Coffee Shop No. 484 Maddie Mae's Cafe & Creamery Gatlinburg, TN March 26, 2025 Strolling around The Villages in Gaitlinburg I found three great coffee shops. The first one was Maddie Mae's Cafe & Creamery. I was expecting the best cortado of the day to come from an ice cream shop. The caramel latte was the perfect pick-me-up while walking around Gatlinburg. It was smooth, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. The coffee shop had a super cute vibe, making it a cozy stop during our day. Highly recommend! read more

Maddi Mae's is not bad at all, but very average ice cream in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. Situated in the Village, it's a pretty good option for ice cream while strolling through downtown, but I'd probably just go to Kilwin's down the street instead. read more

We stopped by for a coffee in the morning and an ice cream in the afternoon while on spring break. Both were delicious and even the dairy free pineapple Dole Whip. Highly recommend. read more

Friendly service, adorable shop tucked back away from the strip, and really great milkshakes! A little bit pricey, but so is everything else around here. It was empty when we came in so service was really fast - Ben & Jerry's was packed so I'm glad we skipped it and stumbled onto Maddi Mae's. read more

Ok so we have been coming to Tennessee on vacation for the past 6 years. This is the best coffee we have found. It's in an alley in Gatlinburg and has competition with the other coffee place (which we tried-not as good) 100000% recommend this coffee over the other place. Not to mention the ice cream...which was also the best we've had in Tennessee. I recommend the strawberry. Try it! You won't be disappointed. read more

My dining companion got the same order and was unable to drink his. I was able to drink it (because caffeine was needed) but didn't enjoy it. That said, might have been the order? Also, the ice cream looked good! So, maybe with a different order our experience would have been completely different. But, for now--just ok.

The host of the tasting was so friendly. The $5 sample is also a credit to the store. (Details are on your wristband that they'll give you.) They have great things to purchase, not just alcohol. At another bar in the store, you can select from any of their available selections for $3. There is no sharing allowed with any samples. They also have a separate bar in the back of the store. They are dog friendly. They gave our dog a pup cup with a treat in it.

For just $5, you get a decent tasting that's worth checking out. Devin's great energy helped make it memorable. Friendly vibes and good pours overall. If you're in the area, stop by, take a sip, and enjoy. I'd recommend it!

We were checked in on plenty. A few people in our party shared items. The pasta dishes seem to come in skillets. We shared a chicken parm and had plenty leftover even after sharing. The one thing we all noticed, some things were salty. We noticed the ranch for our salad was salty, as well as the chicken on the chicken parm. Other than that, experience was good with friendly staff and a quiet place to eat. Food wasn't anything to rave about, but we enjoyed our meals regardless.
