Totally worth a try. The view over the water is great and pretty at sunset. It's not the inlet, but the water inside of Barefoot Landing. Our waitress was friendly and our food and drinks came out super quick. It was pretty dead and an early dinner time, so that probably helped. My family loved everything they got which included the wings, chicken sandwiches (both kinds), and a shrimp po'boy. I tried some of each and it was all flavorful and big portions. They also have plenty of drink options and beers on tap. The inside definitely has a sports bar atmosphere, so it would be good for any games. If you're looking for a super casual, laid back vibe and wanting a good dinner, I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Stopped in for a beer a couple times while in the area. The place has plenty of seating and plenty of beer options. There are TVs to watch sports and the service is good. There is plenty of parking in the area. I didn't try anything but a beer so hard to gauge how anything else is. They do have some outside seating. We religiously visit this place when we are in town. We love the atmosphere. Looking for gators is our favorite part. The cheeseburgers are really good especially the jalapeño chili burger! Three of us stopped in here for lunch. Beer was cold and had several choices. My wife and I ordered burgers. They were good burgers and both got the loaded tots with our meals. They were very pretty good. The service was outstanding and would be one of the reasons for us to return. The food was average, but wouldn't keep us away. Big issue here is the volume. We only came in for beers. It's off season and it's packed for a hockey game. It's been really fun watching the game with the hockey fans here. What is special about Bully's is their beer choices. They had 4 sour beers and they truly are the best sour bears I've tasted. This is a great sports bar that is loud but it's because they respect their fan base wanting to watch the USA v Canada hockey game. I'd come back for sure to try more beers. read more

Over 30 different beers on tap and pretty decent prices for a serious tourist spot. Blue Moon pints were like 4 or 5 bucks! Indoor and outdoor seating, but it's very busy here most of the time, even in the off-season simply because it's at Barefoot Landing. Last time in you could barely get a seat, and this was in late March; they only had 2 waitresses working. These poor women were absolutely slammed! They did a great job, but obviously, we patrons had to wait a while to be served, get refills etc. There's a long bar with maybe 15 to 20 seats, but good luck finding a spot there. Tv's everywhere, booths and table top seating as well. Wifi is strong and free, just like 'merica! We got the Philly cheese steak with onion rings for 12 bucks and it was really good. We would definitely get both again. This is a good pregame spot for beers and grub prior to hitting up House of Blues or Carolina Opry House, which are about a 10 min walk away. read more

I can't fully explain why we enjoy this place so much? Maybe it is the alligators? We only really ever sit on the patio, we were there once during a storm and was lucky enough to be away from the wind. They have a rotating beer menu and an interesting mixed drink menu. We have eaten snacks and a meal once but mostly it is our favorite place to quietly sit and enjoy the evening. The inside area is always very loud as is typical of many bars, but outside at least for us is quiet and peaceful. You can always count on seeing numerous turtles and YES an alligator makes it's rounds looking for food....hopefully not the people variety. The cost is basically the middle of the other places we went to. Am not really sure how to describe the place? Rustic? yes but not dirty. I would recommend it as, not out of the way as it is in Barefoot Landing. Simply enjoy the setting. We have frequented this place each time IN Myrtle.....food is 'pretty good', comparing to other bar/pubs we always sit in the back on their patio. Be Aware on days, evenings with football it can be VERY loud. Mo so than we enjoy so if no place on the patio we will leave. A BIG plus is it stays open and the kitchen is also open late. This place sucks. Terrible and slow service. We watched another party come in after us and get a different server and they left well before us. We waited close to an HOUR for our food. The server we had was just not all there and was awful. The food was low end and bad quality. Everyone was disappointed that we came here instead of waiting to go to Dicks Last Resort. We would have had a better time going there, wearing a paper hat and getting verbally abused than coming here. We walked in and we're able to sit down immediately. We were greeted immediately and it was nice and cool on a blazing hot Summer day! Our waitress was amazing and super friendly and attentive. The food was very reasonably priced and the portions were plentiful. I opted for the turkey melt on rye with onion rings. I couldn't finish it. We sat outside and it was fabulous weather and were able to see numerous turtles. The food was ok, the burgers were overdone, with no seasoning on the meat and very short on toppings. I had the bacon bbq burger and you could tell the bacon was the super thin precooked kind and I could barely taste any bbq sauce. When we travel, we love trying out local craft brews, so Bully's was very appealing, since they had an expansive local tap list, at already decent prices, plus $1 off during Happy Hour. Bonus ambiance-wise it was located right on the water, ideal for a nice stroll before and after. But overall, this beer tour pit stop was just okay. Service wasn't very welcoming- the waitress was nice about letting me try samples before committing to a brew but the process took a while. While drinking we ordered the soft pretzels w.cheese- the pretzels were a bit small for the price and blan on taste (not very warm)-not a very filling appetizer, would definitely skip next time. The onion rings are hand-battered - delicious. It's so hard to find a good onion ring; let alone one that is hand bartered and fried. Get them! Don't choose the fries over the rings; they are forgettable. My daughter got the boneless wings - I don't know why....she never eats boneless but said they were good. I don't know; I didn't try them.
