Super clean, easy to locate and find parking. You order through a tablet attached to a table, so old timers who are used to yelling out their order will have to be patient. We upgraded from classic to premium so we could have LA kalbi. And it was thick prime cuts. Our server checked on us often and asked us if the food was tasty. Love that they were attentive to the grills and changed them often. My favorite was that I ordered Korean soft tofu soup versus the soybean paste for free. Wish more kbbq places had that option. Also, the squid came out fried and it was seasoned and delicious as well! The mall walk afterwards helps with digestion, so we will be back!

This is the meat you eat... gross enjoy!

One of the worst places to eat in Tacoma. The service is below par and the food is not safe to eat! Call poison control before dinning you will need it.

There are so many options to choose from, in so many different variations of food. You can order, it's all wonderful, and you get to cook it and you know what you like! I have to say the marinated meats are better than the others! And I thoroughly enjoyed the cheese corn and the fried rice! Our server was funny and kept the ball rolling. So we didn't ever have to wait too long...Always checking in on us!

So they lie to people also!!!

They make you place your order from an IPad at the table and someone brings little portions of food for YOU to cook. I was at a table of four people and my nephew was at his own table of four people next to us. We had two different bills yet they charged both tables a $50. Gratuity and said it was because we had a large group, WE HAD 4 people. I'm still so pissed off!!!!

Five stars - great This was my first time going to a Korean BBQ. We went in blind, so we had no clue what to do, what to order, etc. Our waitress was very friendly. She didn't do the best job of explaining how the menu worked (there was a little language barrier), but we ultimately figured it out. I'll do my best to explain how things work. Essentially, you can order a variety of meats and appetizers, which are separated into three categories. If you purchase the higher tier, you not only have access to the meats/appetizers of that tier, but also any tier below it. You get unlimited food for two hours. During that time, you can cook and eat a variety of meats that are available in your selected tier. You could order three dishes and three sides at a time. Despite not knowing how things worked, we had a great experience. We got the first tier ($35 per person), and we were satisfied with our options, but we will definitely get a higher tier next time we go. We got three rounds of food, and we were stuffed. It was really fun cooking the meats while we enjoyed our appetizers and drinks. This is the perfect restaurant for catching up with friends and family because you will be there a while. I would recommend going with an empty stomach. We will certainly be going back!

Woobling is on the south side of the mall next to BJ's. They have three price options with different menu options for all you can eat, ranging from $35-$50. I asked if they had à la carte options but was told it's not all you can eat style. The ordering is done from a tablet at the table and a food runner brings it out. I was impressed that the design of the grills allowed them to not need the hang down smoke vent, it made it a quieter experience and we didn't smell like smoke after. There are definitely better Korean BBQ options in Tacoma but this spot gets 4 stars for the convenience and for their family friendly atmosphere.

New BBQ spot in Tacoma Mall Area! The wait was roughly 10 minutes on a weekday evening for 2. The service was okay as well! The server occasionally check on us but we mainly used the call server button! We opted for the Signature choice selection and it was decently worth.. The meat/food portions per order are a good size for having a bite and trying a variety of different dishes! When the store is busy, it does take quite a long time for the meat/food orders to come out to our table.. but it's understandable. I would come again before their Grand Opening specials are over! Decent pricing!

I should start out with the good. The lady who served us was very friendly. The restaurant was very new and clean, much like your typical modern Korean restaurant. And the price point for their happy hour can't be beat. $19.99 is pretty amazing. The food however was not the best. The banchan wasn't very good and the brisket was not quality. You have a 2 hour time limit and we felt like we were waiting a long time for our orders. At Korean BBQs we are often waiting for the food to cook, but here we were spending more of the time waiting for the uncooked food to even arrive. It felt like an Americanized KBBQ which is on par for Tacoma Mall I suppose. If the server wasn't so friendly and the price wasn't so good, I would rate it lower.

