Food is consistently good and the workers are kind! I looooove their breakfast sandwiches and iced coffee!

Blended brown sugar brittle espresso drink - yum!

The best blended coffee drinks in town. Breakfast food was quite good, especially for the price. Very comfortable atmosphere and fast friendly service.

    Cozy nook

Best coffee drinks anywhere! Hands down! Not too sugary, perfectly pulled shots, fast & courteous service! Thx!

I like the grinder energy drink option, menu prices are a little high for me tho. Service is always great every time I come in. Out of all the coffee shop options in estacada I'd rank them 1st place

Outstanding coffee house. I least expected to find such an amazing place in this town. Really delicious coffee - highly recommend to try German Chocolate coffee. I also tried their Turkey Pita Sandwich, which was amazing too. The ambience of this place is super cool - loved the setting.

Coffee is good but the food is gross. My coworkers got food poisoning here once and I was in a hurry for coffee/food and thought it would be safe to get coffee and a plain sandwich. Took one look at the sandwich and said no thanks. Waste of time/money to come here for lunch. Just go to subway.

I like these hooks in the bathroom.

I am going to give them five stars even though I did not try their drinks. Melanie T liked their drinks, and I trust her opinion... Everyone was friendly and helpful. The place was inviting and clean; especially, the bathroom. There are plenty of comfortable table for your working and studying pleasure. This will be my first stop next time I am on town.

It's creamy, slightly spicy and so comforting! (I've been here a few times and this has been my go to for something warm on a cold, rainy day). My only issue is that the portions feel so small compared to typical American fare. - Hungarian Mushroom (5/5) Tasty, rich and packed thick with mushrooms. It's a higher quality mushroom soup! - Big T Sandwich (4/5) Very filling turkey sandwich, freshly made. It was good, but it's also just a turkey sandwich. Service (4/5) - This is basically felt like service from a food cart. Nothing over the top, but nothing under either. I do wish that the meal came with more napkins than the tiny thin folded one included with the prepackaged utensils. Ambiance - This is located in the Rockwood Market Hall which has spots that are freezing and spots that are under big heaters (making them super hot). It's basically a food court that doesn't have insulation, so bring a jacket, or not, depending on where you sit. NOTE: I'm not including the ambiance in my overall rating.

We ordered two of our old favorites: African peanut soup and Hungarian mushroom soup. The African peanut soup was not like the one I remembered from the Rockwood location. It was a tomato broth with chicken, and then I watched the server sprinkle a handful of peanuts on it. That didn't seem like peanut soup to me and it did not taste like peanuts. My partner said the mushroom soup was average but OK. She also ordered an Arancini that she liked a lot. It's a rice ball with fillings. I ordered a grilled caprese sandwich that was very good. We ordered a large Loaded Potato Soup to go, but when we got home and checked it, it looked like a medium-size soup. Not much for $8.25. I hope that Momma G's hasn't had to cut so many corners in the new space that it will the quantity and quality of food to decline. We will try it again.

My fiance planned a wonderful mountain getaway for us, and lucky for me- we had dinner reservations here. It was so chilly in December, We had a cold mountain day, and we bundled up to go to our dinner reservations and I have to say- I wasn't expecting much when I heard the name "Grill". I was thinking- burgers, fries, your typical post-ski grub. I was wrooong! We strolled into the coziest little restaurant and were greeted by the two lovely people working there. Felt like I very sweet family vibe. They steered us in the directions of the pasta dishes we ordered, and we had the Soup of the Day to start- I believe it was some kind of Tomato bisque and that hit the spot. The Hazelnut pasta was a hit for my fiance, and I loved that he got to try such a classic Oregon flavor in a pasta- how fun. My chanterelle ravioli filled me up so fast, I also loved being able to try chanterelles in this format. Both dishes felt very creative and full of so much Oregon pride! Delicious!

Great service, great drinks, and the best pizza I've had in decades!…read more The beers Backwoods makes are all delicious and smooth-drinking. The service staff was all exceptional. But the pizza! Off the charts!, FULL REVIEW of all Services: If anyone who enjoys hiking, river fishing, or just a general outdoor-focused vacation wants a good, simple getaway with their spouse/loved one, check out the Backwoods brand in Carson, Washington (just north-northeast of Bridge of the Gods/Cascades Locks). Backwoods Cabins offers a really great overnight stay option. The 8 cabins there are all basic "two-room" designs (bedroom and attached bathroom, and a living room / mini-kitchen room). The cabins sport king-sized beds, a gas fireplace and outdoor fire, a mini kitchen with refrigerator/freezer and microwave (no stove/range). I think 3 of the 8 cabins welcome dogs. The Backwoods brand also owns Backwoods Brewery, which is just across the road from the cabin property. They have great microbrew beers (from light lagers to GREAT stouts!). The brewery also has a smokehouse, with fantastic smoked brisket, pulled pork, and house-made sausage/brats. But even better, the Backwoods Brewery offers the BEST PIZZA I've had in decades. The pizza dough is a perfect balance of flavor and texture. It's not too thin and not too thick. The crust is chewy in the middle, with a great crusty edge and base. The red sauce (they also have a white sauce we didn't try) is thick and rich, with a few tomato chunks. It's got a slight spicy bite with a sweet finish. They also have some unique house pizzas. We tried the Whistle Punk - Red sauce, bacon, smoked brisket, peppadew peppers, sweet onions, fresh mozzarella rounds - and the Pepperoni Express - Red sauce, pepperoni, mushrooms, tomatoes, banana peppers, smoked mozzarella. Both were outstanding. I'd go so far as to say both Donna and I deemed these the best pizzas we've had in 35+ years (noting that our first date was at a pizza joint in Fife we both thought was the best-ever pizza). If you stay in the Backwoods Cabins, you get two coupons for free drinks at the brewery (beer/wine/cider/cocktails) as well as an assortment of snacks for your hiking adventures, and a full S'mores kit to use over the gas fire pit. And if you are in a dog-friendly cabin, you get complimentary treats, and water/food bowls for your canines.

The dishes came and were not just good, but frigging delicious. There were fresh, crunchy vegetables, the incredible beef, and plenty of rice. My boys, who can be annoyingly picky, cleaned their plates. I had never been to the actual restaurant, because it is not in an area I regularly find myself. My son had a medical appointment right on NW 22nd, so we left early and headed to The Soop. I will always order their food to be delivered, it is my Korean ride-or-die. That said, the food is just that much better if you dine in. The space is odd and feels half done - the display of microgreens is now just containers, as far as I can see. Folks - none of that matters! Start eating your food, and the place starts to feel downright charming. I've been watching far too many K-dramas, and had recently seen a few with characters making their own Pajeon - a savory, huge scallion pancake. I decided to try this myself. I got a side of kimchi. It really was huge the size of the plate it was served on, and still I almost finished it!! The prices are good for better-than-most food. I have brought friends there several times, and ordered delivery for a group. My friends have loved the food, and asked how I found it. If this was in SE, where I live, it would be packed. Maybe I'm glad it isn't so I can get my pajeon without a big wait. Next time you're craving some Korean food, trust me, the Soop is where you should get it from. Heck, if you're hungry, just impulsively order from The Soop! You will be glad you did.

The teokkpokki was great though! The sauce was very good with the rice cakes and the egg and gyoza brought it all together well! The store itself is in a bit of a weird place with a parking lot and a parking garage nearby, so only if you're familiar with the area, is it easy to park nearby. The lady working the counter was very nice! It is a order at the counter and sit at a table type of place which isn't too bad of a style in a smaller store!
