Nice ambiance, but unfortunately, my first experience was not very impressive. I could tell there was going to be an automatic gratuity added to the bill based on the lack of attention from our server. I asked for an extra side of sauce, but it didn't come out with my meal. I was so hungry that I got tired of waiting and started eating without it. Our server eventually came by when I was already halfway through my meal, but it would have been nice if she followed up to check whether everything had come out as requested. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and honestly, I've had larger chicken fillets from Chick-fil-A. There was significantly more bun than chicken, which was disappointing. Beautiful interior with an upscale beachy vibe, nice view of the High Street courtyard, and great service but food is not commensurate. It's a shame because with a few fixes in food quality, this place would be a wonderful place to enjoy an evening in Dunwoody. We had the oysters which tasted very off and not fresh - my wife wouldn't eat more than 2. At more than $4 per oyster - these should really be top quality and not something that you regret having ordered or worry about being sick. The Lobster roll was a nice, albeit, quite oversized buttery brioche bun and full of lobster including claw meat - certainly a decent value at $39 but unfortunately it simply did not taste good. I don't know if they are storing the lobster meat for days or weeks and then reheating as orders come in but that's what it tasted like. The homemade potato chips were both stale and bland tasting and our fries were served cold. The fish in the fish and chips was so overbreaded that it was inedible. We attempted to order chocolate ice cream with sprinkles and were told that we would have to order an enormous $25 sundae to get the sprinkles - the manager might want to revisit that policy as we left without ordering desert since they wouldn't extend us 10 cents of sprinkles after spending $130. Based on the other food items, I wouldn't be surprised if the desserts were already preassembled prior to arriving at the restaurant, and thus the sprinkles couldn't be moved or added. read more

I remember when this retail area was being built. I completely forgot about it. This has to be the same builder as the Avalon in Alpharetta because it looks so much like it. Went for Sunday brunch with my friend. This place is so beautiful. It reminds me of a restaurant on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Very beachy, open vibes. Very clean. All the servers and bus guys were really nice. The man singing live music was amazing. His setlist was great. He was singing SZA, Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, etc. Very entertaining. Definitely tipped him to support. This place is huge. They have several outdoor tables, downstairs seating, upper level and along the side tables also. I really hope this place stays open and is packed wall-to-wall in the summer. The food and drinks were really good. We had guava margaritas and sangria's. I loved the guava lemonade. The monkey bread was good, but it needed to be fresher, should have sent it back. The dynamite shrimp was good, the crab and shrimp bruschetta was good. I could see why this may take some time to come up from 3.5 stars. Atlanta has a lot of options, even directly in the area. That aside, I'm a fan of this chain and was happy to see it made it's way to Atlanta. Oddly enough,- the Crispy tofu dish is my go to. It comes with an avocado spread and plantains. It is not for everyone! I will say something about the sish wasn't quite the same as other locations, but Ira been too long since I was in Miami to recall the exact details. Our server was soft spoken, but very friendly. We had a manager touch in a couple of times, which was also a nice touch. It seemed to be some slow times /miscommunication with the bar. The food came out very speedy (10x drink times). There is an elevator, need to make note. Otherwise crowded days or weak bladder_ your going to make tour way down. A couple of flights. The area has good parking options in the deck and lots of space to walk around. I think you can get better priced beverages across the way, but I really enjoyed the frozen. That will run you about 20 bucks per beverage. I say the average meal is around 30, so once it's all said and done easy to rack up 80pp. Our group had gratuity of 18 percent included. I'm a 20 percent typically, so I find that more than fair. Keep the service from.dropping due to cheapskate lol. I didn't go for dessert, though it looked like a good variety. The happy hour is a weekday 4 to 6 type of thing, which I didn't go for. It seemed more like for oyster fans. They had live music, but I wish they switched it for something more upbeat after 8pm. I've been here a couple of times for their happy hour and I must say, it's pretty great. The bartenders are very attentive, warm and they're quick to fix any error which I can appreciate. I've tried a couple things on their menu like the smash burger