This place is so so good. I went for dinner and got the middle package which had tons of options. It was also set at a very good price given how much time you get. Most of the time you cook and flip the meat yourself but sometimes they come over and do it for you which was great service.

Gathered a group of friends here. Haven't been to the Tacoma mall in years. The majority of the meat selections were great, but some of the other side dishes were quite questionable. We had 5 at our table, and they all said the kimchi jjigae tasted like tomato soup. We also ordered one of the marinated meats, I forget which one, but we told our server we didn't like the taste of it because if you leave food behind, you have to pay. He brought the owner, or chef out, who asked a few questions but said it was fine to remove it from our table without billing it. They offer a variety of side dishes that our normal kbbq place didn't, so we wanted to try it out. I've been to the one in Bellevue with family so I already knew what to expect but it's nice to have another in the Tacoma area, I just absolutely hate mall parking. Come early so you get a table.

To start, the food was definitely delicious, the sauces surprisingly were very good too usually i don't even touch them but i ended ip finishing mine. we split the cost between 4 people and the total was very cheap for us. Our server was amazing, funny and attentive . Explained the whole ordering processes, made sure we had any and everything we needed and constantly checked up on us! It was a Friday evening so it was quite busy, we did wait in line for about 20ish mins but again it is a new restaurant so there's going to be a crowd.

I couldn't remember the name of the place, but we found it: The Fish Peddler! We must have arrived at a perfect interval because there was a table for two that had just been bussed and ready for us near the large counter in the back where food was collected by servers and presented to hungry patrons at any of the 30-40 tables. Our server was genuinely warm and delightful and guided us to the menu and the on-line beer on tap information. Drinks were ordered and delivered in minutes - just enough time for us to announce our selections: A 3-piece halibut and chips for her, and for me, the albacore tuna with spring greens and gouda cheese on sourdough with a pint of I'm Not Afraid Of Music. It had the lowest alcohol content, and since I was driving, didn't want to push my luck. When our huge white dinner plates arrived - oh - did I mention the amazing jalapeño coleslaw? - we were amazed at the size of the perfectly deep fried halibut - which, on their own, provide a good bite, making only a smitten of tartar sauce necessary because you gotta have tartar sauce with fried fish, after all, right? I picked up one my sandwich haves and removed the toothpick with too much gusto and suffered a small splinter that I couldn't remove until I got home a couple of hours later with the help of a magnifying glass, a tweezer and some masking tape. But I ignored the splinter while I enjoyed my "this is NOT your mom's - or HER mom's - Tuna melt". The perfect balance of the albacore spread with the gouda showing up gloriously in almost every bite, the pillowy and cool greens and tomato slice that balanced the heat from the albacore between the two lightly toasted sourdough was my Valentine's Day gift to my mouth. We were stuffed, but not defeated - we ordered our cheesecake to go, and I get to have the last piece of halibut for a snack later on! It was great getting re-acquainted with This cozy, fun, busy restaurant since our last (and first) visit 3 years ago. My only regret is that for some unknown but surely inexcusable reason, I had waited three years before returning. Won't happen again.

This is a casual place, but the food is quality. We got the fish and chips, which were perfectly crispy. The black cod miso was superb. Very fresh and light and flaky and flavorful. This isn't fancy, but it's just a good seafood place for friends, business or families.

