I love this Place!!! I have been going to Libby for about 2.5 years now and I have never had a bad haircut. She listens to what you want and actually does it! My favorite part is getting a shampoo first. Her shampoos make you feel like Royalty. I was in an accident recently, and getting my haircut there truly felt good for the Soul. Went to the hair studio today to try to get a haircut for men. I waited outside while employees smoked cigarettes. I tried asking if they were open and the employee just turned away. I called on the phone to try to make an appoinment anyways. They said they all all booked up. I could see 3 people standing around and all i wanted was a quick 10 minute haircut. It seems they only want to cut hair for women. Horrible business, cant wait to see you go under :) then a real business can open shop. read more

I was referred by a friend to see Libby. I cannot stress enough how amazing she was! I went in not really knowing what I wanted, just knowing I was fed up with my hair. She took the time to talk to me about what she was thinking, and show me the length, BEFORE cutting! I will say, I didn't think to say I wanted a wash with my haircut, I am just used to that being included, but it wasn't included and she didn't have time because I only had an appointment for a cut. I have super long and thick hair, most hairdressers wont even touch my hair. Upon seeing Lorren at the hair studio, she not only embraced the challenge of cutting, coloring and styling my hair, but she did a wonderful job as well. I have had Lorren color my hair a few different times now, the first we did a "snooki red" and she did such an amazing job on it that we did not have to touch up or recolor for a few months. I also had the pleasure of having Lorren do my hair for my wedding. I have never been able to get my hair to hold a curl nor has any other stylist. However Lorren with her amazing talent not only was able to curl may hair for the wedding but it held for the entire event and was still curled the following morning! The quality of work she does is beyond five stars and her customer service is wonderful. Lorren is my forever stylist and I would recommend her to anyone I know. read more

I have been searching for a new stylist for a few months now and chose this salon because of all the wonderful reviews. Megan cut and colored my hair this morning. I LOVE it and her. I am really picky with my hair and she really paid attention to every detail and really asked me so many questions along the process(since it was my first time with her) and I really appreciated it. I came out with the best color and the cutest pixie cut I have ever received and truly I mean it or I would no take the time to write a review. This salon is a hidden gem in Concord! I selected this salon by the reviews I read on yelp. Based on the reviews, I requested Libby. This salon is very reasonably priced, is very busy and the staff is very nice. Libby listens and will cut your hair as you request it. I am growing my hair out and Libby suggested waiting longer inbetween hair cuts and is trimming it and will most likely go with a layered due to my curly, wavy hair. All the persons that come out of the salon look good and their hair is nicely cut. They are efficient and fast. I was paying $35-$50 for a haircut that I was unhappy with, that is why I selected The hair studiio. They must be good, as I always have to wait for an appt a few days, as they are always busy. read more

Memorial weekend about 9 years ago, I did a home color kit and ended up with pink hair. (at that time pin hair was not in). I searched and searched and found Libby. Needless to say she fixed my mess, sent me home with a great color and cut. I have been a loyal patron since. After my hair went from naturaly straight to naturally curly, she had ideas and gave me a hair cut that I thought I could never pull off. Wow, I just had my hair cut by Libby and she did such an awesome job! She's great! She explained everything she was doing so I wouldn't get freaked out ( I've had bad cuts in the past). Originally found this place through yelp because I needed a good salon that wouldn't break the bank! I have always been pleased with my regular maintenance and trims, I have long layered hair. This week I decided to do something different and did a bright red ombre to contrast my naturally black hair. Im so impressed with the results! Meagan was my stylist. She was patient and professional. She listened to my ideas and was great about explaining each step. I was a hair dye virgin and needed the extra attention. In the last year I have had Megan give me a trim and today I had Libbe give me a really new fresh haircut, she cut 6" off my hair and gave me a great new style. i had libby she did me rigth i am absolutely in love with my hair she did a cut and style, gave me perfect layers the exact color i wanted and i was out of there for 85 b4 tip that happens so no where else! been waiting for a haircut like this for ages so glad i found libby. she wasnt the most talkative person in there but she is definitely talented she styled my hair in gorgeous curls in just minutes and they stayed all day i slept over night and they r still curly! love it and highly recommend it! read more

They do a great job time and time again at a reasonable cost. I'd give them 5 stars if getting in on short notice was easier (though I had no problem this past time). Other salons I've gone to require booking well in advance, so I'm not surprised. They are a busy salon. They usually do a good job on my husband's hair too, though the last gal didn't know how to do a prohibition cut. I moved out of the area some years back but go to them when I'm in town if possible. Went to go get my hair styled for prom by Megan who was very sweet and did a great job with suggestions, and I was the only client there but in the middle of doing my hair I asked if I can get my eyebrows done as well and Megan said the other girl does that. The other girl was sitting at the desk on Facebook and eating and said she couldn't do it because she had a so called client coming in, when we were finally finished getting my hair done 20 minutes later nobody showed up so I asked again and she once again said no and continued eating so clearly she didn't want my business that will be the last time I go there, again it was my prom day a very important day and for her her Facebook and food were more important I feel bad because I really did like Megan's work but because of her coworker I will never return read more

I have been going to Jaymie for years for cuts and color and she has always done a fabulous job on my hair! i went to libby because everyone raves about her, well im going to be the opposite. i walked in with a grown out a-line that i wanted stacked in the back with a dramatic point in front with no length taken off in front, seemed simple enough. first of all, who cuts hair with a razor anymore let alone a bob? she took 2 inches of length in the front and when i told her she gave me an attitude and said she didnt i had to have jaimie come fix it because it was so uneven, im not joking when i say my 7yr old son could have done better. read more