taco, brussel sprouts and Parmesan fries. Loved all three. The taco is flat; kinda similar to a tostada so two hands are required. For drinks, I've had the Pearl diver, spicy margarita and espresso martini. Honestly, it depends who makes the drinks. On my first visit, the bartender made the Pearl diver really well. It's a rum based drink and the flavors were well balanced however on my most recent visit, it was super tart. And the spicy margarita was better on the first visit too. But the espresso martini takes the cake on all of em. On this most recent visit, She made it with reposado. I've never had it like that and it was a solid 10/10. They brew it in house and it's made with cinnamon syrup. Whew. It puts all of the drinks to shame. I wanted to try the crab avocado dish but They didn't have all the ingredients on this visit. I first went for happy hour and had an amazing time. Sadly the menu changed a bit but I'm sure will still be worth it! Everything was colorful and seasoned well. Definitely 5 stars with the live music for the night. My second visit the food was a miss for us. Overcooked chicken and undercooked salmon for a few of us that ordered these dishes and on top of that, it felt like the potatoes they served us were from the previous dinner service and was just heated up. I'd give 3 stars for the beautiful coastal theme and ambiance and the great service that I have received both times visiting. The drinks and apps are probably the only reason I'd come back and possibly the happy hour going forward so one star for the bartender. We were a larger group so they set us in the back private room. It was perfect until another large party was sat right next to us. It's hard to hear each other because the room is enclosed and voices overpower each other. The manager was great and gave us a few desserts to make up for the lack luster dinner service. I definitely recommend trying a few items and drinks to see if you it's your vibe. I've been to Hampton Social a few times and don't know why I'm just now writing this review because the food is consistently good. For appetizers, the oysters were fresh, and the shrimp & crab bruschetta is a must have. So good. For mains, the double Wagyu burger was juicy and full of flavor. The truffle lobster melt with the bisque is delicious, but there's a very small amount of lobster. Still tasty just setting expectations. The honey glazed salmon was bomb. Perfectly cooked with great flavor and I was surprised by how much I liked the carrots. The restaurant is really cute with a coastal vibe, and the patio is such a mood, especially on a nice day. Met up with a friend here for lunch on a Sunday and we had a wonderful time. This cute spot can be found in High Street just behind Perimeter Mall and it was pretty easy to locate as there are several parking decks around. There was no cost to park (woohoooo) but I did notice that the street parking that was available all had signage for a 15 min limit. This place is super cute and bright and I loved the atmosphere - live music, wonderful staff, delicious food and I appreciated that it wasn't overly crowded (prettt sure that was due to the rainy day) so we were able to have a chill brunch and really just hang. Just about everything on the menu sparked my interest but I was super hungry and had the shelter island chicken sandwich and it was amazing. Our first time dining and all the reviews seemed so positive. We didn't have the same experience. Our server was nice but he may have been new , we asked for sliver ware , cocktail forks for the oyster appetizers , which were briny and had pieces of sediment and debris someone in my party got steak and it took a while for him to get a steak knife. The fries were served cold and my entree was more of cafe style than upscale. The pricing didnt correspond to the quality. This was a bday dinner and seemed and truly disappointed. I dined at The Hampton Social for the first time and immediately fell in love with the ambiance. The space is elegantly designed with a coastal vibe. The intricate ceiling details, hanging lights, and a beach-themed color palette gave the space an upscaled look. I stopped by for lunch on a Monday with a friend, and we ended up being the only guests at the time. While the atmosphere was very quiet, it meant we were seated right away and our food arrived quickly. We both shared the Truffle Parmesan Fries ($15). If you're a Parmesan lover, this appetizer won't disappoint you. The fries were perfectly crispy, coated with plenty of cheese, and paired well with the truffle aioli. For my entree, I ordered the Ahi Tuna Bowl ($24.95), which came with seared tuna, quinoa, sweet potato, edamame, avocado, kale, and a drizzle of cilantro cream. There was a little confusion on who our server was, we were seated for about 8 minutes before someone had tended to our table, so that was a little off putting at first, but then we were greeted/ and served by Jessie--She was awesome, very much an "at home" energy, kind and comforting. We started with a Mimosa carafe, which was