Fam and I stopped here driving back to CT from Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos. Janie was THE best server ever. SO sweet and personable. And she's a heck of a salesperson! So glad she convinced me to get the seafood pasta. It was ridiculously good!! Hubby would've liked the Tso's a bit spicier but he said it was delicious. Kids were VERY happy with their burger, pretzel sticks & loaded (or, unloaded actually, since they got everything but the cheese on the side!) Fun ambiance with some nostalgic decor. We hit the coin game located at the entrance on our way out and I think we were there for an extra 20 minutes! Hope we find ourselves in the area again so we can go back!

This place was a great find. Service was impeccable, all her recommendations were on point. The specials added to the amazing menu options. The restaurant was clean and very spooky decorated. This is a fun place for the whole family.

If you care about the steps that establishments are required to take to keep their patrons and staff safe, DO NOT EAT HERE. The staff does not wear their masks properly if at all. The manager doesn't attempt to wear a mask. It doesn't phase him if a patron is upset about this. There is a sign on the door that clearly states masks MUST be worn when you are not at your table. Complete disappointment. Hopefully the right people see this post and do something about it. Needless to say, we walked out. One star is too much but Yelp made me do it.

Great wings and service! Also have a wide variety of drinks available. Highly recommended for the area.

One of us had been here before with the Pop-Pop, but this time we went as a family for dinner. The main area inside is cute and homey, and the bar is especially nice, but we were seated in the adjacent section which felt like an IHOP. Our server was very nice and patient, and we did appreciate that there were decent beers on draft as well as some cocktails. We started with the appetizer sampler, and it was...fried food galore. The chicken wings were beyond rubbery, but the onion rings were OK, as were the mozzarella sticks. The whole thing was a plate of grease. For mains, one of us got the teriyaki chicken wrap, and she was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty delish! Nice flavor, good balance of ingredients and texture, and somewhat fresh tasting. The chicken parm sandwich, though, was a hot mess, and not in a good way. The bread became pure mush, the chicken tasted off, and the sauce was unappetizing. A real bummer of a meal. Our daughter had a shrimp basket that we didn't even want to ask about. We all split a lava cake for dessert that lacked any soul. Overall, the Erie Hotel is on par with literally everything else in a 30-mile radius that we have experienced in this corner of America: average food that's not particularly first-rate. Three accurate stars.

John, our server and bartender for the night was lovely and quite the multitasker. We felt welcomed and right at home! He gave us great recommendations and we enjoyed everything ordered. They have specials every night and we took advantage of the .25/wings to start. I tried the chicken gyro which was tasty but needed more tzatziki sauce. My date ordered the vodka pasta with fried chicken and it was delicious!!!! The fried chicken was perfectly cooked and the vodka sauce was mouthwatering. I may have helped him out with a few bites (or five). For dessert we shared a chocolate mousse cake and it was fresh and melt in your mouth. The menu is quite extensive and not badly priced, I can't wait to come back! If you're looking for a low key, affordable place to grab dinner and drinks, add this spot to your list!
