So looking for a nice place to have lunch and be away from the office for a bit of quiet, I decided to try the Green Olive. It fit the bill for a number of reasons. One is the hospitality made it all the more inviting. The service was great. Two, as full as the parking lot was, it wasn't overly crowded for the small dining area. Which made for a quit and comfortable dining experience. As much as I only had an hour, as I had to get back to the office, it was considered a late lunch. It was past 2pm, and that may have been the perfect time. Since I like to try a variety if offered at new restaurants, to me, I ordered a combo. The beef was tender upon biting it, and although chewy, it was good. The gyro meat was nicely seasoned, and I don't think I have ever had a bad once. Now the chicken, was tender on the inside, but a little crisp on the outside. I don't mean like fried chicken crisp, but grilled. To give it a fair review, I was kind of rushing at this point to finish. So I didn't even finish my rice. Overall, I will be back and try something else. My dad wanted Mediterranean food for Father's Day and this hidden gem delivered! I always pass by it, but it is pretty hidden. This was the closest restaurant to me so I decided to try it out, and I was not disappointed. The plates are packed with food, so you can definitely share. My favorite was the steak it was so tender and delicious. The chicken was juicy, the falafel was full of flavor, and the beef kabobs were also very tasty. The only complaint is that the rice was a little hard, but it had good flavor. The workers were very nice and helpful. The inside is small, but they get alot of orders to go, so you might wait around 10 minutes for your food. We ordered the Works, delicious. A taste of almost everything. The falafel spiced just right and the dolma are moist and lemony, both are better than what I had recently. The chicken and beef kabob are tender and flavorful. The minced beef /kofta spiced just right too. The green sauce/green jalapeno sauce is spicy and goes well with the meat. It is not in the other middle eastern restaurants. The petite baklava complete the meal. It's crispy,loads of walnuts but not overly sweet. I literally cannot get enough of The Green Olive! Best Mediterranean food I've had. They definitely set the bar in my eyes & trust me when I saw I've tried plenty of Mediterranean restaurants. They definitely have dishes & dressing I can't find anywhere. My usual is the falafel Platter which has golden brown falafel patties served with tahini sauce and pickled turnips but I've tried a good deal of their menu and it's delicious. So far no disappointment here. Some of my favorites are the salmon wrap, falafel wrap, tabouli, Fattouche salad which comes with seasoned crisp medley of romaine lettuce, cucumbers, radishes, green onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, olive oil, and fresh squeezed lemon juice. Garnished with sumac and toasted pita chips, & their grilled veggies with perfect seasoning but what I can't get enough of it's their green hor sauce. It kind of reminds me of guacamole. That sauce is crack! & I haven't been about to find it now at any other Mediterranean restaurant. This location is in an industrial area by the former Farmer John's plant. The restaurant has seating inside but not much iits tiiny. Most of the orders I've had were pick up or delivery & the service is pretty good too. Trust me you won't be disappointed. The value for their meals is pretty good too. You definitely get a good size portion. read more

Staffers knew I was newbie by all the great questions I asked... so they were very patient and I never felt as if I was being rushed to order. Food came out about 5 minutes. Food Of Choice: I ended up getting the Superior. It contained 2 gyro's and a chicken kabob skewer. With the sides, I went with two helpings of hummus and the large salad that usually comes with entree. Everything was very good! The meat in the gyro's was well seasoned. The chicken kabob skewer was flavorful, tender, and delightful to eat. Definitely ask for more secret green sauce! Very yum! The hummus was great also! Definitely got my hummus fill! Definitely a book to not judge by its cover. A small little strip mall Mediterranean restaurant, that changed my view of what Mediterranean food can be.  First off, the staff was so friendly, and courteous. I got there a little before closing, and they didn't rush me, or pressure me.  And the price was on point. Not expensive, but compared to the quality of the food, an extreme value. The portions were big enough, I got two meals out of it.  Now for the food... I ordered up my dish, a three-piece combo of chicken, steak, and kafta, served with rice, and hummus. Now ordinarily, I avoid getting chicken kabobs. Most of the time when I order chicken kabobs, they come out dry. But not at The Green Olive. The chicken was cooked absolutely perfectly. It was juicy, and flavorful, and I couldn't get enough of it. The state was perfect as well. An immaculate medium well, that just melted in my mouth. And then the kafta... Immaculately seasoned, and truly delicious. Next time I'm in the area, I will have to come back here again, and again. I've got to try their falafel, because if it's anything like everything else, it will blow me away. This time I got my own. I was starving. I have been craving Mediterranean food. I ordered the number 9 (combo trio). It comes with chicken, grilled shrimp, Kafta, rice, salad, and hummus. Oh and a pita. I subbed tabouli for rice. There is an up charge for that. I also added a beef kabob. Service is friendly. Food is good. I love the garlic sauce. I did have to ask for it. This is review for Catering services, I called a few days before for quotes and the last person who answered phone was very kind, helpful, and very detailed to answer all of my questions. The day before I called to confirm details per plate, hence order ended up being from 50 to 60 and final number to be 40. The same day in the morning I called since they gave me until 930 to make final order. I have to say the service for being only two hours away made it work!!! The food was delicious, fresh, and tasty!!! The staff provided sauces, plates, utensils, and even included a hot bag to transport the food! All staff at my work was very pleased! I picked up take out lunch for someone else. I ordered their Chicken Kabob Plate. It came with two skewers, rice and a small salad. It included one piece of pita bread and a green dressing of some sort. They provided utensils, napkin. Meal was served in a to-go, microwaveable plate with lid. If they are always this quick at noon, on a Wednesday seizing what is expected to be lunch hour for many, then I would definitely like to recommend it based on my experience. The ambience is also clean and there are inside dining tables where you can enjoy your meal at the same establishment. Will update my review based on my buddy's review in terms of taste.
