    Side salad and clam chowder

Got into town on a Friday kind of late. We checked into our hotel then really wanted a good dinner. Found this place and wow was it yummy!! Was my two boys and I. The ribs was super tasty, the pasta was delicious and my stuffed pork roast was delicious too! We all loved our food! We had enough leftover for dinner the next day too!! The waitress was kind and was a nice atmosphere. Would go again if we come back. Definitely recommend this place!!

Showed up on a Friday night, it was my birthday and I really wanted a steak and potato dinner. Thankfully no reservation was needed but I could see it being more necessary for more popular seasons. Cute restaurant, like a old house transformed, really only smelled like an old house in the tiny narrow bathrooms Service was absolutely fantastic, everyone we interacted with was so lovely. They all seemed to know everyone who was dining there, we were for sure the out of towners. I had a filet with side salad and baked potato. The vegetable side was well seasoned and cooked well. Basic side dish but done so well I ate them all. The thought that went into making my baked potato ready to scoop out was a small thought but I appreciated it! Even my salad was cold, crispy and crunchy. The bread on the table was delicious. My stake was yummy and loved the jus and mushrooms served with them. Hubs had the prime rib, he said it was one of the best ones he had in a long times he had the clam chowder to start and it was super tasty!!! Glad we had my birthday meal here!

We came here last minute and even allowed us to bring our service dog. Food was really good appetizers and main dish. I wish I could have room to try the desserts but probably next time park situation. Do you have to park around the corner but it's still worth it first time in this establishment I can't wait to come back and try other dishes..

Best part is the friendly service, which we found particularly lacking during this visit to Mariposa. Everyone that helped us was welcoming and helpful. My husband and I came for dinner on a Saturday night and were able to her seated right away. We each ordered the specials, which comes with a soup or salad. I tried the french onion which had a rich broth and a nice gooey cheese on top. My husband got the clam chowder, side note, it has bacon in it. The food itself was good, especially after a long day of hiking in Yosemite. This place is on the pricier side and other than the 2 specials we ordered nothing else on the menu really caught our eyes. The interior is very wooden and old timey.

Amazing place! Food is tasty and plentiful. Highly skilled serving and kitchen staff make for a wonderful experience! We come here several times a year and have always been pleased with our experience.

I really enjoy this sort of oldtimey style steakhouse. I highly recommend reservations, it get busy as there's not to many restaurants in the area. Also you have a 15 minute window before they give someone waiting your table. We had the mushroom appetizer, was in a beef broth, broth is on the salty side but dipping my toasted bread in it was delicious. We ordered cocktails and they were strong. The paloma was surprisingly easy to drink and I'm not a grapefruit fan. Their menu stays the same, the prices change. They do have their specials written in the white board by the hostess. We ordered the specials prime ribs with a baked potato and the broccoli cheddar soup. Prime ribs was perfection, not to fatty but an enjoyable amount. The mushrooms in it were not the same as the appetizer ones. They had more of a white wine flavor & not salty. Baked potato was great. The broccoli cheddar soup was rich. Very thick and creamy not overtly cheesy flavored, better than most I've had for sure. I got the chicken Alfredo with a salad. Very creamy garlicky and cheesy. Very delightful. I highly recommend this place.

Great place to visit! Staff was attentive and very friendly. Ordered an old fashion and a blood orange lemon drop! Very tasty, and also ordered glass of wine with our meal! I ordered the filet and my partner ordered the new York steak! Maybe my favorite part was the cream of tomato soup!

The food was absolutely delicious! The staff were very attentive and polite. We also had the onion rings and the creme brûlée which were amazing!!! A Valentine's well spent!

We stopped in just before 6:00 and we're greeted by a friendly woman getting the restaurant ready for opening. We later came to find out she was an owner. She was so sweet and offered to seat us before the servers actually showed up, as they had worked a local event that day. The waitress soon came and our wonderful experience began. They have a great wine list and wine cocktails. We ordered three dishes and were pleased with the presentation and flavors. Pica-Pau - a traditional Portuguese dish with beef and spices in a delicious broth. It's served with bread for soaking up the broth. I really enjoyed this dish, especially the broth. Crostini di Mare - shrimp on crostini's with a tangy garlicky sauce on top. This was my favorite and I wouldn't hesitate to order this again. Sea Legs - octopus over a sweet potato mash. This was tasty as well and the octopus was cooked perfectly. The sweet potato mash is divine!! We also had a Caprese salad, pretty average, but nice presentation. The outdoor seating area is comfortable and so nice to people watch on the main drag. We really enjoyed ourselves and plan to go back next time we visit. The service is excellent, portions in line with tapas and atmosphere is great.

I enjoyed my wine and if you're a sweet tooth, dessert wine is the way to go! We ordered the Spicy Moroccan Lamb Meatballs with some cornbread and really enjoyed it! I do think the dishes are slightly on the pricier side, but the quality and finesse of the dishes makes them definitely worth it. Our meatballs were so soft and tasty. And we couldn't help but finish all the leftover sauce it came with by dipping our bread in it! I enjoy the vibe of the inside. I love all the blue dim lighting and there's even a small stage for folks to perform on busier nights. The patio is in a prime spot if you wanna enjoy the sidewalk vibes, especially on a Friday/Saturday night or on Thursday's if downtown is hosting a street fair! Def coming back!
