And I was so excited about this experience. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted. So nice and welcoming. The place is not big. Perfect setting and great ambiance. There is a nice size bar area and they had the hockey game on. Go Bolts!! We were seated in a booth. Our server Jason came right over with water. He had a new server Bri that he was training. She was really sweet and helpful. We placed a drink order. I had the Strawberry Basil Martini. My first martini ever and it was awesome. I will definitely get it again. For my entree I got the Shrimp Scampi. And my husband got the Smash Burger with fries. Let's start with him.... He cleaned his plate. He loved it. I enjoyed my meal as well. I have leftovers. Great place! Came here for a dinner on Sunday night and we were positively surprised. Service was outstanding and attentive. Ambience is more traditional. They had football on the TVs but we were seated far from it. The menu is very extensive. They have a big drinks menu but unfortunately they didn't had great mocktail options. We had cross creek salad to start and they weee able to split it so we each for a small plate. I had crabcakes entry and husband had swordfish, both dishes were amazing. I was quite excited to try this place because the food pictures on Yelp looked good and it has good reviews. I ordered a Cuban sandwich which comes with fries and a smash burger from the kids menu for our son. I got a burned Cuban, not a regular style as it had red sauce on it rather than mustard. It was ok. My son didn't want the burger and ate some of the Cuban. The burger was dry and the bread seemed dry and hard in some parts. The French fries looked homemade which I super appreciate. They did taste very dry especially inside. The Cuban was ok, the flavor was ok, but the burned bread really wasn't great. Service was nice and friendly, and I liked the tables with booth type sitting, it was comfortable. I would give it another shot maybe for dinner time as we came mid afternoon. Great local gem with great service, excellent wines and delectable dishes. Have tried them twice and both times were excellent. Ambiance: this is a small sized restaurant. Long bar with seating and two large TVs playing sports. Last visit one set had teleprompter, which was helpful since they have sound turned off. The TVs can be seen in the dining room too. Latest visit I had one of their specials not normally on the menu, chicken parm with a nice amount of pasta. It was good and filling. Chicken was done just right. It's on the smaller side so if you're going for weekend date night or dinner with the family you may need a reservation or you may end up waiting around 30 minutes in the waiting area for a seat. The staff are great! Friendly and super knowledgeable of the kitchen menu. The owner is so friendly and accommodating! That's so great to experience these days when a restaurant owner cares for his patrons and business. The food is amazing! We tried the Rib Eye and Short Rib entree. The main dish is beef and sides include mashed potato and broccoli. We also ordered a side of fries which is actually hand cut fries, an entire bowl served with ketchup. We had a glass of wine and a soft drink. They serve Coke products here and have an extensive wine list. Be sure to check out photos of the menu before you go, it definitely on the pricier side. Entres range $40-$45 median pricing. They also offer a chefs specials with a range of plate selection and pricing as well. The wine was $15/glass. You can also order by the bottle. I'm sad to report that after two consecutive visits I've left disappointed with the Pizza. This place used to have the absolute best bar pizza I've ever had lately, the pizza hasn't been as thin and doesn't get the crispy. Lacey edges the way it normally should. With that being said Jason did a fantastic job taking care of us and the other food was good except that they changed the Mozambique shrimp recipe (still good ) They recently have made some menu changes and some of the offerings from before like the chicken and broccoli are no longer available. My wife and I went there last night to celebrate our anniversary. We started with the spinach artichoke dip. It was hot and very tasty. My wife had the blackened swordfish special which was excellent. I had the short ribs - also excellent. The service was great. They have an unusually large, well-curated wine list, although they were out of several bottles. The large number of good wines at various price points made up for that. Birthday Celebration for birthday girl who was wanting prime rib. Ordered appetizers- do not get calamari it was soggy and clumping! Meatballs mid. Ordered dinner and later 2 people out of 8 ordered prime rib - which is why birthday girl (woman 58) wanted and we drove 40 minutes to go there. 10 minutes after ordering was told they were out we ordered filets instead, which was 2 people! What a date night to remember trying this new restaurant on Saturday, May 18, 2025 at 6:30pm, despite the 18 violations cited on February 25, 2025 by the Florida Dept of health and regulations. (see screenshot). License #SEA3918871 My wife and I were left shocked, uncomfortable, and genuinely unsafe--an experience so disturbing I'm seriously considering filing a police report. I've never had someone in my face like this Owner hovered over me and talking to me with such aggression in my ear so the others could not hear him. The Owner, Frank Gouveia, should be ashamed of his behavior. This was, without question, the most insane and unprofessional restaurant encounter I've ever experienced--and it was made exponentially worse by the aggressive behavior of the Owner himself. 