If there were zero stars that is what GRECIA would be receiving. I am going to be posting 3 photos. The first one is what my hair looked like when I came in. The second one is how she completely destroyed my hair and turned it grey/silver and the third is after I had to go back to my normal hair dresser and repay to get it corrected as she refused to give me my money back to get it corrected I went there as I am staying out in her area taking care of my mom who just had surgery and couldn't leave my mom long enough to get to my hairdresser. I came in with weaved blonde hair with root growth. I have had blonde hair for 30 years. I told her I wanted to go blonder. She said he didn't want to put anything on my ends. I didn't agree but fine. There was no reason she couldn't have ran it through the last 5 minutes to just brighten it but whatever. She said she would put in a few darker than what I had low lights to make my blonde pop. I said fine I have had this done before. What she ended up doing was a complete reverse weave turning most of my hair very dark brown with SILVER/GREY highlights (remember I went in asking to be blonder). I was left with ABSOLUTELY NO blonde on my head. I was literally shaking when it was done I was so upset!! She knew I was clearly upset and didn't care at all. I told her I needed her to write down what she had done so I could go get this fixed. It was funny too because the hairdresser next to her said "THATS YOUR GO TO" then when I pulled up Yelp and saw the first picture on here with the dark hair and silver streak I almost threw up. She clearly knows nothing else. She did have the Gaul to tell my I owed her 200.00 After I cried all the way home when I got home I was so sickened by my hair that texted her telling her I really believed she needed to return my money so I could get this fixed. She replied by saying "I didn't understand the consultation and that she did a great job on my hair and provided me great service and had no intention of giving me my money back" ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Clearly she believes a consultation consists of her just deciding what she wants to do but listen GRECIA a consultation consist of the client telling YOU WHAT THEY WANT DONE! Please forgive how horrible my grey hair photo looks like as I had been crying so much. OH AND GRECIA NOTICE AFTER THE CORRECTION NO BREAKAGE IMAGINE THAT It ended up costing me $525.00 to get a weave. $200.00 for GRECIA. $225.00 to get it corrected as best we could and $100.00 to hire someone to stay with my mom all day so I could go get this fixed. This is RIDICULOUS. Please do not spend your money at this place because if they mess up your hair they won't do anything about it. Buyer beware!!!!! I will be contacting the State Board next and the Better Business Bureau maybe they will realize to treat their customers better!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and p.s GRECIA my hairdresser pointed out a couple areas in the back where the foils had bled. Go back to school, learn what blonde hair is and learn what a consultation consists is and how not to bleed your foils read more

So happy followed Roberto to do my hair, he always does an awesome job and my hair receives so many compliments! Best advice is to just let him do whatever he wants because he will be honest and recommend the color and cut that will best suit you. Update 5-26-17 He is worth every penny! Roberto is very accomodating with his schedule and uses the best products that are more natural with no chemical smells. So happy he was able to fix my big hot mess today!!! Stylist review: ROBERTO 2017 He is still so freaken amazing. I wanted a new look for my 30th and wow he came through. He cut about 5 inches and gave me an amazing hair style. I will see him again to dye my hair! 5 stars doesn't give him justice. 2016 Absolutely magical! I had no idea what I wanted and since my sister has had her hair done by him I totally ask him to do anything because my hair was a hot mess ( six months since I had a hair cut) Let me tell you ladies and gents. This has to be the best hair style I have ever had. I wish I took before and after pics but I totally will when I get it called in a few weeks. I have curly hair and I've always had a problem with stylist because they don't work well with my hair. Once I straighten it I see the uneven disaster. I can honestly say this was one of the few times my hair looks amazing both straighten and with my natural curls. I wish I could give him more stars. Not this time! Today was my first visit at this salon Dee was amazing, she greeted me right away and listen to my ideas (or lack of, as I didnt know what I wanted to do) Dee gave me her suggestions and future plans for my hair. My cut was done in long layers with side swipe bangs. The color was perfect and my hair was left looking healthy. She took great time in coloring, cutting and styling my hair. Very nice salon! Steven Valdez has been doing my hair for 2 years. He is awesome! He always goes over everything you want when you first arrive and always has the health of your hair in mind. He won't do anything that would damage it. He is very knowledgeable when dying reds. Most importantly, getting the red out when your tired of it! I went from dark brown, to red brown to blonde and he never skips a beat. I have never been happy with my blonde with past hair stylists. It's always brassy or orange. The only stylist I have seen at this salon is Evangelina. But I have seen the other stylists' work and they all seem really young, cool, and very skilled. I followed Eva here and have been going to her for almost 8 years. Literally, moved to Long Beach then to Santa Barbara over the course of 7 years and would go back to get my hair cut with her when I was in the area. I even went to her one more time, 2 months ago before I moved to Philly. I even got my mom coming to see her (and my sister whenever she visits from Texas)! Clearly, we've developed a bond. From a short bob to super long layers to blunt bangs. I have done it all with her help! I give her a lot of freedom most of the time with very few parameters (usually 'edgy' being one of them). She usually has great ideas and is very current. Whether I am feeling brave enough to cut off 10 inches OR growing out my hair and needing some weight off my shoulders, she totally gets me. I tried 2 different stylists out of convenience when I had moved, but my hair still felt heavy and not a cleanly cut as Eva leaves it. While, I don't color my hair (I happen to love my natural coloring), I know I could trust her to do an amazing job. I can't imagine anyone leaving her less than overjoyed with their hair. I will continue to go back to her on my visits back to Cali. Now to find a new stylist in Philly. Wish me luck! read more

Strictly this review is for Tab who is ah-mazing! As for the salon itself, it gets a solid 4 stars from me. I made an appointment for a weekend with Tab (she works certain weekdays at Vespertine in addition to Sundays and works the rest of the week closer to her house). The last salon I went to overtexturized my hair and I absolutely hated the way they cut it. I also really needed it re-colored. I came to know Tab from my sister who regularly goes to her as well and she is honestly one of the sweetest, funniest girls I've ever met. She knows hair well and does it good. I love the way it looks and feels and she really puts the time in to make it look gorgeous. Her prices are also great (trust me, I'm from Orange County) and I already made my next appointment with her. The salon itself was a little confusing - it's located across the street from Ontario Mills along the side near the freeway. It's located between a car wash and car shop and you can get there by going through the stairs above the sign and going upstairs. It's pretty decently sized and decorated nicely but I just thought the location was a tad odd. read more

Been going to Angie for years and enjoy getting haircuts there. I've even gotten my husband to get his hair cuts there when he has the time.. She does a great job and is really friendly and great to talk to. The place is relatively new. They recently relocated to a space above a car wash. I would give this place five stars but I have to knock them down a star for only having a staircase to get up to their area. There is no elevator or alternative method of going up to the space above the car wash. This is bad for people with bad knees or handicapped. This is also bad for new mothers that are carrying a really heavy infant carrier up the stairs because there is no way to lug a stroller up there.. There isn't a changing table in the bathroom either, so I had to reluctantly change my daughter's diaper on the waiting area couch. I'd recommend coming here if you have great knees and are willing to go up the stairs.. hee hee.. read more

She listens to what you want, but at the same time, gives you great input on what trends are in at the moment, and what would look best for your face shape and color.