good. For our apps we ordered the Roasted Brussel sprouts and the spinach dip. The spinach dip was delicious however; I thought the amount of dip was small compared to how many chips they paired with it. The Brussel sprouts were amazing, the goat cheese and honey combo was *chef's kiss**. For our entrees, we ordered the Breakfast Sandwich, and the Fried Chicken Stack. I thought it was just "okay" to be honest. The bacon on the breakfast sandwich was a little too thick , making it a little tough to bite through. The French toast pairing with the fried chicken stack was a different take I hadn't seen. But overall I wasn't super impressed with the food, especially based on what I was told about this place. The no-substitutions policy was somewhat limiting (for example, if someone prefers not to have fries). There are so many kinks they need to work out, seeing as they only launched this summer. Even with the "soft" launch setting, the team delivered warm, spirited service across the board: hosting, bartending, and table service were all on point. Overhead music is a vibrant playlist. Ke, our host, kindly honored my request for patio seating. The communication among the hosting staff was smooth and efficient, which kept things flowing well. Chris behind the bar was a standout--great energy, friendly check-ins, and a natural way of making guests feel welcome. Our server, Ty, was excellent. She managed her section with grace and was incredibly patient and attentive, especially as we navigated some dietary restrictions. QT, the floor manager, personally came by to chat about vegan options and made sure I felt seen and supported in my choices. Much appreciated. One thing to note: there isn't a dedicated fryer for vegan or vegetarian items yet, which means options like the chips, Brussels sprouts, and pretzels aren't suitable. Hopefully, the culinary team considers this moving forward. At this stage of the soft launch, ingredient removals are allowed, but additions or substitutions aren't just yet - no "deconstruction" of the offerings. If you are a fan of costal eats, this would be a spot to try. This is a newer spot in Dunwoody around the high Street area. It has free parking shopping area and it has two floors so you can always find a spot. So coming in the door you'll be greeted on the top floor and then they'll suit you. You can walk around to the bar if you so choose to, that's usually what I do. It is decorated in a lot of nautical themed decor, and is very well put together. The bars are decently sized bar and I usually have a nice number of bartenders there. On certain ice they have music and local artists who come and perform so you might be able to catch a show there as well. So just keep that in mind. They're happy hour is really good. You can probably see that on the pictures that are attached to this review, but it's a really solid happy hour if you want to come in for some bites. I've never sat at a table but I've predominally sat at the bar so my view can only lean toward that. But all of the bar staff has been solid. When you talk sin and they're warm and friendly and they're able to have a conversation with you if service and time allows them to. I've been enough to wear. I'm greeted as soon as I sit down. The staff makes the experience. When I say stap, I also want to include the management as well. The management that I've met has been stellar and very warm and inviting and has been a motivational factor in me coming back. Outside of the staff and the food, the other part is the service. The service time can be an issue here in a rush. Especially on those busy days. It feels like it'll take forever unfortunately, which is the biggest drawback. But the staff does communicate with you so it's not like they're leaving you in the dark about waiting for your pizza LOL. Sand and smoke - this is close to an old fashioned at this establishment. It's solid, but the sweet may throw you off just a little bit. I got mine doctored up a little bit and now I got it just right when I order. Brussel sprouts - they were good, had a lot of flavor to them...really...they had a lot going on (in a good way though). Would get them again. Hampton Caesar salad - The Caesar salad was okay, it was a Caesar salad. That's what you would expect LOL. Pepperoni pizza - The pizza was good. I did unfortunately take a whole pizza down by myself LOL but they're not super big. But it is just the right amount. And on happy hour they're half off. I recently visited Hampton social and it's a literal hidden gem. I love the ambience, love the environment. They had live music, and when it wasn't, the curated playlist was absolutely amazing. The place was full of life. Everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. It's a refreshing new restaurant style in Atlanta, and I'm happy to see it. It's like Martha's Vineyard/Hamptons meet Atlanta. For starters, we ordered the crab and shrimp bruschetta first of all, who would have thought, but that's magic on a piece of bread, love the flavors, love how they brought it together. Had