This place was great. Our server William could not have been more perfect. The drinks were great and the food was plentiful and delicious. Definitely a place to return to. PS, the live music was perfect and the decor was on point.

Got the chance to visit this super cute spot for brunch when in town for the weekend! The service was really great! Shout out to our server Jordan for not only putting up with two gals yapping without looking at the menu, but also for recommending their amazing banana bread. It came out warm and moist, soo heavenly. I got the steak and cheese sandwich and it was huge! For the price, it was definitely worth it and the fries were perfectly cooked too. My mocktail with cherry and lime was refreshing and still cute despite being a cup of juice. The holiday decor was amazing! I'd love to visit during the spring and see the magic they work. I'd definitely visit again and recommend!

Shoutout to Jordan for the A+ service! Went for Sunday brunch on a whim with my bestie who was visiting from CT. Her first time to Atl, so of course, I had to show her a little bit of OTP as well. This spot has been on my list for a while now, and I finally had a good reason to go! Parking worked out nicely, but I feel like we got lucky finding a parallel parking spot just across the street. This location is in sort of a larger shopping center so there's parking around. We arrived just before Noon, and we were seated right away without any wait to a small table in the dining room to the left once you enter. It wasn't insanely crowded which was nice as it wasn't very loud at all. It's a pretty big and open space and the decorations are SO cute. I've been told they change the decor seasonally, and of course they currently have up the holiday/new years decorations. Jordan greeted us almost immediately upon getting seated, and once we let him know it was our first time in, he was quick to offer helpful suggestions and answer and questions we had about the menu. He had mentioned the banana bread, so we had to go for it and I am SO happy we did!! It was incredible and by far the best banana bread I have ever had!! It was warm, fluffy, moist, and oh so delicious. It was quite filling, so I chose to go with a soup and salad combo for my main. They have French Onion on the menu, so if you know me, I had to get it. I'd give it an 7/10. The cheese was perfection but the broth could've been a tad warmer and more flavorful. My Caesar salad was actually really good. Kind of hard to mess up, but the dressing wasn't as heavy as other places and I appreciated that. I hope to come back in the spring or summer to see the new decor and enjoy another tasty meal!

My friends and I found this restaurant on one of the Atlanta holiday restaurant lists. We went on a Sunday afternoon so it was a little busy but not too crazy; we were seated maybe 10 minutes after arriving. We had two servers so at times, it was a little confusing to determine who we should order or follow up with. Our first server took our drink orders and we had no issues. Our second server took our appetizer orders but there was a misunderstanding on his part. We ordered 4 of the same appetizer but he somehow thought we ordered one. We were confused when only one came out but he quickly fixed the issue and took the first appetizer back so it wouldn't get too cold as we waited for the others For appetizers, we ordered the crab dip. The flavor was on point and I loved the cheesy pull. I also ordered the burger and it was okay but not amazing. The fries were not good in my opinion so I didn't bother to finish them after the first two. Overall, a decent experience and I wouldn't mind going back to try dinner.

Banana nut old fashioned. Very good. Not overly sweet either.

We stumbled upon The Select and wow did it deliver! We enjoyed sitting outside on a reasonably warm evening and had fantastic service from Nicole R. The explanation of the namesake, the theme and history was great. The insight she offered on certain drinks and dishes helped us understand what we might enjoy. The crab dip was very good, the fresh baguette was delicious and the French onion soup: . We shared the short ribs and they were also outstanding. Even our leftovers, there was care involved as Nicole gave me a crouton and slice of cheese for when I ate the left over soup later at home. Will definitely be back!

