I love this local spot! Ever since I moved to Tujunga, I stop by or order takeout/delivery from here a few times a month. The food is flavorful and consistent. I've tried a variety of dishes and they've all been seasoned & cooked well. The service is friendly and fast. I never had to wait too long or any other negative experience with staff. The ambiance is casual and clean. I can always find an available table/chair(s), and it's always entertaining to see what they have on the TV, whether it's videos of someone cooking street food across the world or an interesting science documentary. Been to this place when the original owners lived in the parking lot. Now it's under new ownership and the place got a small face lift. The quality of the food is definitely better, had their breakfast and dinner. We have been coming here for very long time, the mom and pops shop was always doing great, but then we moved from the neighborhood. However, today I had errands to run in the area and decided to try it out for old tim. Not disappointed at all, great and friendly service, remodeled. Everything is clean and cozy. I got my usual chicken break sandwich, and chicken nuggets. Happy to say that food quality stayed the same. Super delicious and very fresh, not surprise that they are still around. I've seen this place on my way to take my son to soccer and finally decided to stop for lunch. Lots of parking, service was great quick and friendly. Huge food menu but I knew I wanted to try the burgers and they did not disappoint! Fresh and made to order the fries had a delicious seasoning to them so good. Onion rings were yummy as well. Had a breakfast burrito. It was certainly a lot of food, so that was good. I was however somewhat surprised to find that they cooked the sausages by deep fat frying them, which makes the sausages have somewhat the texture of bacon. It wasn't what was expecting. That said, I will be going back to try their burger because that comes highly recommended. We were heading home from the SFV and looking for a place to get something quick to eat on the way home, when we spotted info online about this place. The restaurant has a very small parking lot on a pretty busy street, so getting in to the lot was a little tricky; it took a little patience to get parked. Drive - through isn't an option at this restaurant. The odd thing about the place that in spite of the positive reviews we'd seen and that it was about five in the afternoon, the place was absolutely dead - we maybe saw one other customer the whole time we were there. The place was eerily quiet, except for the TVs in the place showing local news from a station in Texas, and the windows seemed pretty dark, too. That was the extent of the ambiance of the place. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries, and my wife ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and onion rings. The counter person was very friendly and asked questions about how we liked our order; the order took a little while to get ready, but the food itself was pretty good. In spite of the tricky parking lot and the weird vibe we got from the place, we enjoyed our meal from the restaurant. It might not hurt for the owners to redecorate or add some music to give the place a bit more upbeat vibe; in the meantime, come on by to get something to eat, but you should probably get your meal to go. read more

Its all the same just a different look and new owners and some new people but other than that its still the same good ol place we knew and loved in this neighborhood. The vibe is also great everyone working here is so happy to be open again and everyone coming in is just as happy. As I was walking in there was a guy walking by and he asked me "wait! There open again!?" I was like yep and he was sooo excited. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, onion rings and a hot dog. One thing I noticed though that I will miss is the breakfast. They do have breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos but nothing like pancakes and such. I order a double cheese combo with onion rings. I had my hopes up that it would taste same or similar to the original super char but I left in disappointment. The burger wasn't as juicy as I remember and the onion rings have a funny churro taste and they didn't have zucchini fries on there menu.
