    Bacon and eggs sandwich.

Extremely slow service with a worker who didn't seem to have any knowledge of the food or how to cook it. Our food kept getting mixed up with another customers order , she was making multiple orders at the same time, which got her confused and flustered. The quality of the food was worse than a school cafeteria. The "sourdough" bread was cheap white sliced generic bread, the bacon was burned, the cheese, which was an "add on" was sliced kraft cheese that wasn't even melted.

Solid little cafe. They out source some items, like their Indian snacks. Others are made on site. The boba and teas. Breakfast review. Decent sandwhich. Nothing outstanding nut nothing wrong. Store bread. Eggs fresh. Offered with may and cheese. There is Hershey ice cream. A full lunch deli selection. More vegan and gluten free baked items are on a grab and go cooler. This cozy spot has room to sit and is trying hard to fill a niche. Third space, breakfast spot, lunch, snack, dessert. If it figures out how to make more in house items, or picks a more definite identity, I have no doubt they will be around for a while. Went back repeatedly for tea. Enjoy local.

The service was excellent and the coffee was great. The breakfast sandwich was a bit dry but tasty. Location is convenient but easy to miss because it is attached to a convenience store. It is just off I-95 so a great spot for travelers in need of good coffee. They have a large, professional, espresso "machine." These folks are serious about their coffee products!

Locally owned coffee shop right off 95 in Benson. It is attached to a gas station. My family and I spent the night in Dunn, NC on our way from Tampa to Pennsylvania. I wanted to grab a coffee from a local shop before getting back on 95 and heading north. While there were a few options, only one seemed to be open on Sunday morning. That was The Grind. We rolled in at 9:12. Online it said they opened at 9. I pulled the door. Locked. There were no hours on the door. Great, hoodwinked. Corporate coffee here I come. As I waited for a break in the pouring rain, a car pulled up and honked at me. Out steps the owner and his employee. They opened the shop. I stepped in and grabbed a cold brew (they serve Larry's Coffee) with oat milk. It was a good cold brew, that the employee asked if he could adjust in any way. I told him he did it well the first time and we continued our journey. Loved the cold brew and locally owned vibes.

One thin slice of turkey and American cheese.

His simple ass kept asking me what was wrong with it and I had to break it down like I was talking to a toddler. He was also either sick at work or had put some snow up is nose, because he was sniffling and snorting every two seconds. They aren't concerned about selling spoiled meats, apparently. Jacob and May are absolutely worthless and one way or another, Bagelman is going to make you sick. Quick reminder of their Health Department violations: VIOLATIONS Proper cooling methods used; adequate equipment for temperature control Food separated & protected Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean Proper cold holding temperatures Handwashing sinks supplied & accessible Edit after Bagelman's response: I think the fact that they think this was just a complaint about their bacon shows that they genuinely don't comprehend food safety. And I absolutely told you what you could go do - this was after being told that you didn't understand what the problem was and I said that you need to check food quality because you're going to make people sick. Notice how I never asked for a refund? I was calling to keep you from making your customers sick, and taking ANY accountability was well beyond your capabilities. A decent business would be concerned with selling rancid products - and Jason didn't know the word "rancid", btw. You can literally see the photo. That isn't what bacon is supposed to look like, my guy. Worse, there's no way it didn't look or smell off before it was prepared and put on a sandwich. But by all means, respond with something else showing exactly how obtuse you are. And other customers: All of the violations listed are public record. They're literally available on this app.

My husband and I split The Woods sandwich with Maui onion chips, and it was exactly what you want from a great lunch spot: perfectly toasted, flavorful, and not overloaded--just the right balance of meat and cheese. Our server (brown ponytail, floral sleeve tattoo) was fantastic--super friendly and thoughtful enough to split our sandwich onto two separate trays without us asking. Those little touches make a big difference. We grabbed pastries to go and had them later with coffee at home... just as delicious as lunch. The place was hopping (always a good sign), service was smooth, and even the bathrooms were spotless. Safe to say this won't be a once-a-decade visit anymore!

I've been to NYC numerous times over the years, and always make sure I hit up an authentic NY bagel joint. Not kidding, New Garden Bagel could easily be one of those spots. They make the perfect NY style bagel, crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, absolutely delicious all over. We had a jalapeño cheddar, everything and sesame bagel. All 3 were the perfect NY style I've grown to love. We asked for the sesame with the jalapeño spread which was super tasty. We also got a tub of the bacon scallion spread, thinking we'd take some home. It was so good we gobbled it up with the 2 other bagels right there in one sitting. Small and cozy inside with super friendly staff. They have sandwiches, breakfast, lunch, coffees galore, both sweet and savory spreads, and most importantly...Dr. Brown's sodas. Can't find that at many places around here. If we want a true NY style bagel, this is our go to spot from here on out. Go and try them out if you haven't already, you won't be disappointed!