Probably one of BEST brunch experiences my wife and I have ever had. The Select was OUTSTANDING! Perfect day for a patio visit, we got there around noon on a Sunday and were seated right away. The restaurant is modern and elegant inside. We saw a full bar with beautiful decor. The patio was spacious and in a very quiet neighborhood next to a park. It was buzzing with the beautifully hip. Great setting for brunch. We were greeted promptly and warmly by our server Tara. She offered several recommendations as this was our first time. I ordered a Bloody Mary which was excellent and perfectly spiced. No rim but it didn't detract. For our meals, we went with 2 of Tara's recommendations, the Short Rib Hash and the French Toast. We wanted something savory and something sweet to try and the dishes both blew us away. First the Hash was STUNNING visually and tasted amazing. The potatoes were velvety soft with perfectly cooked braised short ribs that melted in my mouth. The 2 Eggs were perfectly sunny side up and, mixed with the slightly sweet beet mustard, béarnaise and micro greens, created a flavor that was quite unique! I crushed this dish! My wife never orders French Toast anywhere. It's always a texture thing for her. But THIS French toast was mind blowing. Lovely presentation as well but the flavors of challah bread, the strawberry compote, candied almonds and mascarpone whipped cream were to die for. It didn't even need the syrup to be honest. The sweetness was perfectly balanced and decadent. There are so many things on this menu that I want to try. This was a perfect dining experience from start to finish from the service, to the atmosphere and amazing food, The Select now ranks high on my brunch recommendations in all of Atlanta. Ask for Tara!

We had a dinner reservation for a party for 2 on Monday, 6/23/25, at 7 pm. We were seated right away. Our waiter was Oumar and he was great! We split a soup and salad and we each got an entree. Here's what we got: - French Onion Soup ($15): Good! - Peach Burrata ($16): Wish the burrata had been creamier, but it was still really good. Very pretty presentation! - Miso Sea Bass ($46): Deeeeelicious, wow. - Grilled Trout Almondine ($29): Super good. The celery root puree was amazing. Highly recommend!!

This was my second visit to The Select. The first time was a few years ago when they had a holiday bar menu and it was just okay, but this recent visit was much more enjoyable and memorable. The ambiance immediately stood out. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and is divided into a restaurant side and a bar side. The bar side was definitely the hotspot the night I went with live music and these stunning floral light fixtures on the ceiling that actually open and close like blossoming flowers. The restaurant side was just as nice, a little more lowkey but still elegant. Our server Jewel was great and she was training someone as well. For appetizers, the table shared the hot crab dip, raw oysters, and duck meatballs. The crab dip was my favorite--served hot with real crab in every bite. The duck meatballs had great flavor but were a bit spicy for me. For my entrée, I ordered the short rib with a side of macaroni and cheese. The short rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender, served over mashed potatoes with vegetables, and the mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. For drinks, I took advantage of the Ladies Night menu and had a $10 gimlet which was perfectly balanced and refreshing. Overall, the food was great, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere made for a really good night out. I'll definitely be back

Glad that I called and didn't rely on the online reservation options. They fit us in for Saturday night dinner . I wanted to experience their happy hour and then move into dinner. The bar was booked for a shower but HH was honored in the adjacent dining room. Drink discounts and reduced appetizer options started our meal. Of course, we opted for oysters and house made fries. Service was a bit bumpy /slow and courses overlapped which is annoying for this level of establishment. We were getting full from the appetizers so we split the grilled trout entree. The accompanying veggies were quite minimal. I love celery root but it turned out to only be a smear on the plate. Great for happy hour but I would go somewhere else for the main meal. Too much competition in the area. The place was quite busy with lots of large parties celebrating birthdays . We walked across the street to Flower Child for dessert, their chocolate mousse is delightful! 2 hour garage parking is complimentary. The meal took so long that we surpassed that timeframe though.

For today's Sunday Brunch we celebrated my Virgo friends. We brought in our own desserts - a cake and 6 cupcakes. Our server was so cool she took them to the back to clear our table. We'll get back to that... We reviewed the menu (real menus not a QR code), then started with drinks and a shared appetizer. The Bellini, Dragonbird and the Ginger Margarita were our sips and the crab dip was for our starter. We throughly enjoyed this to start and added crudite for those not eating carbs. For our entrees we had the Chicken Chilaquiles, 3-Egg Omelette with Gruyère cheese and the Classic Breakfast. You can customize your eggs, protein and add sides. I highly recommend the chicken sausage. It seemed house made and was outstanding. At the end of the meal our server cut and served the cake. We had plenty to share with other guests and left it for the staff. The location is great for a family dinner, dates, solo dining at the bar or special occasions. I'll definitely return for the salads, try the wagyu burger and different cocktails. 10/10 highly recommend!

Enjoyed the holiday decor at the select. We started at the bar in the back which features live music starting around 8. We made a reservation and they were kind enough to put us in the back room so we could be near the festivities. The bar can be a pain since there are no reservations, only two bar tenders, and lots going on but hey it's festive.