We were out celebrating my buddy's birthday today, and started out next door for some smokes and drinks. I had a plan for some choices for his bday dinner, and he opted with Ms. Jane's inside BJ's Casino. First off... this place is very elegant with a fine dining experience. Secondly, Cassandra was absolutely superb!! We all thoroughly had an amazing experience, from the drinks, appetizers, to our entrees, and the service. The Lavender Martini was top notch, and we also ordered the White Mojito. That mojito was crisp and refreshing! Two spectacular cocktails. As for our meals, undeniably unbelievable!! I ordered the 12oz. Ribeye, with Garlic Potatoes and crisp Broccolini. So crisp and a unique almost vinaigrette flavoring, with a subtle spice. As a side, we ordered the Thousand Layer Potato. My first time ever having this, but seen how it was made on a video. Simply divine. My wife ordered the Braised Bison over Polenta, with some Carrots. This is the tastiest Bison we've ever had!! We were the only people in the dining room for lunch the entire time until our last 10 mins. This restaurant is inside a casino in Fife. Parking is interesting, and the casino itself is in the middle of a reno so it looks a bit messy but otherwise it is fine. Kudos to them for trying to make the outside section nice because the view kind of kills it. Pros - it's a very nicely designed space. The hostess and our waitress were so nice and welcoming, even giving me a stool for my bag (and it wasn't even my fanciest bag lol!) Overall, the restaurant is nice, the food seems to be mostly fresh and good quality and service was nice. I actually quite enjoyed my ribeye, despite our broccolinni having no almonds, as stated on the menu. My affogato was good, and the cake frosting and flavors were good. Cons - I say these with love...but we both feel the kitchen was not up to par, or the main chef was off, or something happened because there were quite a few mishaps during our visit. The appetizers were good, but the scallops needed salt and I would not pair them with pineapple, personally. The calamari weren't the most tender, and the breading was interesting - it's definitely not your typical breading, it suited a fish and chips dish better. The sweet and spicy sauce served with it is from trader Joe's...I know because I've bought it before, so I don't believe it's house made. Like I previously stated, the broccolinni was missing the almonds, and the carrots on the side that I ordered for $13 were so embarrassing that the waitress came back after serving us and told us that she spoke to the manager and got those off our bill. That's how ridiculous they were, so thank you to her for having good values at work. While I liked my steak, it was very, very fatty, and my husband asked for medium rare and definitely got medium well. Lastly, the pink champagne cake was disappointing, not because it was yucky, but because the cake itself was clearly days old, and had been freshly frosted. It was tough, dry and stale, while the frosting was fresh and light. Overall, I can see coming back but I'm in no rush due to the price/location/overall food.

My first time at West 122 as I had been wanting to try this for months. Here's the positives... Love the brick and mortar ambiance inside. It just had an overall good community vibe. Presentation of food was beautiful. What else we experienced... My friend ordered a Sprite and I ordered a cocktail. She was served a lemonade and my drink was pretty sour so I ordered some simple syrup. The Sprite came but it took 20 minutes to get my simple syrup. By that time I was sort of over having a cocktail. Honestly, the venue was not full and all I wanted was some simple syrup in a shot glass. We ordered the burrata, caesar salad and the special with the octopus tentacles, asparagus, peppers and capers over polenta. The caesar salad on the menu lists "red gem lettuce tossed in house-made caesar dressing, topped with bread crumbs and shaved parmigiano reggiano. While I liked the idea of not having croutons as they're sometimes difficult to maneuver with a biteful of salad, there must have been a quarter cup of bread crumbs over the top, so much so that you couldn't even see what was underneath. Next, the menu describes the burrata as "creamy burrata with pea vines, roasted peas, pickled asparagus, and artichoke." When it arrived, we were truly wondering if we had ordered the right thing. Only until we moved the sea of greens did we see the burrata. Nowhere on the menu did it mention that we were actually ordering a salad with burrata underneath. Very unfortunate and misleading because my friend ordered the Caesar for dinner and didn't know she was actually getting a second salad. In addition, we ordered the baguette with butter/oil and what came to us for $11 or some rather non descript rolls. The octopus special was the star of the show. The colors, flavors, char on the octopus...everything except that it was surrounded by a fair amount of paprika oil, so much so that I had to work around it in order to not give my stomach a run for my money later in the evening. A dish I wanted to finish but just couldn't because of that issue. In addition to that, refills of water were non-existent and it took close to 50 minutes to get our dinner. Also, our waitperson was very pleasant but seemed rather overwhelmed. Even after waiting 15 minutes for the simple syrup, when she finally did bring it, she looked surprised that I no longer wanted it. Yes, she took it off the bill, but I would have much rather enjoyed one of the specialties of the house. So many mishaps that didn't need to occur. Truly disappointed that our evening went that way.

