We came out to see a band we like (killin time) on a Saturday afternoon. Tons of seating in shade or sun. Reasonable drink prices. Bartender was up beat, nice and prompt. There's a very swampy dirty pool there which is kind of a turn off. It's roped off but an ugly eye sore. There's volleyball courts people were playing at. It's a huge place. Room to dance in front of the entertainment. We shared a nacho platter- plenty for 4 people with really good chunks of chicken on top. read more

Worst experience of my entire life, paid $35 to see a certain DJ perform and when we got to the door, they told us they were not coming "due to flight cancellations" and only refunded us $10. We later we got confirmation from the DJ we were supposed to see that there was no flight to even be canceled. The show wasn't happening to begin with because Headliner didn't sell enough tickets for them to even come and perform (shocker because the place is a dump!) The guy at the front gave us free drink tickets to make up for this that could be used "for any drinks". We went to the bar and ordered drinks and when going to pay with the ticket, the bartender was so beyond nasty to us because the drink tickets were "not valid". These were probably the worst mixed drinks I've ever had in my entire life as they tasted like straight rubbing alcohol topped with limes, and she wouldn't remake them because they were "already poured". The crowd this place attracted was not good and the place itself was dirty smelling like BO. I would never recommend this place to anyone in 1 million years, if you wanna go out down the Jersey shore hit up osprey, djais, leggetts, jenks, or honestly any other establishment because I promise you, you will not enjoy yourself at the headliner. read more

Used to work here, back in the day. Apparently, things have gone downhill. We were DOORMEN and FLOORMEN. The thugs that came there wanting to be bouncers, we got rid of. We had mostly professional people working there; teachers, coaches, bank secretaries. My partner was the head of the Physics Dept in a local high school, and I investigated delinquent mortgages for two mortgage companies. No one came to work looking to rough people up, and for sure, no one stuck their elbows in any woman's eye. It really hurts me to read these reviews of what used to be a terrific place to spend the evening. read more

We were a big table of 10 all from out of town (I'm from England) when we got there the security people couldn't have been more helpful, or the man that took us to our table. But then, we tried to split cheques for food and that was a problem, however our waitress tried to help us sort that out and we were good. The pool is relatively small, but enough to play games. We had a lot of fun and were able to enjoy our friend's birthday celebrations, everyone was really attentive. The thing that really ruined it for us was that there was a photographer for the venue that made a comment saying "I can't get the shots that I want because there are fat ass bitches in the way" it was disrespectful and had a huge impact on the majority of our party. We were really offended and would have spent much more money however after that comment we felt very uncomfortable and decided to leave. It was a real let down to what could have been a great visit. This is one of the places that we picked after coming to New Jersey and we regret it. The security was very rude. When he checked our id, he broke an id and couldn't apologize for the life of him. He was really rude and disrespectful. When we went inside to ask for assistance to see if they could help us get someone to get money for the id that he broke and for the disrespect we received. To no luck the the manager had no clue what to do, like his job wasn't to manage his employees and manage his business. The manager literally asked us what do we want him to do when he acting like he's not the one that was trained to deal with these situations. We left that place cause we couldn't come to a solution. If anyone want to try this place I wouldn't recommend this place. They don't seem to take accountability for there action and I would recommend anywhere else. First time hitting a Jersey Shore nightclub. The club is a bit small on the inside, compared to what I'm used to in nightclub sizing. The ceilings are super low which makes it hard for things like floaties (which we're going around the club that night) to get passed around. Since the ceilings are low, so are the light fixtures. Things that are actually really good about this club: first, there is an abundance of bars. They have 5 bars inside. I didn't visit the outdoor area so I'm not sure how many they have outside. I did see that there are volleyball courts outside along with a stage for the DJ performing for the night outside though. Second, there's not a strict dress code for the club so it's easy to pick something to wear. I wore cargo shorts, a t shirt, vans, and a SnapBack which is not usual Friday night attire for a nightclub, but I got in no problem and found others wearing things similar. The indoor DJ booth is a bit small, but it makes for a pretty cool experience because you can actually see the DJ. Overall, good experience here. I'd come back to kill a Friday night. read more

