We also ordered the flounder and seafood pancake separately, which were both good. Service was good but we never got our bean paste soup, which we requested as part of the all you can eat. This place was such a charming hidden delight. I am from California and looking to get a bbq fix in or near Tacoma. I found this place and decided to give it a go with a few friends. Walked in and was seated swiftly! My waitress was friendly and so attentive! I tend to be a bit picky and enjoy a very customized BBQ experience, and they accommodated me with my requests. I ordered kimchi fried rice, bibim nangmyeon, and the all you can eat BBQ menu and loved everything! Also! The panchan is AMAZING! You can tell there's a lot of love and care that goes into their food, even the free side dishes. I felt so spoiled and filled to the brim! I even spoke to the owner and let him know how impressed I was with the quality of meats. I'm hoping someday they add large beef intestines to the menu for the extra cherry on top. Amazing KBBQ! We came once when they had just opened and the food was great, the customer service was also spectacular so we came back today after a long day at work. They surprised us with Gyoza and even remembered us from when we were first there! They really go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. Came here for Korean bbq, food portions were little for a so called buffet, my issue was with the waitress. she was very rude she tried to stop our food from coming after 60 minutes of being there the sign says you have 90 minutes she tried to short us 30 minutes lied and said our time was up just to get us out as soon as possible, we tried to wave her down multiple times to get refills on the meats as they are portion controlling all the food she saw us and kept walking I don't know why they call it a buffet there's not a food bar everything was on a menu and you have to order it accordingly I wouldn't go there again instead I'll make a further drive to federal way to get better food and service save your time and money stay away from this place horrible customer service and food way given in stingy little portions. The restaurant itself isn't super fancy, but who cares when the staff is so responsive and friendly and welcoming, and the food is sooooo good?! My boyfriend and I came to Seattle to visit his family members. We took the family members including 4 of our nieces/nephews with us. They accommodated all 10 of us with kind smiles. The owner lady even gave an organic apple juice for our little niece! The prices for AYCE KBBQ were $37 for adults and $20 for kids with ages of 4-7 (for dinner and weekends. Lunch was cheaper but don't remember). The time limit was 90minutes which were more than enough for us to eat and enjoy. Came here knowing they only had a few reviews and was not disappointed! 5 stars all around. Seated promptly, they provided two high chairs for my 2 year old twins. Great customer service, the lady was so attentive to my boys, cutting portions of the meat small enough for them and all around being so kind to my family. When we got the check we noticed they charged us for the child rate for the buffet (which is ages 4+), I notified them of the error and they quickly corrected it without any hassle. Couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience and the food was delicious. This will be our new Korean bbq spot for sure. read more

First time with my mother. Seeing all the food different it was worth it for dinner price and plus treated to marinated crab. I am so full I can take a nap. Either way, I really enjoyed myself. Horrible service should've read the reviews prior to coming here. We had problems making reservations, someone had to physically go there to make it. He said it's cause their phone wasn't working, when we asked the female she said it was fine. Then when we get there they say their cc'd machine is down, cash only no signs no nothing, no alternate methods. Then we asked prior to sitting if we could split the bill in two we had eight people, the guy told us we could, come time to check out we were told no and a 22% gratituity was added. Secondly we hardly got service we had to call them for literally everything; Napkins, water, utensils, etc. Our waiter was terrible he's the bulkier one with glasses. Thirdly it's all you can eat but yet he put a limit of only 3 meats to choose; not 3 at a time ONLY 3 MEATS. He also restricted us to one serving of the short ribs to which no where on his menu does it say that about either of these. Yet the table next to us got what ever simply because its his "brother" they could speak Korean. Next we had very little cooked meat left (few pieces)and If we wasted our meat it would be $5 per person so we asked if we could take it home, he said ok but will charge $5. The lady at the desk was nice not to charge us but we weren't able to take the meat home. The icing on the cake he threatened us saying he was gonna call the police because we had a dispute with the bill that he later refused to split. We paid the bill and he flat out told us "if you no like no come back" in which we told him we won't. Which then he took pictures and began calling the police trying to make like we weren't gonna pay. Our bill was $400......NEVER GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT BAD SERVICE AND RESTRICTIONS ON EVERYTHING. read more

The selection for AYCE is limited, but this is typical, but high quality. This is not a buffet, they bring you portions at your request. The buffet thing can be a bit icky so this was a very pleasant surprise. Service was really good and very very friendly. They were not skimpy with portions and attentive. Very good service, had a variety of meats that were all high quality. The brisket, porkbelly, and the galbi were very good. Servers would come in to check in on us and make sure everything was good. First off I am half Korean and have been to many Korean BBQ places in Washington state. I went here with my mother and my fiancé who is Filipino. This place was a real disappointment. To begin with there seem to be be only an old lady and maybe her son running the restaurant. Secondly when it was not busy it took forever for them to bring out our rice and side dishes. When we wanted more meet we literally had to go find them. When it got busier we were almost forgot about. I DO NOT recommend this place. There are plenty other places that are better.
