We forgot our camping coffee maker so stopped by and really enjoyed this spot! The coffee was good and they were friendly. I really liked the artwork and pieces they have from local artists. My kids loved seeing the cats on the porch each time we came and kept asking if they could come back to visit the "coffee cats."

Love this place! This quaint cafe which is independent and family owned gives you a feeling like you're walking into your favorite aunt's house. The chai tea latte's were great. Also tried the strawberry danish and it was delicious (granted someone else makes it for them). They support local artesanal goods and there are some beautiful items for purchase. Small space for seating indoors but plenty outside. The service is super friendly and they speak Spanish and English. I would love to come back again.

One of the best coffee shop experiences I've had in a long time. Located about 20 minutes outside of Gatlinburg in the Arts and Crafts Community, I was blown away by the coffee, the service, the location, and pretty much everything else. My son got the cinnamon roll but devoured it before I could take a pic. Would definitely return if I come back to Tenn.

Google coffee in Gatlinburg and Painted Bear Coffee Came up Had a cup of fresh brewed hot coffee w 2 flavor pumps and creamer. And a hot pumpkin spice latte. Both we delicious on this beautiful October Halloween day. Sat on the porch rocking chairs and watched the day go by. Girl who made my coffee was chipper. sweet. Attentive with how I wanted my coffee made. Made it just right!

This coffee shop was super cute and right in the mountains, the environment was adorable and the coffee was delicious! The barista working was super fast as well and very sweet. I highly recommend the banana nut muffins! Delicious

What a great coffee find away from the craziness. We were searching for the art district and found this road of artist and this coffee shop. The owner and her family were so much fun to talk to and the coffee and avacado toast were great. The shop has local art for sale and coffee shirts. We had such a great time and would highly recommend you stop by for coffee!

While staying in Gatlinburg we found this adorable coffee shop in the arts district. Lots of cute shops nearby, but the star of the show was definitely the coffee shop! I got the recommended Painted Bear latte which was warm and filled with honey and toffee nut flavors. I will definitely be going back before our trip is over!

What a perfect find. Tucked along the artesian shops a family owned coffee house. Family ran as well. We were greeted and served by a high school girl that was very proud to share the family story with us. The chai tealatte was perfect. Just enough apple pie flavor and the temperature made it warm my hands and that warming feeling as it went down my throat. Husband always orders a latte with an extra shot. He went back and got one to go after finishing the first one! Come early in the day if you want pastries, because with each of our visits they were already sold out of most of the items. The blueberry muffin was fluffy and loaded with blueberries. They have local gifts and feature local artists in the shop. The pine needle baskets are amazing.

Really cute little coffee shop with a small assortment of art for sale. Coffee was great, service was great and food was pretty decent too. Definitely a nice stop for those in the area, staying away from the big crowds of Gatlinburg.

Coffee is bold and delicious. I had 2 different drinks and both were flavored perfectly. Not too sweet. The bagels are fluffy, better than most chain stores that serve bagels. Id guess it's made by a local each morning.

Cute little coffee shop outside of Gatlinburg. Very cute design & friendly staff however the product wasn't so great . I've had a quiche that tasted not too good , most likely should have been heated in the oven instead of microwave as it was a bit saggy . The Coffee was ok .

In fact, we walked about a mile from our hotel specifically to come here because we remembered it from a previous trip. That's a pretty strong endorsement considering there are approximately 7,000 places in Gatlinburg willing to sell you coffee, fudge, pancakes, taffy, or some combination of all four. Tucked away inside The Village, Coffee & Company has that hidden gem feel that makes you wonder how many people walk right past it without realizing what's waiting inside. The coffee itself is solid. One thing I appreciated was the balance. Too many coffee shops seem to believe that foam should either completely dominate the drink or be absent altogether. Here, the ratio of coffee to froth was right where it should be, allowing the coffee itself to remain the star of the show. I ordered a flavored coffee, and while I wasn't completely in love with the particular caramel syrup they use, that's more personal preference than criticism. Coffee flavors are a bit like pizza toppings... ask ten people and you'll get twelve opinions. The drink was still enjoyable and well made. The staff deserves credit as well. Friendly, efficient, and quick without making the experience feel rushed. They seemed genuinely happy to be there, which isn't always guaranteed when dealing with tourists before they've had their caffeine. What I like most about Coffee & Company is that it knows exactly what it is. It's not trying to be a trendy coffee laboratory where your drink arrives after a 15-minute explanation of bean origins and atmospheric conditions during harvest season. It's simply a really good coffee shop serving really good coffee in a charming location. Would I walk a mile for it? Absolutely. Would I walk five miles? Let's not get carried away. Four stars. A hidden gem that's worth seeking out, especially if you're wandering through The Village Shops and need a quality cup of coffee to fuel your next round of Gatlinburg adventures.