Came here for a holiday dinner with some friends after hearing rave reviews. The place is cozy and beautiful. They have a holiday bar going right now and it is separate from the main dining room. We got there while happy hour was still going so we got a dozen oysters half off ($18 maybe?). The oysters were fresh and came with all the toppings including hot sauce since we're in the south! We also had the hot blue crab dip was really rich and flavorful and perfect on a cold winter night. I had the miso sea bass which was perfectly tender and fell apart into layers with just a gentle touch of my fork. The apple tart was prob the only thing that didn't feel special. It was good, and the caramel ice cream that came with it was probably the best part. Will def be back!

Definitely a place to be seen and eat well. There's a parking garage but it was full when we got there, so we did valet, which was surprisingly affordable. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, we got: Aguachile de Pescado, which was insane. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. I had seen pictures of it before I came and it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender. They bring blue corn tortillas and suggest making a taco with the marrow, steak, and avocado. It's great that way. But honestly, the marrow and steak stand perfectly on their own. Whole experience was excellent. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city now.

We had someone in our party with a gluten allergy, and our sweet server was doing his absolute best, bless. We were steered away from the tostadas as a starter due to gluten concerns, so we pivoted to guac...which then arrived with a gluten-free tostada. So the tostadas would have been totally fine! Then a good while after we'd all ordered, she was told her entrée had gluten and needed to be changed. She reordered, and almost immediately, the rest of the table's food came out. So we were left choosing between eating without her or letting everything go cold. And the plantains she'd reordered around, because she'd been told they couldn't be made gluten-free? Turns out they absolutely can be. Just miss after miss there. The spicy margarita was more of a margarita that once passed a jalapeño on the street. I asked for extra jalapeño juice and they were happy to help, but without the seeds and ribs it just couldn't deliver on the heat. I'd skip the margs next visit. This just wasn't quite the relaxed easy dinner we'd hoped for, and the price point feels like it's a step ahead of where the experience currently lands. But I'm rooting for them to get there!

I came here on a work trip so there was a LOT going on: food buffets, bar mania, games of all sorts. Had I come here with a group of friends to play games and sip on a drink I think I would have had a different (read: better) experience. That said, I appreciate that B&B exists and what it's trying to do. Despite being here as part of a big group, the staff was perfectly lovely and patient. That's not always the case when it comes to dealing with large groups. The food menu is confusingly large and caters to about every taste.* I got a little grossed out at the thought of eating around so much dust. Board games and consoles are dirty/dusty. They show both easily. Eating around/in that didn't appeal to me. What *did* appeal to me, though, was the thought of drinking a potion. From the glass (straight up D&D) to the color (blue), I was all in. The Mana Potion had a lot of the right elements (gin, blue curacao, elderflower liqueur, lemon, and Sprite) but the extra zhuzh for our party was team too much. The edible glitter made the drink a bit thick and didn't do wonders for my stomach. It's a tough criticism because I was here for an extra sparkly drink/potion. Definitely on brand. For me, Battle & Brew is an odd space that could benefit from some editing. But, it looks like I am in the minority. I can agree with not being the target audience. So, gamers, have at it! *I didn't experience much in the way of GF/DF/VG options but, again, target audience.

