Bagels were delicious, service was fast, definitely a 'grab and go' place as there is no indoor seating and only seating outside is a few benches while waiting for your order. Parking is chaotic and it is busy so be mindful of that when coming! Very small shop and there will most likely be a line out the door depending when you go

The Snoogie (5/5): Great combination of lox, capers, cream cheese, and onion (I ordered no tomato). The ratio was good and I could taste each of the ingredients. I thought the bagel would be better, but it was still solid. Shoreline (4/5): I was drawn in by the tots but that part of it was a little disappointing (not crispy enough). Still a good sandwich though. Could've been much spicier. RATING SYSTEM 5 - Great (Need to get this again) 4 - Good (Would get this again) 3 - Ok (Might give this another shot) 2 - Not Good (Won't get this again) 1 - Bad (Telling people to avoid this)

Cut little spot on the way to the beach! Plenty of bagle and cream cheese flavors for even the pickiesiest eaters. I chose an asiago with DILL PICKLE cream cheese, yes, you read that correct. What a refreshing and delightful pair! Fast and friendly service. Can't wait to stop on every beach day!

This is a MUST when we visit the area. Their bagels are incredible and so many flavors that you don't normally see! I like that it's a small, order at the counter shop and they get you in and out quick.

Stopped here for a quick snack on a bike ride on a Monday. They had lots of bagels and bagel sandwich options! The bagel flavors are unique but a lot of them were not available. There was a little line when we got there. A small little shop with no seating inside and just a couple benches outside. I ordered an asiago bagel with cream cheese and lox. It was a pretty good price ~$7. It was so filling. Bagel tasted fluffy! My friend got a bagel before me and said it wasn't toasted so I made sure to ask that mine was toasted. Overall a good bagel!

Our bagels tasted amazing! The parking lot is small and it's typically busy but they get your order out fast! Both times we've been the staff were very friendly.

This sandwich was delish, and exactly what I was looking for early this morning. The cooks in the back were working hard and everything was fresh! The staff allowed me to get a side of bacon for my pup, which did not disappoint the princess. Would definitely go back if I'm in town again.

It was my first time here, it is still early in the season so I was greeted right away and order taken. I ordered the Day Tripper sandwich and asked to be in a wrap, that is an additional charge. The day tripper consists of bacon, cheese and chicken. You can have the sandwich with a side or just plain. It was ok. It lacked a kick to it! Maybe some kinda of dressing or something to make it stand out. Because honestly you can get a wrap like this anywhere for less $$. I will come back and try their bagels with their flavored cream cheese! This is a take out place, so don't expect to stay and eat.

We went here and first thing I saw was the sanitation rating 10000000!!!! Good jobbb guyssss!!!!! Any ways we got half a dozen (4 everything and 2 raisin bagels) and 3 bacon egg and cheese sandwiches, pretty good but nothing will compare to the north east bagels. On the back wall is where they served all there bagels and it very organized and pretty. The guy serving us seemed a little impatient and got annoyed at us but either way 8/10.

We come here for vacation every year. Bagels are always delicious and staff is amazing, always smiling and helpful. Must try bagel shop! Very cute inside and menu is very straightforward 10/10

The whole restaurant is super cute, albeit it does get really hot inside with only fans when there are lots of people inside. The tables are clean and the staff is friendly. The avocado toast has awesome goat cheese and the bacon you can add on is wonderful. The bad: Honestly extremely disappointed today. This is my third time here and I've been recommending them to all of my friends and family. We came in at 2 pm when they close at 4, drove 30 minutes for lunch, for the "kitchen to be closed". No where on their website or anywhere else do they advertise that they may close the kitchen early and I asked when it typically closes and they said they can just decide to close it when they feel like it, so they're only serving coffee and smoothies. We opted for smoothie bowls and they were completely liquid, we had to drink them and not eat them with spoons. There was also chunks of frozen fruit that didn't get blended and there was no spirulina and zero coconut flavor. Not sure who was working today but it was honestly such a bad experience that I don't think I'll be back or be recommending them to people anymore. $13 for basically a banana and handful of blueberries with melted juice and frozen pineapple chunks is highway robbery. Added two stars for the two prior experiences, I guess.

Conveniently located in the center of Topsail Island, it was a 15-minute drive from our 2022 Airbnb stay. With next two stays at Saltwater Suites in 2025, the drive was less than 5 minutes. In the three stays, we had breakfast here six times. It had everything we wanted. My son and I are sticklers for routine. In the first four visits, we ordered the same thing: 2 scrambled eggs with toast & home fries for me, and pancakes for him. Orders were placed at the counter. Then we went upstairs to the dining area and waited for the orders to be served. There were no issues with the order, food or service during these visits. In both 2022 visits, I had coffee; in both 2025 visits, I had Mountain Dew. Refills are free for both coffee and soda. My order tasted better than a similar one I had at Tick Tock Diner in New York City. It was great value for money. I always felt that I ate enough to last me through lunch. There was no reason to try anything different. Unlike Tick Tock Diner, NY Corner Deli did not have any TVs in the dining area. I appreciated this as we go to the beach to get away from the world. Furthermore, there weren't many people in the dining area whenever we were here (before 9am). Can't speak for the dining experience at any other time of the day. Things were slightly different when we visited in 2026. Pancakes were not available, so son had french toasts in both visits. In the first visit, I ordered my usual; in the second visit, I tried something different and ordered western omelet (with toast & home fries). Don't let the photo fool you. The western omelet was bigger than it looked. "Hearty" is an understatement. It was so filling that I skipped lunch and had a light dinner. Mountain Dew was no longer available as the establishment defected to Coca-Cola, so I had Coke Classic both times. If you like a decent breakfast and a quiet atmosphere, New York Corner Deli is the place to be. It will continue to be our breakfast place whenever we are in the Topsail / Surf City area.

The walls are covered in black-and-white prints of the Brooklyn Bridge, sepia-toned yellow cabs, and metal street signs screaming Broadway and 5th Ave. The seating is divided into two thrillingly average, non-beachy options: Upstairs or Downstairs. Both levels feature the exact same standard-issue, wobbly metal diner chairs, with vinyl tables upstairs. The menu is an everything menu, nothing specific, no specialties, consider this a one stop shop for anytime of the day. The Food Many of you know how much I travel, and I don't say this lightly, these are the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had. Period!!! I ordered the Crab Benedict, while my wife enjoyed the California Benedict. Every bite was simply outstanding. 2. The People The entire staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. Yes, you may wait 25 to 50 minutes for a table, but I can honestly say it's worth every single minute. Great things are worth waiting for. 3. Kate And then there's Kate, the owner. She is truly one of a kind. Her kindness, humility, and positive spirit radiate the moment you meet her. More than anything, her faith is contagious! We spent just a few minutes talking, yet her words left a lasting impact on both of us. As we were leaving, she handed us a small pin that read, "God's Got This." Wow... it was exactly the message we needed at that moment. Please take a moment to read her story in the attached photo. It's inspiring and a beautiful reminder that faith, hope, and love still exist all around us. From now on, every day can be "CB" day for me, because I'll gladly return to Kate's for what I believe is the best breakfast, served with the biggest hearts. Thank you, Kate, for reminding us that sometimes the greatest thing on the menu isn't just the food, it's the love, faith, and kindness that come with it. And the apple pancake was my least favorite; the apple filling on top tasted like it came from a can. Super sweet and didn't taste fresh. But the pancake itself was still good. This place does not take reservations and I was told the line goes out the door in the summer. There was a large line even while we were there in the off season during a storm.