We all deserve to have fun, and they were just a nice and the men knew the importance of buying shots for the cute younger girls next to them. Now this was the outside area which has multiple bar area, food, large pool. Inside the bar area was a full soul band singing r&b. They were pretty awesome. Not sure if the night club was open yet, but we were pretty entertained. If you want a seat at the bar you want to come earlier. We go in before 5pm on a Friday. There's a hype man on a mic in the main outside bar asking questions for giveaways. Plenty of food to choose from from salads to pizza and wings. This place probably has a little something for almost everyone depending the night. read more

Ugh, ugh and UGH! Came here Memorial Day. (Sunday night into Monday) With this notion and knowledge alone, right off the bat, it was bad idea, but whatever. Made the best of it, while trying to just chill in the area of one of the bars, or else I felt I would drown in the immense, drunken and rude crowd - elbowed and stepped on, pushed and shoved - LOVELY! I have to say we did have SUCH A GREAT and SUPER NICE bartender (whose name I forgot) She took care of us all night since we stayed in that one particular spot (and so did we tip-wise, at the end of ours.) Nothing special about the drinks though other than they were cheap - bottom-shelf liquor, I AM SURE! (Our bartender though is by the way the reason I am giving this place one star!) NOW. THE BATHROOMS. Holy CRAP!! LITERALLY!!! Absolutely FILTHY AND DISGUSTING!!!! The lines were, as expected, freaking endless - but the horror one encountered once IN the bathroom - just beyond anything I have ever seen in my life. Clogged toilets, vomit, no running water, soap or toilet paper!! One girl in one of the bathrooms was PASSED OUT in one of the stalls - she had locked herself in and had passed out!! Security had to intervene and get inside to help with poor soul out (what a sight that was - smeared make-up, a busted lip and eyes bloodshot, bulging out of her head, I mean something a-lá Courtney Love in her "glory days"...) while you have a bunch of other drunken broads in this tiny, nasty bathroom waiting in a single-file line doing the pee-dance - I CAAAAAAN'T! It was just ASININE. Do NOT attempt to step foot into the place on a holiday weekend!!!!! I won't attempt to EVER step foot into this place all together. read more

Went here the other night for my first time with some friends. It was around 10pm when we arrived and the line was real short which was great. Once we got in it was packed but the place is huge so there's a bunch of room. The bouncers and security were good. The bartenders were friendly and did a good job with drinks. There was a $10 cover which wasn't bad either. This place has pools but that's for the daytime and also volleyball courts. Prices of drinks aren't bad either. They have many spots with bars to go to so you don't have to be in the same place the whole time. I'd definitely recommend this place, you'll have a great time! read more

Been coming here on Friday and Saturday nights that past few summers and its a good time. Bartenders are cool and I've gotten to know a couple of them. The music is always good (if you're into EDM) and it gets packed on weekend nights. The last time, which was this past Memorial Day Sunday, they were doing renovations outside, trying to turn the outside into a pool club (like Vegas). That though took a lot of the space away yet they still tried to fill the place to the amount they usually fit. This made the bar very packed and it was impossible to go between inside and outside. I came because Laidback Luke was playing that night which I thought was real cool. It's definitely a fun place to be at just not when management decides to get greedy and let as many people as they can fit in the place in. But with the new renovations coming and their Sunday night events featuring world renown DJs, I would definitely come back to check it out. On an aside, to no fault of the establishments, the people that come here can be very snobbish and excessive to say the least, but hey it's the Jersey Shore. read more

Okay, I'm not sure how to even start this review. I ended up here for the first time last Friday during Happy Hour to celebrate the start of a co-worker's 50th Birthday weekend (yes, I said weekend...don't ask). Apparently, she and her friends are big regulars here and I didn't really know what to expect. Thank God I went into it open-minded. First off, this place is pretty huge (it's biggest 'plus') with multiple bar areas, all serving mediocre beer/liquor, which seemed to please the ever-growing eclectic crowd just fine. Not finding anything exciting on tap, I ended up drinking Blue Moon (I really hate admitting that) for the duration of my sentence, oops, I mean visit. In all seriousness, this place wasn't too horrible, but then again, I usually have fun no matter where I go, especially when it comes to 'people watching' (with whispered commentary). Needless to say, I had plenty of material for a fun evening. From what I've heard, this place is much 'better' during the summer months. Am I willing to find out? No comment. read more

