We visited The Heavenly Roast again today. I was debating on trying something new but I enjoyed the Lucky Charm iced latte a lot so I got that again! Still good :) I think this is my favorite shop in the area. Sad we're leaving Gatlinburg tomorrow but I hope to come back to this coffee shop again in future visits to TN. The service was great both days that we went! The barista said that if we didn't like our drink or wanted any modifications they would be happy to help fix it. It was on the expensive side but worth it given proximity to our AirBnB. I had the Iced Butter Pecan Latte and my family had Iced Dirty Chai with Oat Milk. I also got a Pistachio Cookie to enjoy as a snack and really liked it - still soft and flavorful with chocolate chips. Good kick start to our day! Note: Spacious interior with some table seating and also comfy chairs to relax and enjoy a morning brew. They even had creative stools with bicycle pedals as foot rest. This coffee shop is amazing! For drip coffee drinkers they offer a Blend (light roast), medium and dark roast. The dark roast is wonderful. They have homemade (pre-made food). The egg white muffins are really good and the lemon blueberry bread is moist and full of blueberries. Plenty of space to hang out in the shop to enjoy your drinks and food. Love it! The road they are on is also a backdoor to The Smokey Mountain National Park. read more

While my husband will get BRCC when going to the Smokies, I literally have to go to the Heavenly Roast. It's along the ride to Cades Cove and I find the coffee just to die for. It is a normal stop when we finish backpacking or going around Cades Cove. The service is always friendly, the food is good, and the atmosphere is just so calming. Parking can be busy on the weekends, but it's worth dealing with. read more

Had high hopes from a friend's recommendation. :( Disappointing. Don't get the pumpkin spice latte. Super expensive for what the actual product turned out to be. Over $10 for the small 16oz "pumpkin spice latte" with an extra shot of espresso. (Strangely that large of a cup is normally only sold with one shot, so I had to order an extra one.) Save your $$ and go get a fried apple pie across the street. read more

This place was excellent. The barista was sweet and patient. The coffee was good. I got an iced latte and a cinnamon bun. The cinnamon bun had a homemade feel, and the cream cheese frosting tasted great. The decor was nice, and there was plenty of room to sit. Went here for the first time as I found them on yelp. I ordered a special drink they had on the menu called the bumblebee (honey, white chocolate and banana) I always get my lattes with oat milk (they charge $1). I was super excited to try this place as it was so busy and seemed to be popular. My fiancé got a Dubai latte with oat milk. We both got the 24 oz which is a medium. My bumblebee latte was so sweet I couldn't drink it. I couldn't taste any banana in it at all which was why I ordered it in the first place love banana in my coffee. My fiances latte was better than mine but also too sweet. I don't think I'd come back but they were very nice. Wait time was pretty long due to a system malfunction. Not sure what typical wait time is. I think we waited 20mins. Also our two lattes cost $30 which was crazy! read more

Absolutely love this place. My wife and I are celebrating our 28th anniversary and just hiding out in East Tn. Good flow of folks in and out and lots of locals as well as those of us who are visiting. Wow at the list of coffees. Extremely friendly barista. She was great. I left my normal and tried one of their seasonal coffees. I had the cinnamon bourbon something or another. She advised only half sweet and was spot on. It was great. My wife had the seasonal apple something. We got these huge honey buns and huge apple fritters. We saved the treats for later but drank the coffee now. It was all great. The decor is so homey and comfortable. Locals were sitting in front of the fireplace enjoying the fire and coffee. Loved it. It was all great. read more

Stopped by this pleasant coffee shop. The food menu looks great on the screen, but the actual food it's nothing more than frozen bought and warmed up in the microwave. Ordered a maple pancake egg sandwich and what I got looked completely unappetizing, 2 skinny slop pancakes with a very skinny paper thin sausage and egg. It looked like someone pulled a prank on me. The size was probably 2". I don't understand why the owner is selling such crap food, instead of offering something delicious, so customers would want to come back. If you can't offer good food, take it off the menu and serve drinks and coffee. The food served is causing you a bad reputation. The drinks may be amazing, i have not tried any. This super cute coffee shop holds a lot of options. The baristas were very friendly and drinks and food came out really fast. I got the chicken honey biscuit and my group ordered The Grinch (seasonal drink with peppermint and mocha) and a black eye. Both coffees were reported as tasty and perfectly hot. My biscuit was flaky, honey flavor strong and delicious. The chicken itself was likely a frozen patty cause i could taste a cold center but that was the only fault in our visit. Biscuit is a little smaller but perfectly filling. They serve Vienna coffee here as well. A great local coffee company in Maryville. Would definitely recommend and will be back! read more

The most amazing little coffee shop we have ever visited. We first found this place in 2019 on vacation. The location is second to none, the style of the building is a modern log cabin that is warm & comfortable. The staff has always been friendly & helpful & the service is quick. Our all time favorite drink is a large Orange Cream Frappuccino with 2 shots of espresso added. If you've never had orange flavored coffee just give this a try. We stopped in here on our way to the National Park. It's a cool little building and I really liked the setup of the inside. They have bar seating, comfy chairs and lots of open space. Hubby ordered a vanilla latte and said it was okay. We just stopped in here for a coffee after doing a 5 mile hike, and wow! We arrived 10 minutes after closing and this total bro with dreads invited us in anyway and he did so happily, saying it's "no worries folks, it'll take me quite some time to vacuum up and close and I don't mind helping out a few more customers before I do it." He treated us so well, and we had 10 people in our group. Dude was smiling and joking and cheerful the entire time, best service I have experienced since we got to pigeon Forge. The coffee, latte, cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip cookies and brownies were all A+ Would absolutely come here again, this is going to become our regular place when we visit this part of Tennessee. read more

Great stop for coffee. We have our normal coffee shops we visit while in the area but they were out of the way so we tried Heavenly Roast. My husband got a mint chocolate chip frappe that he said was the best he's ever had. I ordered the Honey Harvest latte twice (had to come back the next day because it was so good). One of my all time favorite coffees I've had and I've already tried to replicate the recipe at home. Tried a pumpkin muffin one day that was also good, they have a small selection of muffins/pastries for sale. It's a beautiful place to stop - it's decorated so cozy with lots of great seating areas, even a little tent outside with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Nice staff that were helpful when we were trying to decide what to order. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is the price...I think a medium latte is around $9 and frappes are the same. I think the largest (32oz?) size is best for the price, it was $10. Two drinks ran us around $18 without a tip. read more

Nice and warm stop on a cold day. Great ambiance and friendly waitstaff. You can get some of their roasted coffee to take home if you like. The best feature is the sugar-free options. I REALLY like it that they offer such options wh3n you would rather not have the extra calories (and sugar). Way to go, folks, I appreciate it!!! They also offer pastries that are good. I tried the fried apple turnover. They heated it up, and it was just right. I like the decor on the front porch with the multiple swings to keep kids busy.
