Owner is unprofessional in response to the never ending issue of being short staffed. Cute shop, but wouldn't spend money here for the exchange of poor quality product. Reviews show over six months of the owner responding to poor quality as a staffing issue therefore they know the product they are selling isn't a fair trade for the sticker price. What a perfect find. Tucked along the artesian shops a family owned coffee house. Family ran as well. We were greeted and served by a high school girl that was very proud to share the family story with us. The chai tealatte was perfect. Just enough apple pie flavor and the temperature made it warm my hands and that warming feeling as it went down my throat. Husband always orders a latte with an extra shot. He went back and got one to go after finishing the first one! Come early in the day if you want pastries, because with each of our visits they were already sold out of most of the items. Drinks came out quickly even though only one person was working and she did an excellent job. All of the pasties we ordered were warmed up and the Lemon poppyseed and pistachio muffins were yummy. Many coffee shops in Gatlinburg are on the strip so I was very relieved to find one that was away from the all of the bustle and that I was able to get in and out of quickly. We were staying at the Buckhorn inn whose coffee is not good. Decided to try this place close by. The staff is nice but the coffee not so good. The lady who makes coffee is not familiar with making good espresso drinks. First off do not choose the Painted Bear not a good combo, second the shot had sat for 5 minutes before they went into our drinks. She pulled shots let them sit, then steamed the milks. Mine was lukewarm and asked for it to be hotter, response was from woman" you saw me steam the milk, yes but it was not hot. Anyway threw it out or rather threw out 4$ not worth going to! read more
