Ani's has a lovely outdoor seating area with a view of Churchill's Nursery. It's tiny inside and, when busy, can get a bit confusing as to who is ordering and who is waiting. I would describe this place as the anti-New York bagel shop. I asked if they served whitefish salad and all 5 of the women behind the counter, including Ani, looked at me like I was nuts. They never heard of whitefish, hmm? So I tried their overpriced Lox on a bagel. For $13.99 + tax + $3.00 suggested tip. Nope! The bagel is tasteless, the lox was a bit fishy, I couldn't taste the minuscule amount of onion or capers, and it was soaked in cucumber juice. If you want a legitimate New York bagel, go to Brooklyn bagel in Newington. They have whitefish and herring too. read more

They were so fresh and a great size. They were kind of pricey but definitely worth it! Our service was very quick and employees very helpful and friendly. It also was pretty busy, but they made sure to get our food out to us quickly! There wasn't much inside seating available, but they had an outdoor covered patio seating which was nice! Incredibly soft and delicious bagel! This is everything a bagel should be - soft on the inside with a crunch on the outside, warm and flavorful! Delicious bagels at a great price! I absolutely loved my lox bagel sandwich, which had the perfect amount of bread to salmon, not like those bagels that are 90% bread with a sliver of salmon. Well girl in counter making the stuff was monopolizing the conversation in the shed cafe by hitting in the ups guy. She didn't even care to say the smoothie was for me because she kept looking at the guy. First off he said he was getting married so that should end there. I even said thank you and tipped. No response. I will never again go here for crappy service. 2 the smoothie taste so damn bad. We love fresh local bagel places and happen to come across Ani's Bagel. This is a small place located next to a greenhouse. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich, my daughter got a French toast bagel and I got a jalapeño and cheddar bagel along with a spinach and avocado smoothie. These were the best bagels we have ever had. They were fresh and flavorful. The smoothie was good, but a little thick. Once you order you do have to wait outside at the takeout window for your order. These are not New York bagels, however for NH they are the best! They are always fresh, sometimes coming out of the oven as you order. There are salads, sandwiches, and drinks available in addition to the bagels and spreads! They have adjusted to COVID well, blocking off their doorway with a plexiglass wall and an ordering table, so customers do not enter the space! You pick up your order at another window!
