Said food would be about 15 minutes There is a large parking lot so no problem finding a space For COVID they have a table at the front door to order and pick up. They take cash and cards My husband ordered the grilled salmon plate which was delicious. The fish was fresh, juicy and had great flavor. Comes with rice and beans You have a choice of brown or Spanish rice. For the beans you can have either whole pinto or whole black beans I ordered the taco plate with veggie tacos. I loved this place! I came here with a friend for lunch and had a great experience. The man taking our order was so friendly! He chatted with us a ton, especially with my friend who spoke Spanish. You could tell he liked that he could communicate with her in that way. The food is a great portion for the price and tasted great for the most part. The tofu was a little bland, but nothing some sauce couldn't help! I love places with solid vegan options! Somewhere everyone can eat! Because it is in a shopping center, there is a ton of parking, but there is very minimal seating, so this would be for take out, or just a one on one lunch or something small. I got a couple burritos and all the elements (carnitas, beans, rice, gauc, cheese, salsa, etc) were pretty good, but both burritos were super disappointing because all the toppings were in one end and all the carnitas were on the other end. So I ate a creamy, guacamole burrito for the first half and had mouthfuls of only carnitas for the back half. I want to go back and try again, but it was disappointing that both of our burritos were this way. Seems like the staff needs more training for quality control. read more

Pacifica and Daly City don't have a lot of variety or great places to dine out. I had hopes that Green Enchilada would be different since a couple of locals recommended it. It is okay in terms of food, and I might go there more often if there were any place to sit. t's pretty much carry out only with a couple of tables that are usually not even available. I moved from Palo Alto/Mt. View/:os Altos and there is really nothing as good as some of their worst. Carne Asada fries is one of the best things on the menu. That and half the rotisserie chicken. So glad they re-opened back up because they are the best spot in the area. Food taste fresh and well seasoned. Steak isn't tough or chopped up into tiny peices. When the owner was there one night couple of years ago, he made me some of the best ceviche I have had. Not sure what happened to this place, but a few years ago it was great. Today I ordered a chicken burrito w/ cheese (which was about $1 extra). The burrito did not contain any cheese. I ordered it w/ Spanish rice. The rice was not fully cooked, so parts of the burrito contained hard uncooked pieces of rice. I also ordered it with Black beans. Well you guessed it... undercooked beans as well. While the burrito is giant in size, there is plenty of meat, unfortunately, under cooked rice and beans will ruin the entire meal. And paying for an extra that was omitted out of the burrito itself... go somewhere else for $15. Unclear on why their reviews are so skewed. Food was so mediocre. I cannot even start to wonder why it's rated so high. Maybe folks in the area don't have anything to compare it to but I found it extremely overpriced, too divey, and though staff were nice, I don't expect to pay $46 for microwaved Mexican food. Enchiladas (green) were gross. Too sweet. Not sure what they are using to cook their chicken in, but aside sugar, I couldn't taste a thing. My fiancé got the molè enchiladas and it too was sweet. Not the sauce (to be expected) but the meat. Stringy and just not good. As I said food was clearly microwaved to be warmed up which is fine if I'm at home. Not spending that kind of money for that slop. I wouldn't come back here if you paid me. It's getting hard to find good spots for lunch in this area. To add to their crummy ambiance, there is huge construction going on next door so aside the jackhammers going nonstop, you get to pay tons of money for a lackluster meal. I was stuck in the city while waiting for my boyfriend to get off work and this place had popped up in my search for outdoor dining and dog friendly! We ate outside, I got a side of chicken for my dog and i got chilaquiles for myself. The tortilla chips? Still crunchy while the sauce seeped through and the cheese was melted just right. The beans? Just like your mamas beans. The salsa? Like they went to the farmers market next door and got those tomatoes chilis fresh. 10/10 if I lived in the area I'd be getting this shit every day. It is hit and miss. Food is not consistent. Ordered huevos rancheros and it had an egg in a fried tortilla hole and the other egg (assuming there was one) disintegrated into the other tortilla. There was a hole in the bottom of the to go paper box from the heat of the fried tortilla. The burrito was good, but it didn't have much meat in it. I guess it was the kitchen off day. This place was so yummy! My order was on time and ready to go upon arrival. I ordered the tofu taco, a hard taco and soft taco. The way they grilled the tofu is pretty amazing considering it gives the texture and taste of pollo asado tacos. I'm 2 years vegan and used to love eating tacos so finding vegan taco alternatives is nice! Will try again when I'm in the area, definitely worth it! What a great taqueria! I can't believe I haven't been here before. My wife and I stopped in for lunch looking for a healthier alternative to a traditional Mexican taqueria and we settled on The Green Enchilada. We both ordered the Tofu Veg-out with brown rice and black beans. It was great! It was a good size burrito, comparable in size to most "super burritos" you get anywhere. If anything it was a little bigger. The tofu was seasoned well and had a lot of flavor to it. The service was fast enough however we were the only customers there at the time because we ate lunch a little early to avoid the lunchtime rush. My only real negative is that they could step up on the cleanliness some. The place did seem kind of dirty, but I wouldn't say that is enough to keep me away. I also wish there was more seating available, but it's a small space so they do the best with what they have I suppose. read more

While I highly appreciate the vegan options, and the burrito itself tasted great, I won't go back. The employee who took my order couldn't have been more professional and friendly, I would like to add. Very kind. :) Here is where it got bad....the order was very expensive. I paid $30 for two burritos (rice and bean only) and chips and salsa. When I asked for the bag of chips, I was told that was an additional $5.95. Expensive but okay. I was then told I would need to pay more money if I wanted salsa to dip them in. And I don't mean a large salsa, I had to pay for the small 1 ounce ramekins of salsa. First, I kinda expect a small bag of chips plus small salsa free when ordering Mexican food but if I am going to be charged double the price of grocery store chips, throw in some salsa. Needless to say, I can't recommend this place no matter how nice the woman who took my order was. Too bad because the menu is all-inclusive. read more

I came here for taco Tuesday! There are small cute tables inside the place and a couple of tables for outside seating as well. But there is pretty loud construction going on outside so might want to stay indoors. I tried the carne Asada, chicken, pulled pork and al pastor tacos. All the meats were super flavorful, tender and juicy. Not to mention the portion! I've never had so much meat plated on tacos. Also, With a $15 purchase you also get free garlic fries!! Yay double win! The fries are a bit oily but I still liked them. Definitely had the right punch of garlic. The only thing that would make this place better is the salsa.