that sun-dried tomato with the micro greens, 10 out of 10 recommend. entrée wise, my companion had the truffle lobster melt with the tomato bisque, and he demolished it; he left no crumbs. I myself had the shrimp tacos with the slaw on the side because I don't typically like slaw, but it was like an Asian take on it. It was wonderful; it added a crisp crunch, and it had a little sauce. Love it, no complaints. For the drinks, I had the Seersucker Squeeze, amazing! It is like a strawberry margarita but not as limey, and I hate lime, so this was perfect. It's very refreshing. It does give summertime, but the restaurant, as I said, is like Hamptons/Martha's Vineyard here, so it's got a crisp, refreshing vibe like those areas. My second had the sand and smoke, the hints of orange, and the brown butter bourbon, giving it that sweet taste, and he loves a sweet old-fashioned. It was perfect. Also, we met the location's manager. He's absolutely amazing. Great guy, great conversation. He gave us the background of it being like a Chicago-based location being brought to Atlanta. He explained that they've been open for about six months. It was amazing. With his leadership style and personality, you can see why the establishment is so well run, and everyone appears to love their job. Our server was so knowledgeable, so helpful. She helped us make many decisions because we had a lot of questions about the menu, and she didn't steer us wrong. The hostess was very sweet and polite. Very welcoming and warm. The experience here was amazing. I don't know, they just embodied the East Coast beaches, Hamptons vibe, like it was so good, so cool, everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. Highly recommend this location. Also, I believe they have a DJ on Friday nights, so it's turning into somewhat of a lounge. Visited here on a Tuesday afternoon during happy hour. The food was really good. I got a Caesar salad and a truffle mushroom pizza along with a drink called Resort Water and that was GOOD. The salad was about $13 and the pizza was $11 for the happy hour menu. The drink was $8. The salad was really good and fresh. The pizza was flavorful but the crust could've been a little thicker for my preference. The service overall was really was good but things from the kitchen and drinks came out pretty slower than I expected. Overall I'd definitely go back and try other things on the menu. SN. The Hampton Social was only okay. We tried this place for the first time with some out of town family for dinner. They started us off with the brunch menu for our dinner reservation, which kicked things off in a confusing way. The place was deserted when we were there, with a lone singer tucked away in the corner singing acoustic covers. The cocktail list skewed tropical, but makes sense with the theme. The espresso martini was good, the old fashioned ("sand and smoke") I didn't care for. The food selection emphasizes seafood with a northeastern flare. The market pricing on the lobster roll was obscene - would steer clear of that for what you're getting. Oysters were okay, but small. My family enjoyed the salmon, but my lobster melt was only okay. Not sure we'll be returning. read more

Surf boards on the wall just the overall feel. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Food: appetizer was avocado and crab omg this appetizer was bursting with flavor and fresh. The cilantro and lime added the wow factor. The mango salsa added a nice touch. For dinner I ordered the waygu burger. The buns on this burger were so fresh. The burger itself was very good. It comes with 2 smash burgers. The truffle parm fries were also very tasty and crunchy on the outside. My spouse ordered the steak and frittes. She ordered med well but received well. But the steak was very flavorful and the chimichurri added a nice touch. This restaurant is definitely a do over. This to me was a hidden gem in an area I frequent for shopping and dining. The service was top notch and the food and drinks were top tier as well. I enjoyed the ambiance, the views on the balcony. Everything was so nice and peaceful. We went around dinner time and usually that's a busy time but our server was so attentive and the balcony was not packed as I expected. We will be back soon. Brunch, lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong having a great meal and experience here. The service is friendly and quick to suggest some favorites from the menu. Drinks are great, lobster rolls are delicious (especially the hot one) and so many more items. Everything I've had has been great. The decor is perfect upscale nautical giving you that Hampton vibe. Visited this restaurant during the grand opening weekend. The decor is super cute and gives nautical vibes. Hostess was polite and we sat in a booth with our 2 kids. The waitress was kind and made menu suggestions that didn't appear to us. We tried the spinach dip, which was just ok. It was served with veggies and tortilla chips. The cucumbers were a bit wilted and not freshly cut. The Frosé was good. read more
