Our first sentiments were that we didn't feel welcomed. We had a group of four (all of us business aged 45-50) and we kept getting asked to move by staff several times. All while not feeling like they were being helpful at all. It just felt childish and I was even second-guessing going in. Three different staff members asked to see our tickets. Rules were repeated to us a total of three times. Now for the haunt - it was stifling hot inside the building through the whole maze / so much that I was getting dizzy and my friends couldn't wait for it to be over just to get back into a breeze.. The sets were detailed but it was a lot of similar themes going on in many of the rooms - it lacked some imagination in favor of just medical gore scenes. There was fog in areas that were too heavy to even enjoy what was coming at us - and that fog landed in many rooms. The end of the maze that leads into the retail exit was abrupt - there was no grand finale moment. Overall, not much stood out as very interesting or outstanding. (Exception: the subway cars) Go if you are a huge fan of haunts and Halloween. But if you only go to one haunt each year, this isn't the one.

Terror Mansion is primarily a commercial haunted house and if you don't find it scary, you may need to verify that you have a pulse. Multiple rooms (their Web site says 23, but I honestly wasn't counting) keep you on edge the whole time. There's no rise and fall in intensity -- it's intense from beginning to end. Winding, confusing and noisy...it messes with your senses in nearly every possible way. But that's not my forte. Even the best commercial haunted houses aren't for me (even though I do subject myself to them every now and then). The best part of Terror Mansion is the "After Hours Ghost Tour." When she bought it, the owner did not know the building was truly haunted. It was only after multiple, strange occurrences that she started to investigate the history of the building and the area. I won't spoil the fun, but there are quite a few stories and photos that just couldn't be coincidences. Full body apparitions and phantom phone calls are just the beginning. Go for the thrills, but stay for the chills. You won't be disappointed.

All of the actors looked like teenagers in their street clothes with some rubber masks on. They came up to you and literally just said, "boo." My boyfriend and I were just walking through rather than running and screaming because that is how NOT scary, suspenseful, creepy, it was. At one point, my boyfriend and I are trying to find the exit and I ask him how we get out to which one of the actors walks up and says in a regular, cheerful, non-scary voice, "oh, just walk down the hall and to the left." I have been to countless other haunted houses, House of Torment being my favorite and maybe that is why I found Terror Mansion to be so disappointing but this place was on par with your high school haunted house. The actors did not stay in character, the production was cheap, and the whole experience lasted maybe 5 minutes. It should have cost no more than 5$ for what you get. If you are a parent and you want to take your child to a haunted house that will not leave them terrified then this may be for you. If you like to be scared and want to have a genuinely creepy time and get your money's worth, then DO NOT go to Terror Mansion. For a little more money you can go to House of Torment or the 13th Floor in San Antonio and get a real scare.

Atmosphere was nice . Parking was good. Easy to find. This is more of a beginner/ kids kinda haunted hayride. There is a story teller in the hayride which is nice and interactive for the audience in the tractor. Wish that they had a little more scary like chainsaw noise, light up the dead bodies with a red or colored light to set the mood to make it more visible and creepy. Just needs a little more tweaking but it is still fun and entertaining for a one time event.

My boo and I (no pun intended), freaked out from the ghastly cost of $70 for two people. The whole maze or psycho asylum house was a quick 20 minute run through that featured almost the same things in each areas. Nothing different, and a whole lot of darkness. It was fun but not worth the cost since it didn't offer enough scares to make it worthwhile.

We arrived a bit before 7:30, the opening time, so we were some of the first people in line. Nevertheless, it seemed to take forever for us to be shown in because they did not start letting people in until a bit after 7:30 and they were pretty slow letting people in after that. Unlike other haunted houses that I have been to, there were no characters or actors creeping around outside to spook you, so it was a pretty long and boring wait. Before we made it in, I read up on the history of the building itself, since it really was an asylum back in the 70s/80s, and honestly the history is the scariest part of the building because some pretty creepy stuff happened there. When we were about to go inside, we learned that it was a "total blackout" night, meaning that all the lights would be turned off. We were handed glow sticks so that we could find our way through (really probably so the actors inside could see us coming). We finally go inside and I am feeling pretty spooked from the anticipation. The first couple of rooms are elaborately decorated, but really nothing is too scary. As we walked through the entire house, it was sometimes hard to see the decorations themselves since the lights were off, so that may have taken away from the experience. There were only 4 or 5 actors hidden throughout the duration of the haunted house and they did the classic surprise scare tactic, but didn't really say or do anything that was too scary. The actors, however, were mostly just regular people in regular clothes with some face paint. I was honestly expecting them to wear costumes and have more of a character than just general scary person. There were some features inside that I had not experienced in other haunted houses, like the blow up walls and the big loud gusts and wind. Overall, I got a little spooked and I had a fun time, but it would probably not have been worth it. I'm not sad I went, but I wouldnt want to pay full price and I don't think I would go back.