6:45pm: We ordered two steaks: a New York Strip and a Filet, along with mashed potatoes, asparagus, broccoli, and two glasses of wine. Both steaks arrived with the temperatures reversed. We politely requested the meals be remade entirely. To our surprise, the restaurant didn't offer any bread or butter with dinner, and they don't carry A-1 or Heinz 57--odd for a steakhouse. Around 7:30 PM, the Chef came out to our table and blamed the waitress for not informing him we wanted a new steak. He contradicted himself by saying he would've made a new one if he had known, then immediately followed with, "I don't see the sense in making a new one since it's an expensive steak and it was only a few degrees under well done." By 7:43 PM, my wife had received her newly cooked meal and had already finished eating--yet I was still sitting there without my food. No manager ever came to check in despite multiple requests. I began to suspect the Chef was acting as both the front and back of house. By 7:50 PM, I respectfully asked for the check and requested my Filet be removed since the meal had yet to arrive and our dinner had been completely staggered. At 8:00 PM, as my food finally arrived, the Owner--who was also acting as the hostess--approached our table in an extremely aggressive and intimidating manner. He invaded my personal space, pointed forcefully at the menu, and yelled, "We already cooked you two steaks--you're not leaving here without paying for the entire bill." His tone and body language were threatening. He repeatedly turned around, postured, and moved in a way that made both my wife and me believe he might lash out physically. He referenced fine print at the bottom of the menu stating they "can't guarantee steak temperatures" and that a 20% service charge is applied--none of which was disclosed to us by any of the staff; including the Head Chef who visited our table. This was not a case of poor service, the waitress was great--it was the Owners aggressive, confrontational behavior and lack of wanting to hear anything I had to say, nor was there any apologies at all! In a world where dining out should be a pleasant and safe experience, this encounter crossed every line. My wife and I left deeply disturbed, disappointed, and feeling genuinely unsafe. This is not how you treat guests. A professional listens, adapts, and makes things right--not reheats food and intimidates paying customers. The owner needs to seriously reflect on his conduct and understand that respectful dialogue and hospitality are at the core of any reputable dining establishment. The owner's behavior felt physically threatening, not just rude. - The Owner invaded my space in a way that made me concerned about a physical altercation and my safety. - The Owner used his position of power to intimidate me into compliance. - I experienced emotional distress and want an official record of the event. Even without physical contact, aggressive and confrontational behavior intended to intimidate or provoke fear can be reported as: - Harassment - Threatening behavior - Disorderly conduct NO-ONE should ever feel unsafe while dining out. The owner's actions went beyond poor customer service and into threatening or hostile conduct, anyone is completely within their rights to file a report. read more

Had another incredible and elegant meal at The Grill last night. This place is my go-to for espresso martinis (and they are amazing), but their food is also absolutely delicious. Unlike a lot of other "fancier" restaurants, the portion sizes here are great and the prices are reasonable. We got two meals and quite a few martinis for under $100. I ordered the chefs special Bourbon Glazed Rack of Ribs with potatoes and bacon coleslaw, and my boyfriend had the shrimp scampi. We ended up sharing both meals, and they were great! Both were very fresh and flavorful, but I'd have to say the ribs were my favorite. We booked a reservation with the grill for 12 for my husbands birthday and had an overall good experience. We were greeted with friendly staff and shown to our table. They even took the birthday cake we brought in and took it to the back. I asked in advance if they allow you to bring your own cake and they said it was totally fine. It's a smaller scale restaurant and they were fairly booked on a Saturday night. I really enjoyed my short rib dinner, but some of the party thought their plates could have used some improvements in terms of seasoning. My dad got the large steak dinner plate and said he has a very small scoop of mashed potatoes and the steak was under-seasoned. My mom said practically the same. My husband's lamb was a bit touch in some parts and the dish could have used a little more salt overall. The spinach dip was probably the best spinach dip I've had anywhere. It's not too heavy like some can be. The toasted butter bread on the side was amazing and they even brought us more without asking. Our server was on point the entire night. They brought out my husband's cake singing happy birthday and even added extra candles to it. They cut and served it to everyone even though I was expecting to do it myself lol. My husband took us there for our anniversary on September 7, 2025. Everything was delicious from the steak that we ordered, potatoes and asparagus or some other Green. My only issue was the main manager there who walked around as if he didn't see us. I tried to make eye contact. My husband chose not to. He never once came over to see how we were doing, how our food was, and our overall experience. He actually sat at the bar w a couple of other guests, and the restaurant was not at all crowded. Almost nobody was dining there on a Friday night while other similar places in the area were booked solid. Pros: Service was great. Food was hot. Salads were fresh. Prime Rib was good, and the meat was fresh (this dish is only served Friday-Sunday). Cons: Rib Eye steak was almost inedible. It didn't taste fresh and was a very cheap cut of meat. It was delicious and very large! My husband ordered the cheesesteak with flavorful au jus. The restaurant was quite crowded when we entered on a Saturday night, but we got seated right away. The dining room is one large room, so it is a wee bit loud, but the food makes up for it by leaps and bounds. I would highly recommend this lovely upscale restaurant. read more
