    The story behind Kurt

This is a gem of a diner, with a distinct theme (John Wayne.). We went on a Sunday morning and were seated in less than 5 minutes. The staff were attentive and friendly. All the dishes tasted fresh. My favorite were the home fries, seasoned to perfection, they weren't oily, they were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Being able to see the owner greeting clients, serving coffee, and reading his journey made this diner even more special. Will definitely return...

First time trying it, and it was ok! Food- I ordered a Cuban sandwich with some fries. The sandwich and fries were pretty bland. I had to add a little more seasoning to the fries. The Cuban sandwich felt like I was eating at the local hospital. Service- Our server was sweet, but rarely checked on us. The restaurant wasn't really busy at the time. They seem sweet to regulars, to the point of helping one out of the car. We were new to the restaurant. It's great they treat customers well, we probably just came in at the wrong time. Ambiance- 2 & 2 gives diner vibes. Nice little cafe seats and booths. Famous actor is plastered all over the walls and even a cardboard cutout of him! Must be a fan? Great for comfort food but if you want more flavor or savory then this is not the place!

This is a newer location which opened in the fall 2024. There are lots of seating options both at the table and booth. There is a small salad bar that is well stocked for sides. Along with my T-bone steak, I got green beans and a big sweet potato. I chose to get a salad and they had a fair number of fresh toppings.

Came in on a Sunday. I liked the painting and all the John Wayne memorabilia. I was hoping for something good and I was pretty disappointed. Food lacked flavor and the coffee wasn't good either. Floors were a bit dirty under the tables. The syrup bottle was very sticky. Our waitress was very nice and suggested some things on the menu to save us a buck or two. My kid did enjoy the pancakes and OJ. I'm a big fan of hash browns but I couldn't finish theirs.

Love Kurt (Kruth), the staff especially Dina, and the food can not go wrong I go there all the time for business meetings and just to have the best "French Toast" in town. Their Cuban toast breakfast sandwich is a must too. The place is big and so clean food is delicious. I will be having many business meetings there

The food is very good and very affordable. The service is friendly. Owner super nice and interacts with his patrons. Ambiance is simple and basic. Been a few times after church. Will keep going back.

This is NOT a 1/4 pound burger !

The theme is still John Wayne, but it's not as overwhelming as his other two places.

The menu offering was standard fare and I ended up ordering a meat lover skillet and added an extra egg and jalapeños. Instead of toast, I chose the three silver dollar pancakes with whipped cream and strawberries. I don't normally divert from toast not a big fan of sweets but today I had a craving. The pancakes with the Strawberries and whipped cream were very good as was my skillet. The others at the table also enjoyed their meals. Our server Amanda was very attentive overall I thought it was an excellent choice for a brunch breakfast. Pricing was very reasonable. I would recommend this location if in town.

For an hour on a recent Monday morning, all the rush and worries melted away. Inside this cheerful restaurant with the super helpful servers, time stopped, calm returned and breakfast was good! I wasn't expecting all of this. I came in looking for bacon. But once I parked in the huge parking lot, went in passed the train-decorated windows and saw the homey decor and deep red booths, I felt like I'd walked into happy, sunny childhood days. The nostalgic vibe was strong and comforting and I settled in. The menu was full of solid choices-including some pretty amazing looking mimosa options for weekend joy. I kept it simple with scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and a fruit cup. It was a lot of food, cooked well and good value for money. My server was spectacular-friendly and knowledgeable-it was clear she liked her job and her customers-and knew how to get things done. She called me "hon." Yes, more of this!

Got the farmer's omelet this time and it didn't disappoint. The omelet was cooked to perfection, the biscuit and gravy was creamy and less dry than the last one experience. Potatoes you could tell were freshly made and nicely seasoned. The best part was definitely the service though. The waitresses bust their tails giving everyone including those taking out the best service. Made sure to offer plenty of ketchup and hot sauce with my order. Though the place seems small it's in a good location and the Belgian waffle sundaes I saw were definitely something I want to try next time.