The only thing I like about this place is that it is huge. The indoor area has a large dance floor with several bars sprawled about. They also have an outdoor area with a bunch of smaller areas in between. They primarily play house music, but it very fist-pumpy. I've definitely heard better. The crowd is full of juice heads & girls with big poofs in their hair. It looks like a place the Jersey Shore cast would go. music is okay (just starting to get into house). Saturdays are my personal favorite, as the house music inside is thumping, and outside on the deck it's more of a vocal house/dance vibe. Even when it's busy there's plenty of space and you can always get a drink. This is definitely a great place been going there since the 80's it can be termed a local bar but I wouldn't use dive bar even in a nice context. Since SUPERSTORM Sandy the owners did s great job of upgrading we go regularly are friendly with all the great staff just a terrific place to go for atmosphere , well priced drinks good live music and DJ's anyone calling it a dive bar go there on a Sat nite during summer good looking, well dressed people having a great time, I'm going tonight!! read more

I came here for a New Year's Eve party. When I got there I was a bit thrown off because it wasn't very spacious or fancy looking. But getting a drink was very easy with bartenders spread throughout. They even have a free photobooth which was a nice touch. The DJ was great and played some top 40s and got the crowd going. There were TVs so we can see the ball drop. Overall a good time! I deducted one star because after a while drinks were spilling left and right - I wish they had someone to clean because it was getting uncomfortable to even stand on the sticky dance floor. Also the second dj wasn't as good as the first. However I would go back and I had a fun night. read more

When you go there with your girlfriend and someone throws ice in the girl friends face - You will do something about it. Bouncer , gets you in a head luck and you can not breath you get that stranght and you flip him over. I wish i could give this place no stars. We had 10 people for my bachelorrette party. My best friend talked to Tom Sueta about a VIP for us. Although he did get back to her, he never put us on the list and employees kept moving us around to talk to different people just for us to find that out. To top it off the staff was incredibly rude. Great club. Awesome dance music in the main room, a chill outdoor venue to walk around and drink amidst a beautiful summer evening. This place packs HOTTIES, so many good looking girls here. If you are single and in your 20's def come check out the headliner in neptune. Be sure to bring a backup id and make sure everything is legit, they do not play around. I saw a military guy not get in because all he had was his military id, they demanded a current driver's license! Come prepared. drinks are reasonable, 5 dollar beers, 8 dollar mixed drinks, standard for the jersey shore. An all in all good time, avoid this place at all costs on a memorial day weekend or 4th of july as they pack it too much and it is quite uncomfortable, and there are numerous fights that break out because of the sardine-like atmosphere. read more

I've been avoiding this place for a while now, but this weekend I broke the streak. It was someone's birthday and I was promised free admission and drink specials for an hour. Well I got in free, but I was late so I was only able to use the special birthday prices for one drink. Rest of my drinks ranged from $3 for a Miller lite to $8 for mixed whatever I had. It was strong, I'll give it that. So why have I been avoiding this place and why did I have such trouble deciding whether to rate this 1 or 2 stars? Well first off it looks like Willy Wonka dropped off his factory workers here to give them a night off. On top of that they all are rude (the other patrons). Is it so hard to move over an inch when people are trying to pass through? I have no desire to squeeze between 2 gorilla juiceheads who are both doing a grinding "dance move" but 7 out of 10 times that night it was the only slightly open route to slip through. Trying to say "excuse me" or make a hand motion indicating you want to pass through is met with no reaction so everyone just resorts to rough shoves. The one room not packed looked like a bomb went off in it. Also I was able to find 2 small mens rooms. Yes Bar A has the same problem, but here it just felt worse. Mainly because one had a longer line than the women's room and the other had no door and people on the deck could look in and watch everyone pee, which is a little weird. Also weird is that I went to high school with one of the spectators and this was the 1st time since graduation that I saw them. So that's why I wanted to give 1 star, I'd really say its 1.5 so I bumped it up to 2 since unlike the patrons, the staff was great. The bartenders made some stiff drinks (and I needed them) and security was even friendly as well. So I bumped it up to two for them.
