Difficult to connect with, they do not return phone calls Charged a ridiculous amount of $25.00 for postage to mail me a tube & face mask. Talk about gouging no the customer! My brother's electric wheelchair needed a new seat belt as the existing one had broken. We were greeted as we walked in and they said someone would be with us shortly. We were helped by Jenn. She was helpful, patient and very knowledgeable of what we needed. Although the repair was not an easy one she continued to work with us until the seat belt was repaired. Although there were others in the store she worked and maintained a very professional and patient attitude and was never "put out" as it was taking so long. The place is a scam. They purposely ordered me the wrong scooter lift. Then they lie when I tell them it is not the correct lift, and there is nothing else they can do. Now I have a big pole attached to the back of my car for the last 3 years since I cannot get it off. The guy is a total liar - lied to my parents face when they confronted him. Super nice and pleasant people. Met and saw the owner both times I went and he acknowledged me and was sure to make eye contact and say hello. The shop was super busy with multiple phone calls coming in the short time I was there but the ladies behind the counter apologized for the interruption and handled the situation like professionals. There was a lady in front of me who was having difficulty attempting to figure out a time for herself to make it in for a lift installation. The owner and ladies at the counter problem solved multiple ways they would be flexible enough to make it happen and the lady left with a smile and satisfied. I had two tires to have run-flat inserts installed and the service had a 24 hour turn around at a way less then a quote received by a competitor in Fort Worth. Of all my experiences with mobility stores, this place is the best customer-service and knowledge-wise. I was on a 30 day road trip with my family from California and we were in Dallas/Ft. Worth when my brother's electric wheelchair would not move. We have an accessible van and had it for two months along with the motorized chair for the same so we were not that familiar with all the functions but knew something was wrong. I went to Mobility First thinking there was a problem with the van when in turn they said it was the chair. They referred me to The Healthcare Store as we were far from home and stuck. We were leaving for Louisiana in two days and needed this chair working fast. I met the nicest people that were willing and able to help and diagnosed the problem within minutes after manually removing the chair from the van. They immediately asked the right questions and realized that it's brand new and the motor was under warranty. They called the company and had the part sent overnight arriving by 10 the next day. Ot was fixed and I received a call by noon to let us know the chair can be picked up and we were able to continue our planned road trip without any delays. I am so pleased with The Healthcare Store in Hurst Texas for their professionalism and product knowledge of the Amy Wheelchair. They made us a priority and I am throughly impressed with the care and reassurance displayed. I am very confident that they will get the job done by doing whatever it takes.
