Nancy at the counter always fast and efficient, she really knows her menu! They have a variety or plates, salads, wraps and sides! A few of my fan favorites include the works; comes with a little bit of everything, kafta, beef, chicken, 2 falafel and 2 stuffed grape leaves; chicken wrap is made with pita wrap bread, garlic paste, lettuce, tomatoes, their homemade salad dressing, the sides for their wraps are pickles turnips and your choice of spicy potatoes or salad; favorite salad would be the grilled veggie salad, with protein optional, it has onions, bell peppers, zucchini, yellow squash and corn all grilled and topped with their homemade balsamic dressing and feta cheese; their stuffed grape leaves and falafel are always a hit as well. I have yet to try their baklava but that is next on my list! They are located in a food plaza so there are a bunch of other eating establishments as well and their dining areas and restrooms are always spotless. Most of the establishments have the restroom code and WiFi password posted or if they don't you can always ask! The tvs mainly play the news and they have connections if you need to charge your phone or laptop. Overall this is one of my favorite place to eat. I started working in the area and decided to hit up this food court for lunch. Pretty cool place, they have places that sell salads, poke, Thai food, seafood, burgers, and a Mexican fusion place. I decided to try this place as it looked a little lighter and healthier than the other options. I got the #17 gyro meat pita wrap. It was decent, the meat and the pita were tasty, but the cucumber sauce was pretty bland. I wish they also had some more fresh veggies on there instead of just the few pieces of tomato. Came with either salad or spicy potatoes. I got the potatoes, nothing too special about them. Pretty big menu, lots of stuff to order and the portion size and price aren't too bad. They had a huge order from a nearby business, but my order still came out pretty quickly. It was a good meal, i might come back and try some of the other stuff on the menu. read more

Not sure what happened here but the quality is down the drain here. This used to be our go to place for work lunches. This is their kaftan plate combo. As you can see the meat is still raw! Texture is horrible almost like stretchy sausage with tendons bits on it, hard as a rock. Burnt on top raw in the middle. Hummus is from a can, rice is dry. It used to be good years ago. Everything was so fresh and so good I can't recommend it enough. Please get the baklava don't worry they took all the calories out of it (disclaimer just kidding). Regardless of calories it's some of the best baklava I've ever had I hope they don't buy it in mass quantities somewhere because if they do I'm a sucker. I decided to wait until I went back again to give this place a review, as I previously only had the eggplant wrap. The eggplant wrap was a little soggy, but no bad and I finished the whole thing happily. The spicy potatoes it comes with are oddly wet and greasy and are not the least bit pleasant. That said, I generally judge places on their veggie platter, so I eagerly awaited my return. The veggie platter was about as weak as anticipated. Seriously, just order hummus and pita, because those are the best parts by a lot. The eggplant is strangely devoid of all flavor except an eerie acrid taste. The parsley salad is okay. The grape leaves are strangely damp and have a very thin bite compared to other restaurant grape leaves. The falafel is incredibly strange. I don't know how they prepare it, but it is hard enough to resist a fork, but has a very strange crispy mouth-feel. I eat a ton of veggie platters and this one is by far the strangest in terms of flavor profile. The odd sogginess of many dishes and the strangely off-putting flavors and textures give me cause to believe that it is run by Eldritch beasts. read more

Having been a massive fan of the Green Olive location on Vermont for years now, I was thrilled to find one 4 minutes away from my worksite in Commerece. When I arrived, I was a little concerned when I discovered that it was just a tiny counter in a food-court, but gave it a try anyhow. I ordered a kebab plate and noticed the food was bland and nowhere near as flavorful as the Vermont location. I came back a week later to give it another try, this time ordering a wrap and their ever-so famous spicy potatoes. Was super disappointed when I got the potatoes: they were soggy, mushy and discolored. Not even remotely close to the flavors, texture of the other Green Olive locations. Every now and then my co workers and I will stop here for lunch and every single time, the food is amazing. I had to leave this review because yesterday all of us (5 in all) ordered a wrap. I had gyro while most the others had beef and we were all very satisfied and full. These wraps are very stuffed with which ever meat you order. It also comes with a side and beets. 3.5 There are so many amazing choices for Mediterranean. The food here is pretty good, but not amazing. The portions sizes are good. The prices are on the expensive side. I ordered the lamb. It comes with two skewers, a large serving of rice, a salad, and a generous amount of hummus. I was pleased by the amount of hummus they give. I needed to use two pitas and then some. The pitas are store bought, not made at the place. Overall, I've had a better Mediterranean experience for a couple of dollars less, so compared to Mediterranean places, I give it a 3.5. I've been coming here for a few years. It use to be close to my work and it was a great place that is only open during weekdays and closes early. It's catered to those who work around the area given there aren't much restaurants near the area. This place is still one of my favorite Mediterranean places. Their green sauce is very good and unique. I haven't had anything like it. I've tried other Mediterranean food but nothing brings me back to flavor the way this place does. I usually get the chicken kabob. Their chicken kabob is very good and grilled it's not heavy since it's made right on the grill. I also love their rice it's extremely flavorful. Their spicy potatoes are also very good. What I'm trying to say is the food is good! The lady who is here is also very kind and understanding of modifications to orders. I always change my chicken kabob order to have more salad than rice and instead of hummus I get potatoes. Overall, I was happy to be back yesterday considering I haven't stepped foot in years. I love this place. One of my favorite places to get lunch during work days. It's inside the Food Plaza with many other food choices but you can't go wrong with Mediterranean food. My favorite dish is the chicken kabob platter. It comes with 2 chicken kabos, salad with yogurt dressing, pilaf rice, and hummus. The green sauce is spicy and just right to add that extra kick. It's very convenient that you can place phone orders to beat the lunch rush. However, I went on Friday, 7/13/18 and ordered in person and order was made just in time. Expensive for the trash... and I eat Mediterranean A LOT. The yellow rice looked exactly like the yellow rice I make from the Zattaran's box that you buy at the store. You can tell they put too much water in the rice because it way too soft and mushy with no flavor. Shrimp on the kabob was burnt and scrawny. Beef was EXTREMELY TOUGH and NOT even CHEWABLE. I love all the food that I've tried here: the mixed plate, the chicken pita, and the chicken plate . The green sauce is so good! You should ask for extra when you pick up your order. The chicken pita wrap is not as substantial as the other plates. It doesn't come with rice or hummus. The plates also come with one piece of pita bread. This place has quickly become a favorite of mine since I've begun working in Commerce. It's literally a few buildings away from mine. You can't beat freshly made hummus with warm pita bread. CHICKEN KABOB - varies from dry to to very dry.. but this is still my go to. BEEF KABOB - not tender at all, kind of tough to eat SALMON KABOB - this was very good and juicy! But it takes a while so you should call it in. SPICY POTATO - soooo good, a must try if you love potatoes! Here, you have an alternative to the fast food drive thrus, pupuserias, taquerias, and mariscos restaurants in the area (don't get me wrong, those are good too, but they're a dime a dozen in this area). I usually get their daily special; meat, rice, salad, humus, pita, and a drink, all for $8. If you want an actual food review, read someone else's review ;o) PS.
