So glad we went explored a bit further. We were going to go to another coffee shop, but saw that it had Costco muffins (bleck). So, I stopped here and asked where they get their baked goods. A bakery from Mollalla (sp?) is where they get their baked goods, and boy, are they Terrific! We treated ourselves to a scone and a brownie with cookie dough on top, and everything else in the case looked good, too! The coffee was terrific as was my hubby's steamer. Since it was breakfast time, we also had the croissant sandwich and the Gyro breakfast wrap. The eggs were nice and hot, as were the drinks. My daughter really enjoyed the kids area, asking us to read 4 of the books (very unusual for her). So glad we found this humble on the outside, but so much greater on the inside coffee shop. Also, every detail of the decor was thought out down to a two carts on either end of the shop with napkins and straws. I was very pleased to see sugar free and natural honey options to sweeten my coffee, too! On top of all of that, the ladies that work there are genuinely nice people. We stopped for coffee and ended up getting a delicious scone too. We would have grabbed another one if it wasn't the last. Our lattes were great, the scone was perfect and everyone was very nice. We will definitely stop if whenever we find ourselves in the area again. The other bakeries in town weren't worth the stop. It was busy but that always means it's worth your time. read more

The Grind is a great place to get some good coffee. My personal favorite (not on the menu) is an Iced White Chocolate Americano. Amazingly yummy (though sometimes new baristas don't know how to make it quite right - but someone always makes sure they know just how I like it). My niece and nephew love the Milky Way frappe. Their biscuits and gravy are delicious, as well. The atmosphere is pleasant and chill. read more

Warm pita, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, mocha frappe, chocolate muffin - all terrific. Friendly staff and smiling clientele. The guy delivering supplies got a kiss on the cheek! Estacada is small, but we do have a lot of Coffee Houses, but if you want the best - The Grind is the place to go! The coffee is wonderful, the staff: delightful and according to my 10 year old - "they make the best biscuits and gravy - even better than yours, Mom" He doesn't get points with me, but surely does with the Grind! The Grind is a clean, attractive little coffee shop that features coffee from Portland Roasting Company with their own house blend. Located on Hwy 224 with easy access and good parking, it's a great stop for people heading through town. The shop features a small food menu of soup and sandwiches as well as outstanding pastries delivered fresh daily from a baker in Molalla - possibly the best Pumpkin muffin I've ever tasted. I stop by here on occasion when we drive through to go to the dog park at McIver. Their coffee roast is great and everyone is really friendly, it's a cute little place. My only complaint is about the inconsistency of the taste of my latte. There were a few times when it just tasted watered down. Maybe they had a new barista? Either way they are worth checking out! read more

This cafe is one of the best businesses in this little town! The staff are professional & kind; able & thorough. I even love their House Coffee, which comes w/2 refills (& a choice of a ceramic mug, if you prefer). There's a wide variety of choices: coffee, plain, frou-frou, hot, cold, blended, caff or decaf - - tea/chai, lots of variations on that also. Regular & GF (gluten-free) baked goods. Remember to ask for an item if you only see, for example, 1 Peach Scone, but want to order 2 (one for later?) - - they don't put ALL the baked goods out @ one time. WiFi is good, & the Password is plainly posted @ the counter. Restroom is kept clean & stocked. Small kids' table, some kids' books, etc., sits in one far corner. There are window seats @ tables for 2, a high counter (bar) w/tall stools (seats about 4?), several tables for 2 - 4, & a longer table (may be 2 pushed together) that accommodates about 8 people comfortably. Also a round table tucked near front door, seats 6 - 8. Intimate atmosphere. Lots of gentle locals, in groups or solo (solos working on their laptop computers, or studying a book or workbook). Good locale to meet up w/someone, since it is on Highway 224 (main thoroughfare in Estacada). Prices are lower than @ a Starbucks. Don't forget the all-day Breakfast choices & lunch/early dinner choices. Something for everyone. Delish! read more

They make the best Mocha's ever. Starbucks taste's burnt . Theirs is creamy and smooth on the palete. Service is the best. They remember what you drink, and have a positive and oft times funny personalities. Love that Erin girl who works there. What a hoot. I feel like family when I go in. Great little breakfasts and quick lunches. Recommend this place as a must stop at when in Estacada. read more

was a regular , but since new ownership, customer service sucks they used to bring your food and drink to your table now you have to pick it up and the food shows up cold and takes a long time to arrive. so i think it's time to find a new place for ( biscuits and gravy) would NOT give it a one star. read more

This place is what I call a hidden gem. The coffee is great and way better than starbucks. When I visit Estacada, this on my to-go list!

Really good coffee. But don't go here if you want in and out of here quickly. Slowest baristas ever. However, very friendly.