I was truly excited to try this place because it is such a cool concept. Went yesterday for dinner…read morewith my husband, daughter, and my friend and her daughter. We opted for the board games for $7 so that we could play together at the table while we ate, which is a great idea in theory but the execution left a lot to be desired. Most of the games we tried to play were old, dirty (yuck), and incomplete. For example, we were unable to play Guess Who because both the red and blue lineups were missing people and many of the people cards were torn into pieces. We were able to play What Do You Meme, but it was obvious that most of the meme cards were missing, so we had to stop abruptly when we ran out of new cards. Since people are eating and playing, effort should be made to keep the games clean, or at the very least, provide hand sanitizer at each table so that guests aren't grossed out about handling dirty game pieces in between grabbing bites of their sandwich or other finger food. I just feel like even though $7 for board game play is reasonable, it felt far less justifiable after experiencing the issues I just explained. If you are going to charge people any amount to use the games, ensuring that those games are complete and sanitary seems like a reasonable expectation. Service was okay but most of the food did not even meet the okay standard. We started with mozerrela sticks, which were okay. The fries with all our meals were obviously the frozen bagged kind you can find at any grocery store. They added seasoning but it's not enough to hide the fact that you are eating frozen fries at a sit down restaurant. My husband ordered the Don't Call It Hotlanta chicken sandwich and I think that was probably the best tasting thing we all ordered. I ordered the ATLA with cheese and did not like it very much. The bread was too crispy, the cheese was cold, and the overall flavor just didn't do it for me. My daughter ordered the mac and cheese with a side of fries. It does say on the menu that it is Kraft mac and cheese. She didn't complain, but she's 12 and not too picky so no surprise there. I had a soda water, my daughter had a sprite, and my husband had two mixed drinks (I think margaritas). Our total bill including the $7 for a crappy board game experience came out to $94 before tip. It was not worth it and I would never return for dinner nor can I recommend that others consider this a worthy dinner spot. Nevertheless, it would be a cool spot to come to with a big group of friends to play the computer and video games while enjoying a few drinks and maybe an appetizer or two. I could see that being a fun experience and would be open to returning to play the video games with friends or maybe one of their event nights like trivia that sounds like a good time, but I won't come back specifically for dinner because there are far better place to get a far superior meal for that price around here. So, at the end of the day, two stars is my review for the dinner and board game experience, but it would probably be closer to a 4 for just video games and drinks or events because I don't think there is anything else like it around here. I am not 100% on pricing for the video games but I think I saw something like $20 per hour, which I think might be a little pricey. However, I am not a big gamer myself so I may not be the best judge of that.

Service service service…read more Can I say more? Our server at the bar was Andreas was outstanding. He was personable, customer oriented and able to handle a large volume of customers with ease. We found ourselves at the Agave Bandido to attend a birthday gathering in the secret speakeasy (located upstairs) but initially dined downstairs. We ordered street corn and steak nachos. Both were excellent and served piping hot. The steak nachos were by far my favorite. Lots of toppings and the steak was tender. The order is so large three of us were able to share them with some left over. The street corn is served on the cob and was flavorful and served with a side of lime I will add my review of Maya Speak Tisi on a separate posting

They have an "88 Health Score", but none of their violations is "Standard not met: Insects,…read morerodents, and animals NOT present", so I can live with that. I was a little late on the introductions, so I missed the names of our server and the hostess, but BOTH were awesome!! The food was excellent (The guacamole was made fresh at the table, to our specifications - You can't beat that, right!!??), with a nice ambiance and their prices are sufferable. They have multiple "FREE" parking decks available for the area's establishments, so in comparison to downtown or Midtown, that's absolutely a plus!! Agave Bandido deserves some additional decimal points, to push them up closer to a "5", but since that's not an option, a "4-star" review it is...I'd absolutely make a return visit or 2!!

They set up multiple bars for bigger events so you don't have to wait on line for long, and they typically already include tax and gratuity automatically. They've switched to valet parking only, or at least for the event I went to. It was $15 but they say you can park for free at the Walmart down the road.

I opted to park at the Wal-Mart and wasn't as familiar with the trail so I took the street route. Well-light and populated for safe crossing. The venue is very open and was relatively empty since we arrived shortly after it opened. I love the indoor seating concept with plenty of couches, movable chairs, tables near the open-area space and smaller sections for 2-4 people tucked away along the wall. The DJ was already doing his thing and the bartenders remained busy. As someone who wasn't interested in the drinks, I appreciate that there was a self-serve water cooler in the center of the room. The Jenga and jumbo Uno cards were a hit!!!! It was so nice to have these options available. And as others mentioned, the large screen was playing a classic movie - which we could still see from inside. I didn't stay long and this was a Sunday night but the parking lot was much busier when I left. I imagine the outdoor space gets crowded later in the evening as well. The DJ was just okay - not my cup of tea - but folks seemed to be enjoying themselves. I can definitely see why this place is popular. Although parking is less than desirable, it is not unreasonable. The venue is well-lit and easy to move around. The crowd was diverse, with various ages and backgrounds represented. And depending on the DJ, this would be a great place for meeting with friends, date night or just zoning out to some wonderful music ... especially on a beautiful night. If you're in the mood for something different AND don't mind the trek to Chamblee, check it out.
