed a bit aloof. The best part of the service was the young man who brought us our food. He was really friendly and had a great energy. I love Dave and Busters as a venue to grab a drink, watch a game, grab a bite, and play games with my kids but I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND D&B for your party. SERVICE SHOULD EQUAL $ SPENT. Our event was stressful from the start. We were arguing with the people in the original room that was reserved because no one informed us they moved our room. You only get 30 minutes to set-up, and no one was there to greet us so we had to find staff to clarify the change. They compensated us drink tickets but that doesn't make up for stress and lost time because we only had 15 minutes left. I had arranged in my contract for the food to start at 3p but the manager asked for more time until 3:30p. They didn't have the food ready until 3:40p and my guests were hungry. Once the food was delivered, the staff disappeared like it was a Door Dash delivery service. They didn't even have dedicated staff in the room the whole time. Staff appeared to be helping two other event rooms. We literally had to hunt them down to get service. Even PUMP IT Up has staff standing around to help you and you have to bring your own food. My husband and I were clearing plates from our tables just to set up the cake up because no one was around. We were finally able to find staff to wipe the table down. No one told us that our drink tickets needed to be ordered through event staff until the bartenders said something, and once we did the drinks took twice as long. Unless they fix this problem, DO NOT PLAN YOUR EVENT HERE unless you want to hunt down service. read more

Came here on Veteran's Day with the hubs to get their special of $20 off an entree + a $10 Power Card to play, and it was a decent experience. The place was decently busy. A lot of families who brought their small children to play, so a lot of them were running around. The restaurant wasn't too busy, but they were down a server when we first arrived, so it was a moment before we got seated. We waited about 15ish mins before we were brought to a table. We ended up getting an order of wings, elote cauliflower, a side of their cheese stick stack, and a teamonade to drink. All of it was decent, nothing spectacular, but we were ok with that. Our server gave off the vibe like he was ready to bounce up out of there, and he let us know that he would be done with his shift shortly after we ordered our food. So, he wasn't unfriendly, but also probably had no nice customer service left in him at that point of his shift LOL. We've been to this location before, and we honestly have no real expectations for service when we come here. Mainly because we don't usually dine in and just come for the games. Food was rreeeallllyyy good for a sports bar place; far exceeded my expectations of a place like this. I expected mediocre food with minimal seasoning but after this experience, I would come back in the future just to eat here instead of other restaurants in the area. This is a perfectly solid location. While I do personally prefer the new Oakland location, this is a matter of personal game selection preferences. I was just there and the service and atmosphere was great. This one is a bit larger and also has a pretty decent selection of games. It also appears to have slightly more blue swipe games, which is sure to be a plus for some. This and the larger size are why I feel it still firmly deserves 4 stars. However, because it is Dave and Buster's, the poor value bar outside of happy hour and lack of plant-based options are still drawbacks that some may weigh more heavily than I do if you care about the food or bar over the games. read more

Many games dont work but it takes your money. We reported it and they gave us credit for another game that was broken. These games are expensive. Thet Theyy should regularly test them and fix them and or put an out of order sign. So many of them were broken that I don't know if I would go back for a while. This is my local Dave & Buster's and is arguably one of my favorite places. The service is a little slow, but I love the ambiance and drinks so much that it doesn't bother me. The food is just okay, standard for a sports bar. I really enjoy coming to go for a few drinks and hangout with friends. My go to is usually a mojito and the cantina nachos. I try to avoid going whenever there's any kind of game or fight because of crowds, and they recently started charging a small fee for entry on those days which I don't love. Like an adult Chuck-e-Cheese, this place is fun for both adults and kids alike. You can get a game card and play from the various arcade games that they have to offer - it's easy to very quickly go through all of your points. Unfortunately, some of their games were broken so you're essentially wasting points on things that don't work, but for me, it's just one of the pain points that come with the territory of coming to a place like this. Once you've exhausted some energy playing the games, you can grab a bit to eat from their full service restaurant. And for the adults that need a bit of a pick-me-up, there is also a full-service bar available where you can get drinks and have them with you into the arcade room. read more

The beer was cold but both our glasses were dirty!! The beer had no lacing after two sips. The wing special was anything but special, over priced and bland even at $10. Wonderful experience at Dave and Busters yesterday. Our server Brena was super helpful with explaining the eat and play. Super cheap meal while my kids can play. She always checked on our table and refilled our drinks. The fish and chips were crispy. The managrr took too long to change the TV to the Valkyries game which Brena updated me on and when the manager remembered, the game was already over. Only reason I'm giving four stars is because of the management but the server was excellent! read more

The food was presented well I wish I would tell you how good it was. I didn't have time to eat it since I was hosting. Most parties rent for three hours. When you rent all three rooms, you can dim the lights on two rooms to make the center room a dance floor. We had a great experience. Comfortably it's 125 to 150 people. They really need to showcase these rooms and show you all the options you have. read more
