Was here as part of a Birthday party for a friend. The food was alright, I purchased the Shrimp Boil and every bit of it was WAY over salted and Garlic laden. I also ordered 3 drinks and was pleased by the drinks, but the price was absurd. As for the atmosphere, I would have declined the birthday party and gone elsewhere had I known it was going to be this loud and intrusive. If you are here for a nice quiet meal, then you have found your way to the wrong place. The server was very good though. Kept up with food and drink adequately. The food here was really good, and they have a great menu. I'm not quite sure the reviews don't reflect that. I thought the bartenders did a great job every time I went up to order food or drinks. They were always so busy but handled it all really well. We had chips and queso, kids popcorn shrimp, Cobb salad, and peel and eat shrimp. The peel and eat shrimp were really good. (Much better than Joes Crab Shack down the way). And we didn't get any but the chicken tenders looked really good. I also had a frozen margarita that was delicious. The only positive about this place is that the food comes out fast. But it comes out fast because it's terrible. Shrimp po boy has no sauce and two semi-melted pieces of American plastic cheese on top. Shrimp and grits is terrible-not sure who made the grits but they're bad. Snapper was over cooked. Salad was passable, but 13 bucks for a house salad that doesn't even have cheese. This place is also super loud and even with a reservation you have to wait in a line that stretches outside. This is the most blatant tourist trap I have ever been too. At least the server was friendly. Avoid at all costs. The Caesar salad was delicious but the side of mac & cheese was not worth the six bucks but was edible. This has been a favorite spot since they opened. Tonight fell short! We tried the new crab dip. It is served cold. The manager came by and asked how everything was. I asked if the crab dip was always served cold and she said that we could take it home and heat it up as they had no way to do that. (Makes me wonder how the artichoke dip is served) The table in front of us complained to their waitress and was offered something else to replace it. This really rubbed me the wrong way.