Reservations ARE a Must!!! No Exceptions!!! Don't try to do a walk in. I've read some speaking on their business model this place has plenty of business I've seen it they are not hurting for patrons to come. We are being gifted with an invitation to experience southern hospitality and face to face socializing like the days of old. When families and businesses cared about more than fast money and saw people as humans and not checks or tourists even. This place makes you remember businesses should have more care of human beings, ethics and integrity and not just a product. There is a reason you need a reservation. This tea room is meant to give personalized attention and service to the patrons not to fill the restaurant's seats. The women who work here love what they do. Also there are only three women I could see there serving /cooking from 3:00 am I'm told throughout the entire service window. My cup was never empty and nothing I asked for was missed. They were accommodating to each request and we made plenty. We were a table of nine, ages 3-72. There is a beautiful artist upstairs sharing stories, paintings and drawings making memories and providing the best hospitality Tennessee has to offer. There is a scavenger hunt in the artist's paintings just ask about it. If you want to take some of the tea home with you they sell it by the gallon and you need to ask for it when you make your reservation through text message NOT while you are there. If you want to taste the tea first go to your reservation and try it. Then request to make another reservation just for the tea to purchase for another day but it is your risk to take. They may or may not allow it because everything they are doing has been made to serve you that day and depending on how busy the restaurant may supplies may not be available to fill the request. This is WHY reservations are so important for your enjoyment and personal catered experience. I was able to see two situations while I went to the restaurant. One group of women didn't have a reservation and therefore they could not be served. The ladies were upset clearly and worked diligently to let other patrons know they were not pleased. They went as far as to ask the waitress about other places they could go to eat while the waitress was in the middle of explaining the menu to our table. There is no food desert in Tennessee you can't walk down a street and not see a food place. Another group came to the restaurant before their reservation. They were acknowledged and asked to please wait under the covered outdoor seating area. They were told at 1:30 ,which was the reservation time according to the patron, they would be called. They were welcomed to The Wild Plum Tea Room. The time was 1:20.The patrons were unhappy about this. I don't know of many restaurants where one has never heard take this buzzer your wait time will be 45 minutes to an hour. With a reservation if you come early they will say we will be right with you or we will call you when your table is ready and even those places don't give you half the attention this place does. You may see tables empty. You may assume they could've just this or that. Give this place a complete chance and learn for yourself the attention to detail these women put into serving the locals, their community and tourists. There is extra parking available to you near the tea room because the onsite parking is smaller.Just follow the sign that says The Wild Plum Tea Room. Enjoy your meal!!!I loved everything,my sister, who is a picky eater ,loved everything other than the peas and bread puddinbecause they were the fresh ones with a bite. That's her preference not a charge against the restaurant. This is not an English tea experience. You are away from the noise and adventure of Pigeon Forge but it's only twenty minutes away from it all also.pass by the Bison and take some time to slow down when you visit The Wild Plum Tea Room.

You need reservations; if you don't have them, you risk getting turned away. It's a husband and wife running the entire place. No extra help. They want you to stay and relax and enjoy everything. We only stayed 90 minutes and they tried to get us to stay longer. Like all the reviews say, it's a very European experience. We've never experienced anything like it. We started with an old fashioned and a margarita from the daily cocktail menu. Olga welcomed us with a hug and took us to our table. She didn't stay out long because she is the chef! But it was still cool to interact with her in the beginning. Both her and her husband made us feel like family. It started pouring and he walked outside with an umbrella and held it for 2 girls at the bar. I thought that was super sweet. We ordered the salmon roe caviar and it was divine. Our second course was the oyster flatbread and I ended up being sad I was sharing it. It was that good!!!!! We were pretty full at this point after a couple more drinks. They were really busy too, so we decided to go ahead and get the check. It started raining right after we got our check, so we ended up getting one more drink to wait it out. Owned and operated by a European couple, the Red Oak has the ambiance of a quaint European restaurant that one would find tucked away in the Alps. While the inside atmosphere is wonderful, we chose to sit outside to enjoy the very quiet and beautiful forested hills of Gatlinburg.
