Been here many times but not for a long time. It is always wonderful. We both love a good gyro ( PRONOUNCED YIRO in Greek). In Greece you will find this hand held sandwich being eaten by the locals in all areas. Having been many times I know MY YIROS! This gyro will compete with any other restaurant around. An oldie but goodie! Today we ordered Greek salads with chicken online for pickup. When we stopped Vu to pick them up the location was incredibly busy. Nonetheless, we were able to easily pick up or order and bring it home to enjoy. I devoured my salad and their delicious homemade pita bread. A hit as always! read more

I went here two days ago and got food with my husband and kids. They where busy but we waited a ridiculous amount of time. We ordered four total items and waited 50 minutes! It was two kids meals and two gyros. There were three girls working the front and only two were working (clearly struggling) and one girl with air pods in and talking on FaceTime not bothering to help with anything. I would not recommend anyone come to this place, at least not if this lady is working. read more

Ordered take out before work when I was crashing at a hotel near by. Went here on the recommendation of a bunch of night shift girls at work. I'd been smelling their food on multiple occasions and had to have it. I preordered and it wasn't ready when I got there, not too big a deal. It was ready pretty quick after I walked in and gave my name so it's whatever. I got a lamb gyro with salad and pita with olive tapenade. It. Was. Perfect. Picked up a take out order. The person who took my order was new so it was no surprise that she didn't know if the soup was gluten free. After checking with 4 people they said it was. So, I ordered a pork gyro, lemon potatos, and 2 soups (1 for my GF wife). The soups were not thickened by blending some of the rice. Just a flavorless broth with chicken, rice and celery. There was no evidence of lemon or egg. Both thrown out after one taste. The potatos were fried steak fries. Not baked like they should be. Heavily spiced but no taste of lemon. Another dish in the trash. The pork gyro was excellent with only one complaint. I watched some of the young ladies put the gyros together and they were huge with lots of meat and a handful of fries. I didn't watch the new person build mine but when i got home it was much smaller than the others I saw and it only had 4 fries on it. I would really like to be able to love Gyro Co. However, i cannot bring myself to spend money on a place that treats their employees so horribly. The fact that just from a customers point of view i can tell how poorly their young girls are treated, disgusts me. The employees seem to be running around doing all of the service and side work. Meanwhile the manager (i assume manager) bosses them around from a booth in the middle of the restaurant while on her phone as if she's a customer. They also talk derogatory to employees. Out of the 2 times i've been there, i have heard insanely rude remarks from who seems to be the cook to young girls calling one of the girls "ugly" "piggy" etc. It is so sad to me, Gyro Co. management seriously needs to do better. We came here for a pit lunch stop. This eatery has a large space with high ceilings. You can feel comfortable eating here during a pandemic. The staff was friendly and patient as we took a few minutes to figure out our order. I ordered the greek salata with chicken shawarma. I liked how this salad had huge chunks of quality feta cheese. I wasn't a huge fan of the baby tomatoes but they were still delicious. The chicken shawarma was the most delicious part of the salad obviously. I would come back here if ever in the area! read more

This is my go-to spot for one of my favorite foods: gyros! Their pork gyros, in salad, wrap or plate form, is a crispy, savory treat that rivals the best US gyro spots for quality. I've had almost everything on the menu by now and keep returning because everything is always fresh and they maintain a great standard of quality. Their Greek dressing, which they sell by the bottle, is easily the best salad dressing ive ever tried and is a regular staple in my fridge, it is good on everything. As they say, third time is a charm. I have tried two other gyro places and this one is by FAR the best. We just happened to notice this place and it was around lunchtime so we pulled over and gave it a try. Low and behold, they told us they just opened last Friday. As you can see from the food photo, it was a large and fresh salad with a big old chunk of feta on it. I got the Pork Gyro and my friend got the Chicken Gyro. Both were delicious! The only thing I wish they would do is shave the meat right off the gyro as you order it. They got pretty busy while we were there so they started shaving it after we had ordered for the people who were coming in after us. I understand they most likely need a big batch of meat ready to go, but I'm slightly high maintenance and I would prefer my meat shaved off when I order it. It would not get any fresher than that. Staff was nice and helpful and the establishment is large and very clean. There is ketchup on each table but no salt and pepper. I think the greek dressing could have used a dash of salt (again, personal preference). Kudos to The Gyro for being the best place out of three that we tried in the past two weeks! read more

Stepping forward: Excellent falafel wrap. Great fries with feta and dip. Cleanliness. One step back: Loud music that featured Halloween theme was bogus and intruding. Not fun. Menu prices were increased at checkout without letting us know that the posted prices were old. Overall, felt like a Moe's Mexican Grill but with Greek food but something was off. I first thought that like most contemporary Greek or Italian pizza restaurants, the food is now part of American culture. It doesn't have to proclaim it with music or with a painting of the Partheon. They listed their lemon commercial mixer on Facebook market as "like new"... thought it was "like new" as they said on the description but it was a lemon... the mixer keeps getting stuck and not usable at all. Customers should avoid unethical business like this. Edited: I could give you guys screenshots as proof that they were selling their pizza mixer for $1300 saying it's in excellent condition so I bought it. But its a defective unit. We are also small business owner and we wouldn't sell that to another small business owner saying that it's in excellent condition. We will throw this away along with the $1300 but the review stays here since it's the truth. By the way we drove 2 hours to pick it up too. read more

The food is always, ok mostly, fresh. I have on more than one occasion recurved the dried out scrapings because either no one made a back up or the server didn't want to make the effort. However I gave it a one star because of a "takeout" surcharge of 3% on a gift card. NOAA take out surcharge would indicate they wanted to charge a little extra for the box or the bags of the plastic silverware but I just bought a gift card. Mormor restaurants are putting surcharges on their meals. And they don't tell the customer. I will not be back at this restaurant for that simple fact. Take out is part of doing business. I ordered a side of fries and two meals that were supposed to include fries but did not get any. I got all the way home to see the pitiful meals I spent $60 on and when I went back, they offered to either give me the fries or a refund of $5 for the side of fries. That was it. They didn't even offer to give the fries that were included with the dinner plate. To add to it, their phones were disconnected. How convenient for them. I would not recommend this place. I used them to cater my sons birthday party and they were excellent!!!! They accommodated all my requests and were the most customer friendly staff I've encountered in a while. Their food was beyond delicious and very authentic Greek food. I highly highly recommend!!!! Businesses like this deserve all the kudos and support. We ordered some sides, a falafel pita sandwich, orange pie (which is to die for BTW!) and sweet potato fries on a rainy cold day. And the food was so satiating. The girl at the cashier asked if I was okay waiting 10-15 minutes - I said sure! People in line behind me were getting their orders before me. I asked the cashier if my order was coming and I think they realized the mistake. I ended up waiting 40 minutes (!!) for 2 chicken wraps. After a long day at work, I wanted the food somewhat quickly and to go home. I didn't ask for anything, but to their credit, the girl gave me a free baklava because she was sorry about the wait.
