Wow is all I can say. I called and they answered immediately. I was looking for an immediate fix on my back which had been killing me for nearly 3 weeks. Soon as I got there they showed me to my room. My massage therapist name was Ariana and she was highly skilled! She has a great understanding of the body and how it works! She maintained great balance between applying deep tissue pressure and moderate pressure. Nice music in the background. She didn't talk much, which is great for me. Writing this review right after my massage, and I don't understand the 4 star average review on The Healing Path. Maybe the other Yelpers who wrote their review had different therapists, but I definitely did not have the massage they wrote about. My friend and I bought Groupons to get the Thai combo massage, ~$40 with the discount. I had gotten a Thai massage for the first time on a trip to LA a few months ago and had loved the combination of massage + stretching. I was hoping this one would be just as relaxing. Unfortunately... 1) The reviews had said it was in a sketchy office building, so I looked out for that. But it's still very easy to miss as it's right off the side of the feeder and there is NO SIGN. We missed it twice. Look out for the 4151 number sign. It's in the same building as an immigration lawyer, if that's helpful. 2) Both entrances were locked when we arrived (front and from the parking garage). I had to call their phone number for someone to come open the door. When he came, he told us that we were supposed to call 125 on the intercom, which is supposedly written on their website (I'm also looking at the website right now and it is written nowhere obviously that I can see)--wish we had been informed of that ahead of time. 3) The massage felt like a glorified lotion rubbing session. Pretty much no pressure applied, and when it was, it was in the wrong places. My therapist pressed the bony surface of her arm down all along my spine, not my paraspinal muscles--which was extremely painful. I told her to stop and she did for a bit but went back later in the massage and continued to do it. My friend also had a similarly terrible and painful experience and said that the therapist applied way too much pressure in pointed places even when he told her to not to. 4) In our one hour session, I got NO leg or lower back massage. It was all neck, upper back, and shoulders, which was great for me since those are my most sore places, but my friend has trouble with his lower back and legs and was really disappointed since the therapists didn't massage there at all. 5) Neither of our therapists could speak fluent English, which I can't fault them for, but it was really difficult to convey what I wanted (like, don't massage my bones, this side is worse than the other so please spend more time on it). 6) For a service that advertises as a Thai combo massage, I was hoping that they would walk on my back as some of the other reviewers had written about, but neither of our therapists did so. I had some stretches in my massage, but my friend had almost none. Some redeeming factors: 1) Jose, who greeted us at the front, was very friendly and accommodating. You get a free bottle of water from him at the end. Woopee. 2) Hot stones come with the masage, though my friend didn't get any hot stones and only got hot towels. Strange. Maybe Jose, the therapist listed on the website and the one with certificates on the wall, would have been good. I didn't want to give a tip at the end, but I felt like I needed to since I think therapists make much of their salary on tips. I will not recommend this to anyone nor go back for another try. It sounds like the experiences here can be really varied, so if you've already bought the Groupon, I hope you have a good experience like some of the other Yelpers have written about. read more

This joint is in an old business building is pretty hard to get to and easy to miss. When we finally found the place it took a while to call the shop to let us in the security doors. Bathroom is a shared public restroom with the rest of the building and requires a key to use. Massage was nice, asked for a deep tissue but turn out to be just a regular massage. Room temp was a bit low and froze my fingers off when it wasn't covered. All is all not a bad massage for the price off Groupon. read more

He went even further and basically told me I was crazy and made up that I have an appointment at 12. My only 'complaints' are that (1) they use a cheap CD player in the room that skips and during the massage the same song kept playing over and over and over again (I had to ask the therapist to change the damn song) and (2) the room they put me in both times I was there is right next to the receptionist, and he is quite loud so that was a disturbance. Shady company! I bought a Groupon on Saturday (Nov 12) and booked an appointment for Nov 13. I had a temperature the following day and decided to cancel the appointment. I explained to the man who picked up the phone. I was told they needed 24 hour cancellation notice but were willing to make an exception and I could call back and make another appointment. They went ahead and redeemed the Groupon without me attending the appointment, the man I spoke with argued with me that was their policy. I mentioned to him I had specifically asked if the Groupon will still be valid and he said yes. I was asked to pay the difference which I refused to do, very shady and not upfront! read more

Last time I had gotten a massage was back in January when I had visited NYC and thought it was time to pamper myself last weekend. I had contacted the business at the beginning of last week via email as to schedule for Saturday but did not receive a response back until 3 days after. Fortunately, they were able to fit me in. They are located in a professional building, but the suite itself was small, maybe 2 or 3 rooms in total not including the tiny seating room. I had arrived about 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment and was promptly handed the paperwork that took about 3 minutes to complete. Easy peesy. From there though, it all went downhill. First off, they had given me minimal time to undress and situate myself before the masseuse came in. She had knocked first but did not bother to wait for me to give consent to come in. The masseuse also did not greet me or inquire about what my preferences would be for the session. I had just came from the gym and was quite sore, so her roughly kneading on my tender quads like it was dough did nothing but exacerbate the pain I was feeling. Even after I had told her to use less pressure, she only lessened for a moment or two then continued to apply more force. While I do appreciate minimal talk during my massage sessions, she made no effort to ask on how I was doing or if I wanted her to concentrate on specific areas of the body. I left feeling no better than I had when I came in, whereas I usually feel like jello after a good massage. Luckily I had just paid the $40 introductory price, but even then, I think I should've just used that money to buy myself a foam roller. That probably would've felt better than I did when I walked out of that office. read more

We were on our way and we got a text from the place reminding us to arrive 10 mins early with an address and phone number. The building looks like a plain jane office building; Nothing special. We arrived and there was no wait, they walked us in the room. My husband had a girl masseuse and I had a guy. We really enjoyed the massage. You know how some masseuses can work out a knot in your back, working it out right to the edge before it "crunches" so you think its going to happen but never does. Yea, this was the opposite of that. just bulldozing through it, crunch crunch crunch. i would never go back to this place again. Also, they have a second location in the Crowne Plaza hotel.