Oct 28 is Emma's Birthday... so Magnolia Hotel decided to open the doors to celebrate! Free tours…read morefrom 10am-2pm! I just happened to see something come through my newsfeed over Fb, I bookmarked it, found my schedule open, so headed east to check it out. Emma likes to play in her room... and who doesn't like to play with little spirits?! I didn't know the history of the Magnolia Hotel so was totally clueless walking in the door... Magnolia Hotel has been on Ghost Adventures on Travel Channel. Also, Magnolia Hotel is ~not~ a hotel, it is now a personal residence. To my delight, I was able to hear stories of the old hotel, tales of it's past residents many of which have never left, and how Magnolia Hotel was discovered by the owners. Jim & Erin saved the Magnolia from being demolished... they single handedly have saved a part of Seguin history!... and some haunted history at that! I spent about two hours just hanging out, looking around, and people watching... talked to some interesting people, listening to questions and answers... all very interesting. Did I have an experience? I had something creepy go up the back of my left neck and skull as I was talking to a ghost hunter in the original dining area where the owner was sitting. I also felt some weird things around the house... but something I brushed off at first until I started listening to others talk about it... when you first come up the stairs, it feels really heavy. I originally brushed it off as I just walked up the stairs... but no, go back and you feel it... and everyone was feeling it!!! Emma was playing in her room. One of the guides said just a few minutes earlier, a little girl got scratched. Then someone told her that they saw the door knob in the pink bathroom turn back and forth. The owner, Erin, said this house is more active during the day than at night. Wow! The owners Jim & Erin host a ghost tour in their home on occasion, which books up months in advance. The tour last about 2 hours with in-depth stories which might also include a spiritual reading from the Erin at the end (but only if deceased wish to come forward). Erin has written Haunted New Braunfels, Haunted Seguin, and soon to be released Haunted Magnolia House. All proceeds go towards restoring the Magnolia Hotel. I can not wait to go on their ghost tour!

We paid extra for the VIP / fast lane. Did not know we had to pay an extra $14 a person to attend the water park. All that money to not realize it was not included.. the fats pass lanes were pretty quick. Staff were friendly! Food is mediocre. Very pricey but it's expected with a theme park. The food areas in the waterpark areas were severely under staffed at one point only had two cashiers. For a day like 4th of July where both parks were at capacity by 3pm they should've planned more accordingly. We really enjoyed exploring and the size of the park. It seemed to be a lot more spread out than the one in California. Also seemed to have room to grow. We wish all ride lines had shade and were interactive like the Joker ride. Stayed to watch all 3 of the Star Spangled Nights, loved the shows especially the Grand Finale We will be back! Definitely worth visiting during a holiday but get there early and pro tip park in the back to leave lot sooner if staying until closing..

The absolute worst customer service experience! From the website to the staff at the park, the…read moreentire process was frustrating. We purchased our tickets online to attend the July 4th celebration, but nowhere on the website did it mention that viewing the fireworks required an additional $17 admission. It also failed to mention that the fireworks wouldn't begin until 11:00 p.m. When we tried to get answers, no one seemed to have accurate information. Employees directed us to Customer Service, while Customer Service referred us back to employees. Unfortunately, no one was able to provide clear details, leaving many guests confused and frustrated. The experience was made even more frustrating because supervisors blamed the marketing department instead of taking ownership or providing solutions. It was clear they had very little knowledge of the actual park experience, event details, or what guests had been promised. Rather than helping resolve concerns, they shifted responsibility, leaving customers feeling ignored and unsupported. Guests shouldn't have to navigate conflicting information or excuses when they simply want accurate answers and good customer service. What made the situation even more disappointing was seeing so many people turned away. In previous years, guests were able to walk in and enjoy the fireworks, but this year's additional charge caught many by surprise and resulted in a lot of unhappy customers. The one bright spot was the fireworks themselves. The 360-degree view from inside the park was absolutely spectacular and made for an incredible show. While the fireworks were well worth seeing, the lack of communication and poor customer service significantly took away from what should have been a memorable Fourth of July experience. #SixFlagsFiestaTexas #MySixFlags
