Although we had already gone through basic obedience training with a different trainer, she was still really reactive. I signed us up for 8 weeks of advanced training, hoping to help socialize her more and calm down her automatic response to "eat" other dogs, birds, sticks, basically everything around her. We completed Valkyrie's training, and I now can tell her to "leave it" and she does!! I never dreamed I'd ever be able to walk her and play fetch with her off leash, but after this training I really can do so with confidence. Her basic skills have sharpened, and she learned new tricks like placing on objects and dropping her ball on command. She and I have worked and practiced together, using the tools Valkyrie provided, and I can say that we've learned, gained confidence in each other, and now work as a team rather than dog and owner. I also learned more about how to "read" my dog so that I can anticipate her behavior before it happens. Training is done at different locations, to allow you to experience "real-life" situations. The range staff visibly comes by every so often to ensure everything is being handled with care and to ensure everyone has the range badge. Yes, this range is all outdoors.
