This place was awesome! Great costumes, decorations and special affects. Price for general admission was about $35.... I thought that was very expensive for the experience. I would NOT advise anyone to the extra entrance charges, i don't think the experience is worth it. This place is perfect for family's, kids, date night etc.... Nothing too scary but definitely FUN, great experience and lots of laughs. They have paid parking outside the building for about $15 (you can pay by phone or with cash) They also serve drinks before you go inside but you have to finish before you go inside the haunted house.

Haunted house, escape room, and axe throwing!

Went here and tried the escape room and it was a first for me, fun and interesting as well as entertaining. Mac and Regan were great hosts and zombies. We tried the zombie escape room and I'd have to say it was pretty difficult, it was kinda dark so reading the clues was a little challenging not to mention the zombie chasing us. Pretty fun but the clues seemed disorganized and I feel without a bit of assistance I would have not made it as far as we did. The parking outback was ridiculously expensive so I'd try to find different parking if possible. The hosts and staff were great though!

Me and a couple of family member went to the 13th floor a couple of nights ago. It was Columbus Day and it was very busy. We had our reservation time for 730 and arrive at 700. We waiting on line for about 30 mins. But it was actually fun. Lots of people, loud electronics music blasting over the sound system and a few 13th floor characters roaming the lines taking photos and just being creepy... It actually got us all more in the mood for the 13th floor. So I have been to the 13th floor before last year. This year it far exceeded my expectations!!! It seems the haunted house is all but redone from last year. New props, new scares and lots of fun!!! We had a blast!! It took about 20 to 25 mins to travel through the 3 floor maze. My one major tip is be on the look out for pre sale Tix. The average online price is upwards of 25 bucks... Via pre sale we got Tix for 14 bucks..... great job 13th floor. We had a great time....

Line was only about 30 minutes moved pretty fast. Actors were great better than any other haunted houses in San Antonio especially the mall one which was weak with only 3 actors. Vibe and Scare are worth it. Parking is expensive at $30 so might want to park elsewhere and walk there. Axe throwing after is worth it for the price especially if you've never done it before. I highly recommend and would do it again.

About a 20 minute wait when the line looks like this. Not too bad.

My boo and I (no pun intended), freaked out from the ghastly cost of $70 for two people. The whole maze or psycho asylum house was a quick 20 minute run through that featured almost the same things in each areas. Nothing different, and a whole lot of darkness. It was fun but not worth the cost since it didn't offer enough scares to make it worthwhile.

We saw a deal for this haunted house on groupon and the price was right so we decided to check it…read moreout. We arrived a bit before 7:30, the opening time, so we were some of the first people in line. Nevertheless, it seemed to take forever for us to be shown in because they did not start letting people in until a bit after 7:30 and they were pretty slow letting people in after that. Unlike other haunted houses that I have been to, there were no characters or actors creeping around outside to spook you, so it was a pretty long and boring wait. Before we made it in, I read up on the history of the building itself, since it really was an asylum back in the 70s/80s, and honestly the history is the scariest part of the building because some pretty creepy stuff happened there. When we were about to go inside, we learned that it was a "total blackout" night, meaning that all the lights would be turned off. We were handed glow sticks so that we could find our way through (really probably so the actors inside could see us coming). We finally go inside and I am feeling pretty spooked from the anticipation. The first couple of rooms are elaborately decorated, but really nothing is too scary. As we walked through the entire house, it was sometimes hard to see the decorations themselves since the lights were off, so that may have taken away from the experience. There were only 4 or 5 actors hidden throughout the duration of the haunted house and they did the classic surprise scare tactic, but didn't really say or do anything that was too scary. The actors, however, were mostly just regular people in regular clothes with some face paint. I was honestly expecting them to wear costumes and have more of a character than just general scary person. There were some features inside that I had not experienced in other haunted houses, like the blow up walls and the big loud gusts and wind. Overall, I got a little spooked and I had a fun time, but it would probably not have been worth it. I'm not sad I went, but I wouldnt want to pay full price and I don't think I would go back.

Terror Mansion is primarily a commercial haunted house and if you don't find it scary, you may need to verify that you have a pulse. Multiple rooms (their Web site says 23, but I honestly wasn't counting) keep you on edge the whole time. There's no rise and fall in intensity -- it's intense from beginning to end. Winding, confusing and noisy...it messes with your senses in nearly every possible way. But that's not my forte. Even the best commercial haunted houses aren't for me (even though I do subject myself to them every now and then). The best part of Terror Mansion is the "After Hours Ghost Tour." When she bought it, the owner did not know the building was truly haunted. It was only after multiple, strange occurrences that she started to investigate the history of the building and the area. I won't spoil the fun, but there are quite a few stories and photos that just couldn't be coincidences. Full body apparitions and phantom phone calls are just the beginning. Go for the thrills, but stay for the chills. You won't be disappointed.

