All in all after a ton work on my end I got what I needed but not without a ton of hassle and ZERO customer support.

Vagher was competitive, not the low bid, but it was clear Mike knew his stuff. He sets expectations and commitments which he plans to meet. He let us know right away his schedule and how to get on his calendar. He and his team showed up on the day he committed and worked full days until the job was done. These guys take pride in their work. They called me when they needed our opinion on something and made suggestions based on experience and current trends. They included dust mitigation in the big which worked out nicely. They cleaned up after themselves and prepped trim for paint, you'll want to plan to touch up or repaint trim after the job. This project required us to move everything out of kitchen and living areas and Vagher's needed additional room in the garage too. They have all the right tools and it's obvious from the results they know how to use them. If you have a project where good craftsmanship matters most, these guys are a good option. McDonald Carpet One does tile areas too and did our entry area in the 2018 phase with the kitchen floor and new upstairs carpet, 3 bedrooms, a hall and full flight of stairs. That construction had not been level enough for hardwood as the floor joists had to be laid over the very old beams. The tile manufacturer was sold out and redesigning the companion smaller tile so nothing was available to do the fireplace hearth, even if we could have paid for it at the time. Fast forward to this spring and now they did have a companion tile. I'll admit the color lot changed a bit but it is still quite acceptable and looks good with the hardware around the metal fire doors and the decor in the mantle. April, the staff member I had used in the past set it up for us. They do have other staff too and the owner stays close to operations. We have had years of good projects with them so please also read my previous review. I am glad this final renovation to our house is done and glad I could use so many longtime reliable Boulder companies.

We hired New Horizons Flooring to do a major project at our home. They removed wall to wall…read morecarpeting, replaced it all with hardwood floors throughout our home, did a tile install in our master bathroom, replaced all the baseboards, and even installed solid oak stair treads. They also removed our old stair rails and replaced them with custom wrought iron rails, integrating them seamlessly into the hardwood handrail and upper landing rail. This was by far the biggest project we've ever had done in our home, so we wanted to be sure we hired someone who could do it right. John's(the owner) estimate was reasonable and comprehensive, and he worked with us every step of the way on all aesthetic choices like stain, layout, etc. His suggestions were always solid and valuable. The wood he selected for our job was of very high quality, and it shows on the floor. The crews showed up on schedule, every day, and worked hard to keep things on schedule. They are also great guys. We were always comfortable having them in our home, even when we weren't there. When they were done, the floors, stair rails, and baseboards were amazing. The few little touch up areas (a lot fewer than we expected on a job this size) were no big deal, and John worked with us to take care of them quickly and beautifully. He was always easy to reach by phone,text,email and responded quickly to any questions/concerns we had during the project. We were worried that given the size and complexity of the work, we'd have trouble finding a contractor well qualified enough to do it right. It turns out we had nothing to be worried about.