Pros: - Our server was very sweet and came off as genuine! - The cocktails were really good! - The ambiance was nice! Cons: - Service was very clumsy, overall. - We came in on an averagely busy night (nice weather, but on a Tuesday - lots of open tables). Right off the bat, the greeters were not focused. We asked for a table for a party of two, and we found ourselves waiting there with no communication from them that they were working on seating us - basically they went back to chatting with each other. I had to go back and ask a few minutes later if they were planning on seating us before we got an "oh yeah, sorry one sec". Meanwhile they were joking around with each other. I truly am all for having a good time at work, but it wasn't clear that they were focused on us. I'm willing to believe they were working on it, but at the end of the day we were left guessing. - Our food took a pretty long time to get out, again compared to the fact that it was relatively slow. - Not gonna lie, the food was mid. I think I have realistic standards, but this is a relatively high-budget menu so I was expecting a little more. I'll end by saying, I'm not a serial negative reviewer. I wouldn't have left this review if the bill wasn't as pricey as it was. I believe that people are good, but the processes behind this place were rough.

I really hate to write a negative review about one of my favorite restaurants, but this experience…read morewas so disappointing. This restaurant has been one of my favorite places for the past two years. I've celebrated birthdays and anniversaries here, and I've recommended it to countless friends and family because the food and service have always been excellent. Unfortunately, my visit today was very different. My friend and I came in for lunch, and our server, Amanda, was noticeably inattentive despite the restaurant being nearly empty. She took our drink menu before we had finished looking at it, and my friend had to get up and find her to ask for it back. Throughout the meal, it was difficult to get her attention. When our food arrived, I asked for the lemon I ordered because they forgot it which is not a big deal to me they usually forget my lemon when I visit. She quickly dropped it off and walked away before I could order drinks. We then had to ask a second time just to place our drink order. The bigger issue was the food. Both seafood boils were lacking flavor, and mine seemed unusually watery, as though excess water hadn't been drained before the seasoning and butter were added. Since two seafood boils cost well over $100, I politely asked if there was any way to add more seasoning. I was respectful and apologetic because I genuinely dislike complaining about food. Amanda interrupted me before I could finish explaining and told me they couldn't add seasoning, only provide a side of seasoned butter. That would have been fine, I simply wanted a solution, but being cut off and met with an eye roll felt extremely rude and unprofessional. She then suggested the watery consistency was caused by the extra corn I ordered. I order extra corn every time I visit and have never experienced this issue before. After that interaction, she largely avoided our table. When she eventually boxed our leftovers, she immediately dropped off the check and walked away again. Upon reviewing the bill, I noticed I had been charged for the side of seasoned butter that was provided as the solution to the flavor issue. When I asked about it, Amanda explained that I was charged because I had ordered an extra side of seasoned butter. However, I hadn't ordered it as an addition to my meal, it was offered as the fix for food that she herself acknowledged was watered down. When I expressed that I felt it was inappropriate to charge a customer for the remedy to a quality issue, she responded that she could ask a manager to remove the charge if I wanted. By that point, I was very frustrated that this was even a charge in the first place and offered to just pay and leave. She quickly walked away and just removed the charge without consulting the manager like she previously mentioned which I found to be odd. This is the first negative experience I've had here, which makes it especially disappointing. I've always loved this restaurant and have recommended it to many people over the years. Sadly, after today's food and service experience, I'll likely be looking elsewhere for future celebrations and gatherings with friends and family. I've included some photos of the many visits my friends and family have had here over the years for lunch, birthdays, anniversary celebrations, etc. Please work on your customer service.