I was new to San Antonio at the time and did not know any better. After driving around for some time because the place was so hard to find, we get to the mansion and wait in line for about 30 minutes or so. The building itself looked like a regular building with little to no decorations to make it look creepy or haunted. Once inside, I was immediately disappointed. All of the actors looked like teenagers in their street clothes with some rubber masks on. They came up to you and literally just said, "boo." My boyfriend and I were just walking through rather than running and screaming because that is how NOT scary, suspenseful, creepy, it was. At one point, my boyfriend and I are trying to find the exit and I ask him how we get out to which one of the actors walks up and says in a regular, cheerful, non-scary voice, "oh, just walk down the hall and to the left." I have been to countless other haunted houses, House of Torment being my favorite and maybe that is why I found Terror Mansion to be so disappointing but this place was on par with your high school haunted house. The actors did not stay in character, the production was cheap, and the whole experience lasted maybe 5 minutes. It should have cost no more than 5$ for what you get. If you are a parent and you want to take your child to a haunted house that will not leave them terrified then this may be for you. If you like to be scared and want to have a genuinely creepy time and get your money's worth, then DO NOT go to Terror Mansion. For a little more money you can go to House of Torment or the 13th Floor in San Antonio and get a real scare.

I of course read a handful of reviews that gave me the push & I am so glad I did. This will definitely be somewhere I go again next year. I love getting scared & used to frequent halloween horror nights, so I can say with confidence all of the houses were scary! You can tell effort & thought was put into each house, plus a sufficient amount of actors in each one that what made it so fun! I was impressed with the level of professionalism each ticket attendant had, with a smile on their face. Rather than having us enter with multiple parties in line, it was done individually so allows to have a more tailored experience w.o it being ruined in front of you & having people up your butt behind rushing you (that drives me crazy & is so insanely rude). With that said, the line does go much slower, so I ended up adding on the fast pass right there at the kiosk, which was well worth it. I was alone so the first house I was getting bored waiting lol. Parking was easy, & even though it was off the beaten path, didn't feel sketchy driving there at night. Even the porta potties were clean & maintained. One thing I would ask to improve is adding tables to sit. Can't wait to go back!

But $17.99 for a single slice of pepperoni pizza is just insulting. Lucky they allow you to run to your car and re-enter and therefore you can bring a sandwich in a cooler (for lunch/dinner). Or hit 7-eleven on the way in like I did. The coasters are world class. I recommend the following rides: Scream, wonder woman, Superman, Batman, Joker, Gully Washer, Iron Rattler, Road Runner Express, Dr Diabolical, Poltergeist, and Chupacabra. I had no wait over 10 minutes for any ride all day on the Monday of Fourth Of July week with the exception of Gully Washer which was about 40 minute wait and worth it to get soaked on a really hot day!! Most of the rides I just walked right on up to the ride and jumped on. Also I don't understand...why does EVERY ride have cubby holes to leave your cup/bag while on the ride, except for Gully Washer where your stuff will get all wet? Thank God I had ziplock bags for my stuff that couldn't get water on it. BTW....Negative points for not making it clear that it costs an extra $10 to go to the water park if you got a day pass. Like you're not already spending enough money...sheesh. The kids running the rides are mostly very enthusiast and a great face for the company. The girl at the gate of Scream was really excited to explain the technology behind the 250 ft drop ride since she was an engineering student. But on the flip side the staff in the drink and food stands seemed less than thrilled to be working at the park.

Paying…read more$40 to Park uncovered somewhere you are going to go in and spend loads of money is insulting, and an absolutely bizarre price to charge your customers. We are here for my son's birthday, mid June, so you would think everything would be on point! We got here and noticed immediately that the Batman was down. The boys opted for wonder woman, waited in line for about 30 minutes before the ride broke down and they did not get a chance to ride. This repeated itself multiple times throughout our visit: we would wait in line, in the heat for an unfathomable amount of time, just to be told the ride was no longer working and to go find something else. A water tube ride, the Pandemonium, and another that I didn't catch the name of. It also seems that there are multiple attractions that are simply not open, and like I said, we are here in June, not the off-season. Another thing to note is that there is absolutely no shade in the water anywhere you can swim. A woman in the wave pool was trying to protect herself from the summer sun with an umbrella, and was told she could not have her umbrella. As someone in Texas who has already had skin cancer myself, this is really not acceptable. We got the boys baskets of french fries, as the only other option at the food place we went in the waterpark was $20 chicken strips (they were out of $20 hamburgers) and the servings were so sad. There was clearly a deceased animal somewhere by the walkway at the waterpark we could smell every time we passed by. And as soon as it hit 5 o'clock, the GNATS!! oh my God, they were just everywhere. We came prepared to spend money today, with 5 of us; I'm not trying to be cheap. But for the amount of money everything costs, the experience just does not match up. If we wanted the main experience to be a wave pool, we could have done that much cheaper elsewhere. This was my son's birthday and I wanted so badly for everyone to have a great time, but this fell so short.
